My washer would not spin. It is old so I was worried it was unrepairable. Smart Choice came out on time and examined my washer. It turns out there was loose change caught inside. He removed the coins and put the washer back together and then checked it to make sure that was the problem. It has been running fine since.

everything went great. They showed up on time, quickly found the issue and explained it fully. They were very clean, polite and worked fast. Thought the price was very fair, and even told me if there were any issues to call and they would take care of it. Highly recommend!!!

As other reviewers have stated, Luke is very professional, personable and efficient. He determined the problem and took the steps needed to replace the parts and return the fridge back to proper working condition. He charges a fair price and I will definitely call on him for any future appliance repairs needed.

We have a General Electric microwave oven that was purchased in June 2012 that stopped working (heating and turn table stopped working). Luke, the owner, came out to fix it and determined that it was a factory defect and fixed the problem. Without going into detail here, he expalinaed the problem to our satisfaction and fixed our microwave oven. Luke is a certified technician and was extremely professional. We would hire him again to fix any appliance. We recommended Luke to several neighbors.

Smart Choice Appliance was amazing. After making my appointment I realized that the problem was worse than I thought. I called after 5:30 PM and their office was still open, then Luke, the owner, personally came out that night to help us. As a mother of 2 small children with a fridge full or expensive organic milk and meat, we were so thankful that Luke came and fixed the problem the very same day. He was impeccably neat and very instructive on how to maintain our fridge for the future. I will be recommending Smart Choice Appliance to all of my family and friends, I wish more service professionals were this easy to work with. Thanks!

Everything went great from the time I made the call. The receptionist was very pleasant and efficient. She was able to give me an appointment that was convenient for my schedule. Luke called 30 minutes before he was to get here. He was very polite and knowledgeable. Explained everything he was doing and showed me what was wrong. I would use them again.

Smart Choice Appliance is top notch! I called and explained the issue we were having with our refrigerator. Luke scheduled an appointment that was convenient for us and called a half hour before he came out to do the work. When he arrived, he was courteous, informative and did a great job. We will definitely use Luke for all of our future needs as well as recommend him to anyone we know that needs repairs done correctly and affordably.

Luke is professional, prompt & reliable. He came out when promised & work was done well. Prices are competitive, but the customer service was above and beyond what I expected. The work was done neat & Luke is very personable. We will certainly use Smart Choice Appliance again in the future.

He replaced 2 sensors and defrosted the unit so it would work properly. He also cleaned the inside of the unit once he was finished with the work which was beyond what I would have expected from almost any service technician. He also replaced a control arm on the ice maker at no charge which prevents the ice tray from over loading. He called before coming to the house so I wasn't waiting around all afternoon and arrived during the time frame of our original appointment. I was glad to have the refrigerator working again and was impressed with the level of service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to anyone who is having trouble with a major appliance.

He checked the range, the plug and the outlet. After determining that the problem was electrical he investigated our circuit box. It turned out that the circuit was not wired tightly enough.

Luke was able to complete the installation with no difficulty. He was prompt, friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and left the installation area spotless and hauled all packaging materials away. I was able to discuss the merits of various manufacturers of kitchen appliances and feel when I replace the existing oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher I will make an informed selection. Contacted our tenant to set up the appointment. After assessing the situation he immediately contacted me for approval and to let me know what needed to be done. He also was able to fix another problem the tenant had. Very nice would definitely call again.

He was great. Explained the cost of the parts and went to the electric store to purchase the replacement box for the 240 line. Installed the new power cord first and when that didn't fix the problem, took it the further step of testing the outlet and discovered the wiring in the box had burned out. He bought a new box and returned the next day to install it.

The part was ordered, and an appointment was made to install it. They arrived at the time promised. The technician had all the necessary parts and the installation was completed within a 1/2 hour. The technician protected the work area, and cleaned up after he was through. He was thorough, professional and the cost of the job was very fair.

Luke was on time, very neatly dressed and very professional. He had to take several parts off to get to the problem of my LG bottom freezer. He seemed to know exactly what to do and followed each step efficiently. He cleaned up the floor and surrounding areas so it was cleaner than before. After about 1 hour he was finished. I would use this company again.

Everyone was very friendly and professional from the lady in the office that took my call to Luke who came out and did the repairs. Luke called 30 mins prior to arriving, I explained that my sons were home to let him in and he went out of his way to call me with every finding and advised what needed to be done and what the cost would be prior to just doing it. They are very fair in pricing...my biggest expense was one of the parts (a fuse) that needed to be replaced. I was a little surprised at the cost of a fuse but Luke was kind enough to explain the difference between a fuse for a car that is little and inexpensive and the fuse required for the dryer and how much more it did. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of appliance repairs!

I called after hours and Luke (who was exactly what I wanted in a service tech) came out before noon the next morning. Very professional and spoke to me in layman's terms which was great. Didn't try sell me items I didn't need but took care of my broken fridge completely. Price was well below what I expected. You really never know what you are going to get when you call for a service tech but now Luke from Smart Choice is my guy. Highly recommend!!!

Service tech (Luke) called about an hour before the 2 hour time window to ask if he could arrive early. Clean and neat (and it carried over to his work ethic), he was a pleasure to deal with, found the problem quickly, did a temp bypass, gave me an aprox. cost to repair and called the next day with a firm quote. Luke called when he received the part and we set atime for today between 1 and 3 PM. Received a call from him about 2:15 to tell me he might be a few minutes late but he was still within the window when he arrived. I would not hesitate to call them in the future and I would have no problem recommending Smart Choice to anyone. This company really delivers service with a smile, something that is sort of rare these days .

Called on Friday, and got a 9:00 am appt for Monday morning. Luke told me the price to fix my washing machine....which was expensive considering the machine was old, and recommended that it might be more cost effective to get a new one...He even gave me recommendations of several brands. He fixed my garbage disposal and refrigerator. Luke was on time, professional, neat, knowledgeable, and thorogh ,and his price was very fair. Thank you Angies list....another great provider!!!

It went well. Luke arrived within the expected time frame and cheerfully got right to work. He didn't mind lifting the dryer off its frame located above the washing machine. After replacing the thermal fuse, Luke gave the dryer a good cleaning and put the dryer back up on the frame. He tested the dryer before leaving.

Service was top notch from the beginning. I called to explain the problem, Luke called me back with an estimate, we scheduled the service appt. and he called 1/2 hour before he came to do the work. When he arrived, he was very courteous and did a great job fixing everything. I need to replace a part on my stove top and he will be coming back to fix that as well.

Our dryer suddenly stopped working. We found this provider on Angies List, called, and they came the next day. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He found the problem with the duct work when he fixed the switch and we mentioned that the dryer does not get hot enough to dry towels. He explained the charges clearly, before he did any work, he explained what he was doing, and why, wrote up his findings for us, and completed all of the work in that same visit. Great experience, we will definitely use them again.
