Luke (the owner) was the best repairman I have ever dealt with. He was punctual, professional but pleasant, knowledgeable, skillful, tidy, efficient and effective. Given the wonderful quality of the work he provided, I felt the cost of his work was not only affordable but quite reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this young man to anyone in need of an appliance repair.

After a bad experience with a provider recommended on the Bosch website, I found Smart Choice on Angies List and called them. The other company had charged me $ 85 for a quick look at the problem, which I had described to them in detail even with infos on the broken part. It was exactly what I told them, but of course they didn't bring the part. So they called me later and quoted me another $ 150 in labor, so $ 235 for labor only. I told them, that I felt way overcharged and will find someone else. What a pleasant surprise when I called Smart Choice. The lady answering my call wrote down all the details and explained the problem to Luke. He called me back within one hour and gave me a quote and a date. He knew exactly what I was talking about, ordered the part and came out within a couple of days at exactly the time we had set and did the repair quickly and professionally. I ended up paying only ca. $ 100 for labor plus 40 for the part, so less than half of the labor cost the other company wanted to charge. He even took the time to diagnose a problem with my Bosch refrigerator and never even thought about charging me for the extra time. We've been living in Boca for 10 years and that was by far the most pleasant experience with a service provider we ever had. I will definitely use Luke again for future appliance repairs and will highly recommend him to all my friends. Professional, reliable, fair... this was an awesome experience! Luke gave me a two hour window and said that he would call 30 minutes out. He did call with a 30 minute heads up and arrived within the stated window. After taking the Samsung dryer apart and testing the fuses, he replaced the faulty heating element. Once everything was put back together nice and neat. Luke was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and we would certainly use him again.

It all went well . Luke came and changed out the parts that needed to be changed. He was polite , and efficient . Fridge / freezer now working

I called Smart Choice and spoke to Christine who was very professional and very accommodating with regard to my work schedule. Luke showed up on time and quickly assessed the situation. It turned out that I had an extremely clogged drain which was the result of bathroom carpets that fell apart during the wash cycle. He quickly fixed the drain and in addition found a small leak which would have turned into a big leak eventually. I wouldn't hesitate calling this service. They are the best.

He was very professional and efficient and diligent in trying to make it work and replaced the electronic board with a new one as a last ditch effort but the machine had seen better days and it seems a power surge had done it in. I think he felt worse than we did about it. Anyway, I would gladly call him again and recommend him.

Excellent. This job was needed after another provider came out to repair the fridge - which did not solve the issue, resulting in my call to Smart Choice. Very polite and professional. Absolutely will use again.

WHAT A FIND!!!! AND ON ANGIE'S LIST, TOO!!! Luke is fantastic. He arrived within the time window, calling to give me a heads-up that he was on his way. Professional, polite, intelligent, Luke assessed the problem we were having with our 2-year old Maytag washer. When he determined it was not major -- we feared that the Mother Board might be bad, which would have been very costly --he made the necessary adjustments and only charged us for the service call. WOW! When does anything come in under-budget anymore?! We found Luke and his company on Angie's List, and once again 100% satisfaction. Would hire him again in a New York Minute! (Or in a Delray Beach Minute, too!) Can't recommend highly enough!!!

Luke came promptly to fix my washing machine. Realized it needed cleaning so he steamed it. He also didn't like the placement of my machines so he moved them back giving me much more room in our crowded laundry room. With that, the doors on my machines had more room to stay open and not knock me out every time I do laundry. He was extremely pleasant and nice to work with. I will definitely call them for my next service call.

Luke responded the same day I contacted him and was able to get it fixed that day too. He seemed perfectly honest and I am very happy with the service.

The cost was $300 including parts and labor. The service went excellent. Their price was reasonable for what he did, and they did a good job over a long weekend. They called to check a couple of weeks after the work was done. They did a follow up to make sure everything was okay.

Luke responded immediately, set up an appointment, kept the appointment, and did everything expertly at minimal cost. He is professional and friendly and goes above and beyond to help his client. Our GE dryer was emitting a burning smell when we tried to use it. Luke examined it, knew exactly what to look for, found the problem, and fixed it expertly with minimal fuss and minimal cost. He had all the necessary tools and parts with him, so he was able to fix the problem right then and there, which was a tremendous plus! He obviously respects his clients and their living spaces and leaves his workspace immaculate. It was an excellent experience, beyond expectations, and the dryer now runs perfectly. I recommend Luke and Smart Choice to everyone.

I called Luke on a Monday morning because my dryer wouldn't start. He was able to schedule an appointment for that afternoon in the 2pm to 4pm window. He also told me to print the coupon from Angie's List to get 10% off. He called at 3:17 to say that he was on his way and arrived at about 3:45. He quickly diagnosed and replaced the blown fuse on the dryer. He also tested the vent to make sure that it wasn't clogged up which could have been the cause of the blown fuse. While moving the washer and dryer back into place he noticed that the washer was not on its frame. He offered to reinstall the frame and check out the washer. It turned out that the agitator dogs needed to be replaced. Finally I mentioned to him that the refrigerator sometimes made a loud humming noise. He ran some diagnostics and determined that there was some noisy tubing that was causing the hum. Luke maintained a professional and friendly demeanor while he was here.I would highly recommend him.

He decided that the repair was more expensive than the freezer itself. He read through the warranty and determined that we should contact the company for replacement. He further sent in the invoice with the description of the problem to the company. In all he was very helpful, and very professional.

Luke called a few minutes before he arrived, just as he said he would. He arrived promptly during the timeframe he had given me. It took him almost no time at all to figure out what was wrong with our refrigerator. It was really obvious that he had dealt with this problem before. He had all the tools with him that he needed, including a vacuum cleaner and a steamer. He even had an insulated chest to put my freezer food in so it wouldn't melt while he was doing his work! He was very efficient, knew exactly which pieces of our refrigerator he needed to remove to get to the problem. I would definitely use him again and would happily refer him to anyone who needs a large appliance repair in Palm Beach County.

Very impressed. I called many companies before calling Smart Choice. Smart Choice was the only company that answered the phone plus repaired LG appliances (some companies never returned my call.) They arrived on time and did a thorough job.

Outstanding customer service from start to finish. I called Smart Choice at 8:30am and Christina had me schedule in minutes by the end of the day. She was super polite on the phone. Luke called 20 min. before he came and quickly diagnosed it was my compressor. He gave me a quote on the repair but advised me that it really wasn't worth fixing because of the age of the fridge and the cost to associated (approx. $800 to replace compressor and install). He also advised me on what are the best brands on the market in the price range I was willing to spend. Wow, an honest repair services. Excellent customer services combined with courteous and honest contractor always makes for a great experience and I will refer them to anyone who needs there services for sure.

Smart Choice Appliance was easy to reach and service was on time and done within the window of time estimated. Our technician, Luke, was very knowledgeable and efficient. He suggested only items that were necessary and did an excellent job. We will definitely use Smart Choice Appliance in the future.

Luke cleaned out the ice maker pipes completely of all debris and once that happened, ice began forming again. My ice maker had not been working at all for over a week and when Luke was done, bigger ice cubes and much more ice was in my ice bin. Luke was polite, punctual and professional. He charged me only for a service call because no parts or labor were necessary. He told me that should a part be necessary, he would shop it around to get me the best price because Subzero brand is always more expensive and may not be necessary. While we were talking, he gave me great advice on my dryer as well and due to his recommendation I then got my dryer vent cleaned out by another company because Luke doesn't go on 2nd story roofs and now my dryer works wonderfully. I will call Luke immediately if any of my appliances need repair.

Luke Klischuk the technician was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained the problems and showed us what is would to to correct the problem and then corrected same. While there he also cleaned the coils and fax under the freezer. WE would use him in a heartbeat for any repair problems we have in the future and also would highly recommend him to everyone. PS the price was reasonable. .

They did a great job. They were here within two hours and they fixed the problem. They were very knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. He explained everything and was very accurate. They were nice and professional. I would recommend them and I would use them again.
