Shutter Services & Screen Repairs has been in business since 1993. Our extensive experience in hurricane shutters has been the guiding force in determining both the best new shutter installation methods, systems and specific components. Our accordion hurricane shutter is built to outlast others on the market and is the easiest to operate when you need it to the most. All installers are Shutter Services & Screen Repairs, Inc. employees. The majority of our staff has been with us more than 10 years with some being here more than 20+. We do not use any subcontractors. The only time someone other than one of our employees is involved in our installation process is a licensed and insured electrician when we are installing electric roll-up systems. Most companies today are built on their sales background, making them less in touch with true installation craftsmanship and the importance of using the best products available down to the smallest shutter component. We are the only Hurricane Shutter Service Provider for all the Home Depots between Coconut Creek and Jupiter. We don't claim to be perfect, but we don't run from problems, and we take pride in our work. We look forward to working with you on your hurricane shutter needs.

be sure everything is in working order. They were very rude on the phone and I wanted my money back. It was a waste of service, not good
Description of Work: Service call to check all existing accordion aluminum shutters on home before hurricane Matthew one month before. The service call was $95 and when I tried to use the locks to secure the shutters they would not lock into place The system is is a large screw goes into a hole. So when I want to use the accordion shutters they would not lock into place when hurricane Matthew came. I called and that it took them a while to return my call. When I explain my situation I said it's up to the homeowner to know how to do that. I believe that part of the service call is to be sure everything is in working order. They were very rude on the phone and I wanted my money back. It was a waste of service,

We are sorry the home owner was not happy with our service. We went to her home and lubricated old accordion shutters originally installed by another company. We also fixed a lock for $95.00 total. The home owner did call back at another time and saying a lock on another shutters was not working. We recommended she stop by our shop and we would be happy to show her some tricks to ease operation. Home owner wanted us to return and we informed her if it was another old lock that was broken we would have to charge her for the second service call. We have since returned her original payment of $95 and advised her to call another repair company.

AMAZING! FANTASTIC! INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They installed hurricane shutters for me 3 years ago. Yesterday, when we were under a Hurricane Watch (Hurricane Matthew), I was closing up my shutters and encountered a problem. I called them and left a message. About 3 hours later, the installer was at my house and fixed the problem at no charge. I CANNOT SAY HOW WONDERFUL THIS COMPANY IS!!!

I needed my upstairs shutters removed to repair the balcony. They came and worked hard to remove them since the people that tried to repair my balcony added glue around the shutters. They worked really hard. After the balcony was fixed they came back and installed the shutters. I was very happy with the work they performed.

I emailed the company and got a prompt response as to who we should call. We called and spoke to Barry who scheduled the maintenance according to our availability. Carlos actually came out early and started the maintenance without us being home. He was almost completely finished when we arrived. He was pleasant, professional and prompt. He gave us some good advice regarding our shutters. We are completely happy and will schedule yearly maintenance.
