I purchased the Big Deal consultation on April 27th. Tracy and I scheduled a visit for May 14th. Tracy was very personable, and spent over an hour with my girlfriend and I discussing our planned bathroom remodel. We gave her links to examples that we have seen online, and tried to give her everything that she needed to create a design. Since meeting with her, Tracy has not responded to email, Angie's List messages, or phone calls. At this point, we don't expect to see a 3D rendering. Even if she were to send it to us, we certainly would not contract with her for the remodeling. We are very disappointed in this result, and will be filing a refund request through Angie's list.

I have yet to hear back from her after the initial "I am almost done with your rendering. Here are a few images to look at in the meantime." She has not responded to my emails. I have called her "Office" and get a person at an answering service who says "she is unavailable". The service is very courteous, but just seems to have been told to say "she is not available" and will not answer any questions about the company or Tracy. The service person said she does not work for or represent Tracy, and that I should talk to Angie's List about my problem. I'm not sure who she works for. I'd have to guess that something has happened to Tracy, since all her earlier reviews were As. I hate to see businesses fail like this, but I have to give her an F. I have requested a refund of the purchase from Angie's List.

I was amazed at how much time company owner Traci spent with us. She listened carefully to us, measured everything, gave us new and terrific ideas we'd never considered. We're seeing the kitchen in a whole new way. And the price she quoted for the work seemed reasonable based on what we'd seen. We had a different designer come in previously and it was nowhere close to what Traci did. We are looking forward to working with her in the future.

No good. They are not very responsive to emails. I am still waiting to hear back from them on an email I sent them.

Most of the work was done while I was away. The whole project was completed on schedule and as planned. Tracy spent a lot of time helping me pick out the color scheme for the walls and the floor and she was professional and very knowledgable throughout the entire process. She arranged for two quotes for the painting and she acted as the general contractor for the entire project. I am very pleased with the results. She was easy to work with and always on time for our meetings. I am planning to do another project with her in the fall and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to upgrade their home.

I have contacted the company by phone and email several times since I bought the Big Deal and I have not received any response from them. I am very disappointed in this company.

Tracy promptly responded to my email and set up an appointment to meet at my house. I was very happy with her ability to come up with a color palette for the whole house during our initial visit. We also discussed ideas for a kitchen and master bath face lift. She spent over 3 hours with me and worked out a plan taking my feedback into account. She had some brilliant and unexpected ideas on updating some tired areas of the house.

Tracy arrived promptly--trudging through snow with a cast on her foot! She spent more than the specified 2 hours, giving me suggestions for paint colors, furniture(what to replace and what to keep), and window treatments. She took notes throughout and then, upon leaving, left me a copy of all her suggestions. I was appreciative. I believe that Tracy was approachable, thoughtful, knowledgeable and very professional.

I have moved into an apartment and needed help with rearranging my furniture to make it look more spacious. We focused on the living room area. She was really easy to talk to and did an amazing job. She was great!

.The consultation went very well. I found Tracy to be professional yet down-to-earth and easy to work with. She helped with my immediate need to select a paint color and also gave me lots of ideas for going forward with updating my house. She struck me as competent and knowledgeable. I would definitely consider using her services in the future.

We wanted to remove a wall between our kitchen and living room for an open space concept and put an island in the kitchen, build a closet for our washer and dryer and a closet for vacuums. We also wanted to open a hall closet to hang our coats on hooks and put a bench to take shoes off and on and a shelf for hats and gloves. Tracy dealt with the general contractors and tradespeople and when the estimates were higher than we anticipated she recommended others who gave us estimates within our budget. She was always one step ahead of us guiding us along the way without too much pressure. She presented options of accessories and when we chose to go out to look at accessories on our own she was always available to us to help us make the right choices. She handled all of the finances and presented itemized bills prior to every payment. She had good judgment as to how to organize our new kitchen to blend well with the living and dining room.

The kitchen needed to be upgraded since it still had the 40 year old look. So, the cabinets, countertops, floors, drawers, appliances were replaced. It was a messy job, but the workers were very conscious of not leaving the residue for us to worry about. Of course, this was accomplished under Tracy's watchful eyes. The work was finished under the due date, and that made us very happy. We were able to list our home at a very profitable price, and now, we are enjoying our new home in beautiful Florida! Tracy gave a two week timeline and she was on budget and on time. The result was a $30,000 increase in the purchase price from a previous offer and a sale on the first day of showings.. This is a phenomenal return on investment! Tracy is professional and responsive. Not only that, she is very talented. I highly recommend her.

We signed up with Tracy for a major kitchen renovation that included removing a load-bearing wall to open up our kitchen and living room. We liked her design and she thought we could get the work done by contractors she worked with for a price that would fit our budget. The first thing we did was look at and buy the kitchen cabinets that she showed us that we felt were high quality. We signed a contract on March 7th to work with her on our kitchen at an estimated date early in July. We put it out of our mind for a while and at the end of April we contacted her again to work on estimates. The first estimate was high and she said she could ask other contractors to look at the job. We had a choice of 2 general contractors, and approximately 6 or 7 estimates for floor, painting, electrical work and plumbing. Since the plumbers she chose came in high she agreed to let us decide on a plumber we had used in the past. The price finally was within the ballpark of what we could afford. The work started on the date we agreed and moved along very quickly and the workers provided quality work. They were respectful and responsive to our needs. We were consulted about every issue such as a light not being able to be put in the place we had chosen because a beam was there. There were some surprises such as the cost of an engineer but we were glad the rules that had been set by the building inspector in our town were being followed. Throughout Tracy made recommendations for lighting and other accessories such as faucet and drawer pulls and always gave us two choices to pick from that were within our price range. In some cases we looked for ourselves and chose what we wanted following her advice as to what might fit in with the rest of the decor. She asked us to pick out the main wall color and was very supportive in the color we chose. She determined the trim color and we agreed with her rationale. Tracy was professional and positive about our choices and only occasionally would absolutely say no to one of our ideas which in retrospect we are glad she did. When she stopped in to go over receipts and payments she also spent a lot of time to talk with us about choices of accessories. She was friendly and easy to talk to. Our renovation was completed in 4 and 1/2 weeks and she has made a followup appointment to discuss some decorating ideas and more ways to save money. We absolutely love our new kitchen living area and would never have made such a change without Tracy.

I signed my contract with Tracy at the end of February after finding her on Angie's List. She had a special for three hours of design services. When I contacted her to see if she did design services as well as home staging she asked that I not go through Angie's List for the deal and do it directly through her so that she would receive all of the money. Tracy's design philosophy is to start at the walls and work her way in. So she first asked that I pick a wall color and then she would design around that. She came up with some very interesting ideas about furniture placement, beams in the ceiling, etc. that I liked a lot. I do think she has a very good design sense. The issue with Tracy and why I cannot recommend her is her responsiveness, customer service and inability to manage the myriad of details that come with a project. She frequently cancelled appointments at the last minute, was late to several more and did not come prepared for others. She would often forget about what we had talked about in prior meetings and I needed to constantly remind her of the style I wanted, the items that were still open, and what else she needed to do. There was a stretch of time in March and April where she went radio silent and I was only able to get in touch with her after calling the contractor that she deals with. The contract I signed with Tracy asked for half of her fee up front and half at the midpoint of the project. I paid promptly but shortly after I paid her the second half of the fee she basically abandoned the project. I could not get in touch with her. She had told me that the contractor would start at my house on 7/7 but when I contacted the contractor he told me that he had told Tracy several weeks previously that he was going to be held up because of another project. Finally towards the end of July after repeated attempts to contact Tracy I formally terminated her services because of her abandonment of the job. I am currently pursuing a complaint against her with the Better Business Bureau.

That turned out well. She did a nice job help helping me choose paint colors. I was pleased with the results and it was a really nice color pallet. We rented out that home shortly after and everyone loved the colors.

It was a very valuable experience. Here's what happened. I already had a very specific paint color in mind for my living room. I loved the living room color of my friend's house in Californiaand had brought a paint sample back home. However, Tracy examined and rejected it. I was taken by surprise, but she explained that the light and room orientation is completely different than that of my friend's house, and I wouldn't achieve the same affect. Wow....I had to wrap my brain around that advice. Frankly, at first I wasn't sure she was right. I was very attached to my paint color choice. Then I did more reading and research and found out more about paint "light reflective value", and how the paint color changes in a room based on lighting. It turns out Tracy was dead right. I would have been disappointed if I went with my original color choice. Instead, I ended up chosing a different paint color with my new found knowledge and Tracy's advice. The outcome is gorgeous. Thank goodness for my consultation with Tracy. I would have made a very expensive mistake. Even worse, I would have had to live with it for a very long time.

Quite simply, Tracy was excellent, and we plan to use her services again very soon. Tracy is very professional, and was responsive immediately to the Angie's List special. She has an excellent breadth of experience which was evident from the very beginning. Tracy was very thorough in understanding our lifestyle and the issues we are having with home decor. She was a good listener and provided very concrete suggestions on how to improve our house. We immediately liked all her suggestions, and she demonstrated excellent creativity to solve some of our problems in the house. We highly recommend her, and very much value her opinions and thoughts. She also made some very practical suggestions about ways that we could make upgrades and changes somewhat inexpensively. Couldn't be more pleased!

We were hoping to get ideas for colors to decorate a few rooms in our new house. My husband found it difficult to focus on his key questions with the designer; she wanted to talk in generalities and he was looking for some specifics. We did get color recommendations for one room, but they were based on her focusing on one piece of art we had in the room that we weren't very attached to and we weren't crazy about the recommendations. I'm not sure how much the issue was with her approach or how our expectations were set. Overall the most useful thing we got from the experience was advice to move a thermostat so we could put a larger painting on some wall space.

She was pleasant and professional. She emailed me a hand written copy of her recommendations which I have used as a guide. Future services seemed a little expensive for home staging but if my home doesnt sell, I will call her and avail myself of her services.

We loved working with Tracy, she spent a lot of time here getting to know our personality and lifestyle. She helped pick out our entire first floor of paint colors. Really liked her work and taste. Would use her again.

Moore Home Staging & Design was prompt. She was very friendly and open and she listened to what I said and looked for things I was looking for. She was very professional. She answered what I asked. She didn't offer a lot of information, but I guess she was trying to find out what I was looking for. When I did ask, she had an answer. So, it's kind of interesting.
