Description of Work: I wanted to do new kitchen and bathroom floor and backsplash tile. I wanted a professional design consultation to help us so I bought this Big Deal. Scheduling Tracy was no problem, she came to our house on time and spent 1.5hrs with us discussing details and planning next steps. She took a few pictures, and notes and went on her way to work on her "Full set of computer-generated 3-D renderings" as promised in the coupon. However, a week of absolute and total radio silence followed from her--not one follow-up email or phone call. No design mock-ups, nor any other details such as pricing estimates for work of our kitchen or bathroom were sent to me as promised. I was abundantly clear about our tight target timeline for work and to let a week go by without any follow-up is frankly unacceptable customer management and exceptionally poor service in our age of email and cell phones.. This does not engender any feeling of confidence in her project management skills---which is what her big "value add" is (her words). There are literally hundreds of similar designers/project managers who are available and we will not be moving forward with her. We will be asking for a refund from Angie's List.

Description of Work: I bought $149 coupon to get advice on what to change/fix/update/upgrade because we want to rent our house for a year. A little difficult to get in touch with even in the beginning but okay. She came and seems very professional and knows her stuff and had some suggestion. So I think she can be good but... she was supposed to follow up with a bunch of stuff but I am still waiting, even after several emails; NOTHING, just promises. At this point, I have already moved on and the suggested changes most likely won't happen because there is no time to get it finished before the rental. If you have more time, she might be good but I never got a chance to find that out.

Tracy was on time, professional during the visit and left me with a good color palette that I am using throughout my home. I had a positive experience during this visit. However, before she left, I indicated that I would be interested in getting an estimate for additional design work on a specific renovation project. She did not follow through and give me the requested estimate and never responded to my follow up emails. If she wasn't interested in my follow up project, I would have preferred that she just say so, rather than ignoring my estimate request

Description of Work: Helped me choose paint colors and recommended contractors. Very good with colors. But her recommendations for redecorating were more than we wanted to do or could afford at this time.

Her record keeping from one meeting to the next was not very organized and so we wasted some time at the beginning of each meeting. We do hope to use her again.

We talked about the things I like about what we have here and what the layout is like. He talked to me about what possible different colors at least three of the rooms. He made suggestions about arranging furniture.

Tracy provided me with valuable direction in how to think about colors, fabrics, etc. Due to changes in my budget ability, it turned out I could not do a full project with Tracy. However, just the initial guidance she gave me made it possible to make many solid furniture, fabric and rug choices, and I'm happy with the results."

Description of Work: We got a special offer for a 2-hour consultation with Tracy for $130. We gave this to a friend who just recently moved to a new house. She found Tracy's advice very useful and ended with a clear vision of what she needed to do to pull her house together into a coherent design. |We had a little bit of a difficult time getting in touch with Tracy at the beginning (her assistant was on vacation) and then she called us several times thinking that we don't have anything scheduled yet - that's why I gave her B's on responsiveness and professionalism. That said, what mattered the most was great - helpful advice!

She came back to help with rearranging furniture, bookcases, etc. She also helped me move some stuff from the basement out to the garage. She hired a handyman to help who was great. She called a junk hauling company who got rid of the stuff.

Description of Work: Tracey was lovely and she spend time going through the house giving suggestions on furniture, rugs and paint. It was a great experience. I had never had a design consultant come in and help me. It was great.

Description of Work: We met for a consult for picking paint colors for my Kitchen, Living and dining room. She also made suggestions for my bathroom. She was very good at listening to get an idea of my tastes. I would definately use her services again.

Description of Work: Purchased this as a Big Deal back in April. This company takes a long time to respond to emails. I was having my home worked on and needed paint color and window treatment advice. Took so long I choose everything myself. I was tired of the long response time so I asked for a refund and the company never responded at all. I took this as a lesson learned. Will not purchase through Angie's list again and have terminated my subscription.
