Description of Work: I needed a home decor refresh, and the service was perfect. She showed up, took a little time to look around the two rooms I needed help with, and then immediately made improvements. It always amazes me when someone can move a piece of art and just with that one simple step make the entire room look better! A very talented designer/decorator.

Description of Work: I purchased a Kitchen Consultation with 3-D renderings from the Angie's List Deals. The designer did come out and visit our house, measured the space, and spoke to us about our likes and dislikes. After the meeting there was no follow up and no renderings were ever presented. After attempts to follow up and get the renderings the designer has stopped answering emails, and did not respond to a request for a refund.

Description of Work: Suggestions were made regarding redecorating plans which were very useful |and save unnecessary expenses. Helpful in using what I had in my home and items I should consider retiring. Also suggestions made in staging my home when the time comes to sell. Definitely worth the time and the promotion was a reasonable cost to have many my many decorating questions answered.

Description of Work: We really liked the design ideas on how to set up the room, furniture suggestions, and removal of trim. However, costs and expectations were not always aligned, leading to a few minor items left in a less polished state than we preferred. She was also consistently late for scheduled appointments... difficult for two working parents with tight logistics.

The consultant met with us on June 10, 2015, collected measurements of our bathroom, and promised to deliver a set of 3-D renderings. | |After several emails back and forth and a telephone call, the consultant again promised to deliver the drawings. Description of Work: I purchased the big deal for 3-D renderings of one room for 99$. Tracy Mullane was relatively responsive to schedule the initial appointment. We both had to reschedule once, but she was only an hour or so late to the appointment. It was no big deal since we were home working on the house the entire day. Once she was there, the experience was fine. She took us through a boiler plate worksheet of things to consider when remodeling a kitchen. However, she was not overly interested in hearing our input and really focused on showing us pictures of other houses in affluent neighborhoods that she had "done." At any rate, what was promised and what we really wanted were the 3-D renderings of a remodeled kitchen. We weren't really going to do anything with our kitchen for a while so the week or two that Tracy told us was no real big deal. Now it is two months later and neither my three phone messages or email has been returned. Essentially, we paid 99$ for nothing. I do not recommend anyone ever use this company for anything. Not being at all timely in delivering the promised service I can live with, but refusing to communicate is inexcusable. Horrendous.

Description of Work: Work promised was drawings for kitchen remodel. She was punctual for the appointment to make measurements, suggest ideas for the kitchen. But we have not heard from her since, have not received any drawings, and have been unable to reach her.

 + 0 moreMoore Home Staging came in and quickly audited our entire premises. We were impressed with the details that were noticed during the visit. The report was received in just days! When we began to implement recommendations there was a follow up visit that we thought was above and beyond what we expected. The comments now being received from buyers tells us we did the right thing in using Moore Home Services! Worth the wait to get our 1st appointment!
Description of Work: Moore Home Staging helped us blend some interesting problems into new creations at our home. We had planned on staying at our residence indefinitely, but circumstances changed, and we needed to update to be able to sell our home. Tracy gave us a detailed staging report. Then she had some great ideas and managed our project, and brought the different people in who worked their magic. Tracy apparently knows other folks here on Angie's who do great work, and she also helped us get the best estimates.We had a terrible problem with a pink carpet throughout the house, and Tracy used the color to our advantage by using a great complimentary tan color that makes it look fantastic! Also bringing in accessories and contrasting furnishings helped, and the house looks great! We got a jump start on fixing the problems before we sell, so now I'm confident that when we get our house on the market, it will go fast. In the meantime, we are enjoying our new surroundings. We feel Moore's helped us save time and money, so I definitely recommend the services!

Description of Work: I felf I gave money away. Her color pallet was not my choice. I tried to explain the style I wanted but she have a vision all her own. She wanted to tour my entire home, which I felt was unprofessional if she was only suppose to decoreate my family, living room and kitchen. She asked to many personal questions that where unrelated to her services. I would not use her services and caution folks in my network to consult her services. I do not recommend her for interior design.

The painting job was finished yesterday and I am very happy with the results. The colors are coordinated perfectly. The painter even commented how impressed he was by the color selection and he works with other interior designers/stagers in the area.

I never expected that paint could make such a huge difference. I am confident the value of my home increased because of this work. Tracy has an eye for color and her talent is obvious. I highly recommend Moore Home Staging and Design.
Description of Work: Tracy from Moore Home Staging and Design advised me on colors for my open concept living room and dining room. The walls were linen white, with white woodwork. Tracy spent two hours showing me colors and helping me make a choice. In addition to picking out the colors with me, the painter she works with gave me an estimate for painting. They were prompt, professional, and listened closely to my preferences about color.

I was very impressed with her knowledge and in actually seeing how the samples worked on my rooms. We made plans for another visit in better daylight and painting estimates.

 + 1 moreWe hired Moore Home Staging to help get our house sold, and they assured us they could help even during the holidays. We actually expected things to be slow for a while, because of the holidays. We had the house on the market before, about a year and a half ago, and nothing happened, very slow. After Moore's came in we had non-stop traffic, probably because the pictures looked completely different on the MLS. The realtor had lots of open houses and we kept getting 15 to 20 people show up there. We got an offer from actually the first open house, but it was too low, so the realtor kept showing the house. After about a week, the people came up on the offer, and we accepted it. The house actually had a lot of wasted space in it and it was an old style. That was the problem, according to Tracy. When she staged it, it made all that space look usable, and it made sense and seemed to add additional rooms to the house. Also the painting and cleaning were very good, they made recommendations for outside, and they left things behind so we could use them to keep everything shiny, and hide little scratches here and there. I was very impressed and didn't know what a huge difference it would make in how great the house looked. We got the price we wanted, even though the realtor advised us to lower the price before it was staged. I would definitely use Moore Home Staging again if we needed to sell our place. We are thinking about having them back for some decorating advice for our new place.
