Maison Maids

I had high hopes for this company. They were very responsive and professional on their initial visit to evaluate our home and cleaning needs. Rute (owner) and Rachel (manager) were ones to come to my house and evaluate to give a quote. They had a team come out initially for our first deep clean (Rute came as well) and worked very hard to accomplish all that was needed but could not finish within the timeframe that they were here. They also left wet rags in our washer (without telling us they were left), pushed items on shelves in refrigerator to the back but didn't even clean the shelves (this made no sense to us). Their second visit had a different team here to clean and several things were left half done, or not done at all. Bathroom mirrors uncleaned, vacuum and attachments left in middle of floor, items needed to be done from first visit still not done. Cabinets never wiped down, baseboards still in need of cleaning. Sheets left in wash without notice to us, luckily I found them after a couple of days. The third time they cleaned they sent yet another team, making it virtually impossible for them to get familiar with our house/needs. This time they set a bottle or something down on carpet leaving discolored spots. Again things were left sitting out and I reported this to the office. I didn't receive any response until they notified me 4 or 5 days later about my upcoming appointment. When I asked about it I was told Rachel was no longer with the company (yet I continued to get text messages from her) and a request to resend my message about damaged carpet. Luana, person responding at this point, advised me that the "girls" didn't use bleach and took no cleaner into my bathroom as it was pretty clean. Who doesn't use cleaner in a bathroom??? Especially in a toilet? They denied damaging the carpet, so I advised them we no longer wanted their services. I left several messages for the owner, Rute, to contact me as I felt she should be aware of what was happening. I was told by Rachel several times that Rute wasn't contacting me due to communication issue (english/spanish) which seemed odd to me. I did receive a phone call from Rute 2 MONTHS after the event to which she said "Rachel said you wanted me to call you" to which I replied "not anymore". Such a disappointment. Rute seemed, in the beginning, to care a great deal about the job that her crew was doing and customer satisfaction. In the end there were just a bunch of excuses that made no sense.
