Description of Work: Jeff was hired to create a custom bathroom vanity. He was paid in advanced in December and never returned a call to update us on delivery. When the cabinet was finally ready months later it was the wrong wood, color and style. He said he would correct the problem, but reneged. His work and his word are worthless. I will now have to sue him to recover my money. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of him and Important Cabinets!

Description of Work: Either these people cannot handle the current workload for new business or they just didn't want my business. I met them at the Home Show in WPB and one of their guys kept calling me to setup an appointment. But each time I returned the call, I got no reply. I finally spoke to someone (Jim) and committed to a day off from work to go to their showroom. I show up and Jim was out on a cruise vacation! And he did not put my name on any list for someone else to follow up with me. |I decided to give them one more chance and sent an email to the owner (Jeff) with a drawing of my kitchen and called again. Jim answered the phone and told me that he and Jeff the owner were just reviewing my schematics and plan to schedule time to come to my home to measure and get me a quote for kitchen cabinets. AGAIN SILENCE after that call. I gave up! I wouldn't even trust them at this stage if they begged me for my business. While they deserve an F, I gave a D for overall since Jim was "polite" when we spoke on the phone. Other than that, a major disappointment.

+ -1 moreJeff @ JMS building and Design is terriffic. As an overall experience JMS gave us an amazing price for our kitchen cabinets and installed them far beyond our expectations. Jeff @ JMS promptly came to our home and assessed our situation, and helped us design our new kitchen from the ground up. JMS has a huge selection of cabinets, bigger than any other company I have ever seen. After we finally decided on what cabinets we wanted, JMS had them ordered and ready to install within two weeks, which was important to us because we were leaving to move back to New York and our deadline was tight. JMS's crew came and ripped out our old kitchen, installed the new one within a two week period, and for the money, we were in disbelief. I am surprised that we are the first ones posting on this forum about them, because they are the best kept secret I know of. We are picky when it comes to our investments, and JMS came back after the project was completed and fixed any small details that we wanted changed free of charge. JMS's crew was really professional and friendly, and did an amazing job, and we are planning on using them for our home in New York, when we are ready to remodel there as well. JMS will beat any quote that is given to them by competitors, and really have the lowest prices I have ever seen. This kitchen that was done for us would easily cost $30,000 in New York, and we paid under $4,000 for it in Florida. What a steal! We cant thank them enough!
