I very, very rarely see any roaches (once in a great while -- after all, this is Florida). Have used this company for years. Very pleased.

Extremely well. They were polite, and seemed to be very careful applying the treatment. All went well. It has been a week, and almost all the weeds are gone although I still have some weeds. Maybe they will also die. I can tell you that there were so many weeds that a lot of the areas are now brown and dirt but I am confident that the grass will spread and fill in the areas. Hometown said to be sure to call them back in 2 weeks if the is still any weeds remaining and they will come back out (of course, free of any charge).

They provide monthly in-house services and respond quickly to problems.

Hometown pest control came out on time and resolved our nasty roach problem! The technician was courteous and very attentive in spraying in every nook and cranny. He also sprayed in the attic and crawl spaces for a minor silver fish problem. We have not had anymore pest issues since their visit!

I'm very frustrated. Someone came out on 10/24/16 to quote me on pest control for a really bad ant problem in a bathroom of our new house. He stated for the maxforce visits it would be $70 that day and $30 every following visit. He said they had a special to pay over $200 and it would cover x amount of months. He said the problem would not start to get under control until about 3 months and we will need monthly services at which point I CALLED MY SPOUSE IN FRONT OF HIM, DISCUSSED THE OPTION AND WE AGREED TO ONLY PAY THAT DAY $70 AND WE WOULD CALL THEM IF WE WANTED THEIR SERVICES. The pest control guy said ok but "I just need to sign the receipt and I would not be offered the special price in the future." I looked at him in the face and said "This is not a contract right? because I'm only paying for today and I'll call you if I want you guys to come back." He said "nah, nah it's just a receipt." That day I went on amazon and bought the maxforce granules $13 and my husband did our pest control on that weekend. The problem was COMPLETELY RESOLVED WITHIN A WEEK! A month later out of nowhere I open my front door and there is a $30 service bill! I was home working all day and they apparently came to the house did not even knock on the door and then left a bill! 😡😡😡 I called twice with no response. Then I get a voicemail for a callback on the weekend but I get a voicemail when I call back. THEN I GET ANOTHER BILL THAT WEEK!!!! I just called and the phone number is disconnected! Rodney the inspector was great! Thorough and showed us the problem areas where he found termite evidence. Have used them twice for inspections so far

I called and Rodney came out the next day and was right on time. Rodney was a great guy a very knowledgeable. I thought I had termites eating my tiki hut but it turns out it was just wood rot with some ants eating the rotten wood. The inspection was free but I will definitely be calling them if I ever have any pest control needs.

Hometown was great, very busy people but they came out as promised and applied the application as they promised It went very well fantastic. Adele was awesome!

I recently hired HPC to do some work on my property. After getting multiple bids for termite treatments they seemed to have the best balance of price, quality, reputation and the ability to speak English intelligibly. In the back of my home I have a concrete slab pool area with pavers on top, and a screen enclosure wrapping everything shut. Not to mention 5 termite infested trees on one side of the house. First I had to do some prep work (trim back trees, lift some pavers, pull back screens) and then HPC tented and perimeter treated my home. Then they cleaned up the messes they made. The FIRST AND ONLY vendor I have ever hired who made a mess and cleaned it up on their dime. And who I would not hesitate to rehire or recommend. I worked with a total of 5 vendors to do the prep work, tenting and cleanup afterwards. Every one of them somehow screwed up, including HPC. Every vendor EXCEPT for HPC, tried to walk away from the job leaving it incomplete, or downright claiming they weren't responsible. HPC was different, from the start. After the first issue was raised, the immediate response was: "We'll take care of that, no problem. Don't you worry about it." And they meant it. Don't get me wrong, I've had vendors try to snow me, and then straighten up when I mentioned I was Angies List-- but I didn't even need to bring it up to these guys. So what happened? The perimeter treatment consists of digging a perimeter around the house and injecting some kind of chemical that the termites don't care for into those holes. On the areas that have concrete slab or pavers, they have to drill holes, which I didn't care for. So in my rear patio, I lifted pavers every 12 inches, as instructed, so I could hide the holes in the patio with the pavers after they were done. Well, the kid that drilled couldn't get to certain area because of a pass-through kitchen counter, so he took it upon himself to drill new holes right through my pavers, rather than consulting with me-- because I was home when he did it, and he was given very specific instructions to do so. Now I get to look at those holes for the rest of my days. Minus 1 letter grade (down to a B). As he continued working through the patio, he mixed up the pavers and pulled them out of sequence which required some extra work later, but no biggie. I just didn't appreciate the fact that he didn't leave things the way he found them. Moving on, this same young man kept on drilling, and managed to hit my pool pipe under the concrete, which I am sure created a water mess immediately, but again, was not reported to me immediately. Minus another letter grade (down to a C). It wasn't his fault for hitting the pipe-- the previous owners obviously hired incompetents to have the pool lines buried where they were. It was, however, his fault for not telling me immediately what had happened. So we ended up leaving just after he hit the pipe because they were coming to put the tent on the house. I came back the next day (after the tent was on) to walk around the house and make sure everything was secure, and I came upon a huge puddle of water near the drilled pipe and a pool that had dropped about 25% below it's normal level. I stopped the pool pump (which was sucking on nothing) and called Rod (the sales guy). He met up with me about an hour later, surveyed everything and said, "Don't worry, we'll fix it." Right on. And that is exactly what they did. The fix was not easy either. Long story short, they had to break through part of the concrete slab, dig out the drilled section of pipe and replace. Then rebury everything, put new concrete down, and then lay the pavers over that. Not to mention to repair the screen sections over the concrete and pavers. This was not an easy ordeal and I have been working with them for 2 months on getting this right. Along the way they busted my mailbox and fixed that too (it looks better than the original installation too!). At one point, they sent out a field supervisor to assess the whole situation and to understand exactly how I wanted things done. To say that these guys bent over backwards for me to do the right thing, is an understatement. I am a hardass and demand top quality. I do a lot of the work on my home because nobody will do it at the level of quality that I want-- except for these guys. That they immediately offered to fix it, without me even asking-- +1 letter grade up to a B. That they have persistently followed up with me even when I stopped responding due to being busy with work/life-- +1 letter grade up to an A. Proactively sending management out to assess the situation and gain a complete understanding of my wishes-- above and beyond what Angie's List allows in ratings: EXCEPTIONAL. That last part is why I forgive the 3 holes I now get to look at on my pavers near the kitchen counter. I'm usually in the pool anyway. You can hire and trust Hometown. Just clearly communicate your needs and expectations to these folks and they handle their business. Kudos to Rod for staying friendly when I was ******. Kudos to Rick for taking the time to understand what I wanted. Kudos to Daniel for persistently calling and emailing when I was unresponsive-- I was the cause of the delays and he is the reason things kept moving forward. And finally kudos to Tommy. This guy worked hard to do things right, the way I wanted it done. He was professional all the way through it. This is the company you want to do business with. The results speak for themselves.

85% gone. Coming back to stay again. They were knowledgeable and said they would be at my home within a certain time frame and we're true to there word.

I'm not sure it worked out very well. We still had some bugs - we have a Roman Tub but we don't go there very often and I found some bugs at the bottom of that. But I can't determine exactly the date that I found the bug and since it was only a 30-Day guarantee, so I could not bring it to their attention.

Very well. On time, courteous, and efficient. But, we there were still some mosquitoes afterwards so that is why I didn't rate them higher.

FIRST TIME OUT OF APPRX 10 SERVICE CALLS WAS OK. I HAD SIGNED A YEARLY CONTRACT TO GET A GOOD PRICE., $250. BEGINING 12/2015 ENDING NOV 2016. I CALLED THEM IN JULY & CANCELED THEI SERVICE 4 MONTHS EARLY. THE REASON FOR CANCELING WAS THEY COULD NOT STOP A SIMPLE ANT PROBLEM. THERE WERE AT LEAST 3-4 OCCASIONS WHEN I HAD TO CALL THEM FOR REPEAT SPRAYING. NOT THAT BEING BAD ENOUGH, EA TIME MEANT I HAD TO WAIT FOR THEIR WINDOW OS SERVICE, MEANING I HAD TO SET ASIDE 3 HOURS OUT OF MY DAY DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE. I CALLED DIEGO AT HOMETOWN & ASKED NICELY FOR A REFUND IN 2 WEEKS, WHICH HE AGREED TO. 4 MONTHS REMAINING ON MY CONTRACT @ $83.33. TWO WEEKS WENT BY & CALLED & WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR THE LONGEST PERIOD OF TIME WHEN DIEGO PICKED UP THE PHONE & SAID HE WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE ELSE & HUNG UP ON ME. I CALLED BACK & THE LADY SAID THEY WILL CALL BACK. I'VE BEEN MORE THAN PATIENT SO I WILL ASK ANGIES LIST FOR ASSISTANCE.

What a professional, kind and informative service man Fabio is. He took the time to explain all about my situation and although not the first exterminator I called he is the only one I will use in the future. I called for an appointment and was able to get one right away. I spent a lot more money elsewhere and received no satisfaction but today I feel confident my problem has been taken care of. He did not push any services on me and I feel the amount charged was more than fair. Do not be skeptical of thiss company, they are fabulous.

Hometown has been our pest control service since we moved into our home just over a year ago. Very happy with the service overall, and have to give special recognition to our regular service technician, Junior. Junior is knowledgeable and professional, as well as friendly. (Our dog loves him!) He remembers the little things about our house from month-to-month (like which room to skip when my college-aged son is home and sleeping late), as well as remembering any pest problems our home has had in the past. Today when I asked him about a problem I was having with pavement ants in the driveway, he told me the previous homeowner had the same issues. Junior is a great representative for your company, and we are happy to have him as our service provider!

If I have problems they will put poison out for the "pest". Come to think of it, I haven't had any specific "pests" in a long time, thankfully, just the gnats. I have been using Hometown Pest Control for approximately 16 years, previous, my parents used them for approximately 20+ years. We've never had a problem, one call and they'll come asap, if you have a problem after or before your scheduled monthly date, They rarely are late, Ive lucked out by getting the same person every month, and its nice to have the same person in and out in 10 min or less.. Getting 2 months free, if signing up by the year, is pretty reasonable compared to several other companies.

We pay $216 a year for quarterly maintenance.
