I purchased a one time service for general pest control for my mother's home in Fort Lauderdale. She was having alot of ants and other wierd bugs in her house. The tech called me on the way to let me know he was coming and he showed up right on schedule. He also explained how the company works and what was included in the package and what he would do right from the beginning. In addition, he went into the attic, on top of the roof, inspected all around the outside and on the inside to make sure there were no additional problems. He did find termites in the baseboards in my mother's closet and he let us know what options we had to treat for the termites. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what type of termites they were. This is the first time I have used this company before and I have to say I have never been so satisfied with my purchase. They were absolutely fantastic. They will be back next week for a follow up to make sure the chemicals are working properly, but so far we haven't seen any more ants or bugs!!! I will recommend Hometown Pest Control to all my friends and family.

Paid for a one time extermination because we had noticed a swarm of flying ants that would shed their wings in our kitchen.exterminator sprayed the perimeter of the house but could not identify the sample of the bugs which we had collected in a medicine bottle. He did promise to show the sample to his boss to allay or confirm our fears that we had termites. We waited a week with no response. We called, got a brush off, and assumed that they were probably just carpenter ants or the boss would have called to sell us a fix. Long story short, six months later same swarm with tell tale signs of coffee grind like excrement collecting next to the baseboards and a competent evaluation from a reputable company we now need our house tented.

Great job. Two workers sprayed my condo unit inside and outside. Checked my attic and sprayed up there. Very professional and friendly.

The first year's service was wonderful but after the first year, the quality of service plummeted. Technicians were often late, would not call to advise of delay, different techs would appear even after I had requested for one specific tech. One time no one showed up. Had monthly conversations with main office about different concerns and the next month there'd be a problem once again. The problems never seemed to end. We finally decided to terminate our contract.

when he perform the service, he told me i bought follow up treatment and this types of cockroaches not included...

Our ant problem went away within a week or two. The ants have not returned!

tech did not seem to do a through job

It went very well. Cicero in particular was a pleasure to work with. They set traps in more opportune places than I had set and removed rats quickly. They also sealed off any and all potential entryways throughout the entire two story house. We'd definitely use their services again.

Extremely professional, prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. They showed up as scheduled and did a very thorough job of spraying both inside and outside the house. They also baited kitchen drawers and under the sink. The following week I saw a few more roaches running around and when I called them about the problem, they came out right away and sprayed again. I have not seen any pests since!!!

The price is really reasonable, and they give a discount when you pay annually (which is what we have done). They spray inside and outside the house for pests, and they do knockdowns and take down any outside spider webs. They have done extra projects in the past where they put some chemical powder in our attic to combat the pests that can live up there. This we've had to pay extra for. They've also done a similar lawn spray service, which we've had to pay extra for as well. They always do great work, and I would highly recommend them. They're very courteous, and you can tell that they're very customer oriented when you call. I've had to change the day they come out on short notice a few times, and they're always able to accommodate me.

Not as expected. Thought the chemical would be strong enough to kill fire ants but now o ya w to do it myself

The service tech was amazing- his name was Thiago. I have major anxiety when it comes to these issues, and dealing with contractors from out of state, but this company is SOLID. They converted my package from the one I bought (which didn't cover german cockroaches) and have begun treating my problem. I wish more companies in South Florida were like this one. Thank you.

Excellent. Extremely professional and thorough inspection - unlike any exterminator we have every worked with. Promptly treated and solved the problem, and saved us the expense and hassle of having to fumigate tent our rental property. Their price was very fair. We will definitely use them again.

They are my pest control company. I have been using them for the past 3 years. They are fine. They have worked out fine so far. There is no cost. It is part of a yearly service. I have a contract with them. They are good. They do what they say they are going to do. The workers are fine. They are good to. Everybody is good. I like them.

They worked out great. They done good. We had a few minor issues from the beginning, but they ironed it out such as they tried to bill me. The office and the tech wasn't on the same page. The office knew that I already paid Angie's List, but the tech was running through his job and billed me, but we got that all ironed out and they done an excellent job. Everything was great. The work turned out good. The tech that came in was real courteous. It was the same tech every time. He came in and done his job. He was very polite and professional. He done exactly what he needed to do and went on to his next job. He was only here 15 minutes each time. In a whole year, I seen him for about an hour in a year. The price was fair. Everybody is running about the same price. They done everything that we asked them to do. The only reason I didn't sign up again is just cause I am not going to be in this house for an entire year and that's the only reason I didn't sign up again.

The technician was prompt and very professional. He performed the services that I paid for and explained the future services. He sprayed the hous inside and out and also sorayed the lawn and trees.$279 for four visits.

I've been using them 100 years. They are very responsive, if I see something I do not like, they are here. Very prompt, they give you a one hour window. They come and take their shoes off, they don't walk around in my house with their shoes on. They're great and the workers are wonderful. Always once person outside and one inside doing the work.

It went great. Tiago came out and did a complete inspection. He then laid out how he would take care of the problem which included covering vents, crawl space entrances, and attic vents. It also included bait stations that would be monitored monthly. Lastly, traps were set in the attic. Tiago returned every two days for a week to check the traps. After catching no rats in that time, he removed the traps. Tiago was punctual and professional in every respect.
