Home Angels

The Home Angels handled the whole restoration, including dealing with the insurance. They knocked down the walls that were damaged, sealed the area and dried it with machines, and then sealed it back up. They were punctual, professional and great to work with. Will definitely use them again if needed.

From the very first meeting with our job supervisor, Frankie Soriano, we felt confident that this was the company we needed to navigate through this unknown world of insurance and reconstruction. During the several weeks of work, we met many of the Home Angel's crew (plumbers, drywall experts, painters, etc) and every one of them was kind, compassionate, and professional. The work was always done to perfection and completed on the original time schedule set up for us by Frankie. Every phone call or text was answered promptly. The communication from beginning to end was excellent. Each member of the team truly understood the emotional difficulty of our situation and treated us with tremendous respect and care. In actuality my husband and I looked forward to whoever came to our condo because they were all so pleasant and there were many funny, light hearted moments. I believe this company has worked hard to develop the right approach to dealing with people who are going through such a traumatic and displacing event. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is faced with the daunting experience of both mold remediation and subsequent rebuild of their home, condo or apartment. They surely can't be beat for professionalism and caring!

They did the inspection and they wanted quite a lot of money to remediate the mold. I did it locally for a fraction of the price.

Excellent. Technician was very thorough investigating possible causes of the carpet damage. Spent 45 minutes with us and only charged us $45. Was very considerate and honest.

Nothing much was done. Basically did a visual check for mold. I was expecting more based on the advertisement. Probably my error for not asking before purchasing.

I had a flood from a broken connection under my kitchen sink. I woke up to water all through my house. I called Home Angels and they were there within an hour. They quickly started removing water then placed dehumidifiers and fans all over the house. It took 5 days to thoroughly dry out the house. They also removed and hauled away the ruined carpet. Their quick action saved most of my furniture. They were very professional and were there daily to measure moisture and remove equipment as the rooms dried. They were professional and courteous at all times and the workers were great and did better than I expected in trying to keep the areas neat.

It went fine. The response time to obtain the report was longer than I expected.

The team was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. They dealt with insurance company to handle all paperwork and claim resolution. It was a very seamless process and made the situation less stressful than it could have been. The bathroom was gutted and renovated. As with any construction project there are always a few issues, but the team always addressed any problems that came up immediately. After completion of master bath project we used them for a total renovation of guest bathroom. The work was completed in under two weeks and looks great. They are very accessible and are available to answer any questions or concerns throughout the entire process. It's very comforting to know you are using a group that is professional, personable and reliable. With so many horror stories out there of disappearing contractors (after money exchanges hands) it was great to know these guys would complete the job start to finish and be in communication throughout the process. Their price may be a little higher than some, but totally worth it to know work is going to be done to your satisfaction.

The Angels were just wonderful! They came in and took charge. Completely organized before the work was even started they gave me a schedule so I would know what to expect. With a large job like mine we had so many different contractors coming and going, plumbers, demolition crew, tile setters, A/C cleaners and the city inspectors the Home Angels had everyone working like a ballet. the companies they used were some of the nicest and most professional I have ever worked with! I will recommend them to everyone I know and I would never consider using anyone else. The finished job which included sub-floor repair, replace tile, rebuild my bathroom, clean and reset my A/C unit and plenty of drywall replacement. They also sent in cleaners after the work was done to mop vacuum and dust! They made a terrible circumstance so much better! And the office manager was so wonderful anything that I forgot she was right there with the answers!

There was a major leak from the overflow drain in my guest bathroom that seeped under the bathtub and under the floor in my guest bedroom. I called HOME ANGELS, and they were at my home within the hour. It took an hour or so to detect where the leak originated, but it was detected. Their crew was at my home several hours later. They tested the walls and the floors for water damage and mold. Dryers and dehumidifiers were set up in the 3 affected rooms - the bathroom, the guest bedroom, and the den (as the rear of the bathtub is behind a wall in the closet in the den). One of the HOME ANGELS returned to my home for the next 4 days to test how the rooms were drying out. Next, they sent a mold inspector over and it was determined that indeed, there was mold. The next process was to remove the affected sheet rock and the laminate flooring and seal up the rooms. This was not fun, but necessary. And, I told the HOME ANGELS that my children and grandchildren would be coming to visit in 2 weeks. They promised they would do their best. And, they did their best! After the air was certified clear, they got to work putting my house back together. YES! They completed the job the day before my family arrived. I am eternally grateful to the HOME ANGELS. I would recommend HOME ANGELS to anyone who suffers from house shock like I did. They were professional, kind, concerned, interested - and I knew that they had my best interests at heart. They are wonderful.

On January 4th ,2015 , we detected the wall paper to start to peel off in the master bathroom . we found the wall has wet and decided to call a plumber. He suggested to contact Home Angels since there was evidence of mold. The same day Justin from Home Angels came and brought several dryers. The water leak was from the toilet seal and later found out that several walls and below the concrete floor were affected and needed to dry out. it took about ten days to complete dry out the area. Then a few more days to remove the mold,. At the same time time Pete Forte the general contractor of Home Angels helped us to work directly with the insurance company. So far the insurance company has been very receptive but still a s very stressful situation. It has taken several weeks for the renovation job to be completed Home Angels a sa turn key contractor has been great. All the workers were considerate and fairly good workmanship

After the initial contact, they responded within 24 hours. I was pretty pleased with them. They did a good job. The guy who came over was pretty responsive. He asked questions that I thought was appropriate. He did some inspection and testing and basically came back with an all clear. He stuck with the price and told me that it is an introductory price for new customers and he said that I don't need anything more than inspection. I was very happy with him. Generally I would say that they were very responsive in setting up the communication, setting up the appointment and confirming it and the technician who was sent out was very responsive to the concerns I had. They were really very attentive to the very reason that I called them up here. Pricing was very reasonable and he was very prompt. I was very impressed with his communication and presentation. I even got his card to have him back for other houses as well.

Home Angles was amazing. In August of 2014 we had sustained water damage as a result of a refrigerator ice make leak. Home Angles helped us locate the leak as well as provide water mitigation services during the month of August. Part of their services include helping homeowners deal with their insurance companies claim process. They were amazing in helping us through is ordeal. It is never easy to deal with any insurance agency and they made this process easy for us. Once we received a check from our insurance company Home Angles then started work on replacing our laminate floors as well as painting our walls. I was amazed at how much work was involved in the restoration process. Pete Forte, our project manager at Home Angles is truly an amazing person. He is very bright, hard working and energetic. He really helped my wife and I get through this 4-5 moth ordeal. I highly recommend Home Angles for anyone out there looking to repair their home as a result of water damage and especially if you are dealing with insurance companies.

I could hardly believe they didn't charge me for the inspection and wouldn't take a tip. It is hard to find anybody reputable these days that is willing to do anything for anyone without it costing them. That is showing the heart of this company and they are paying it forward. That was amazing to me. I am very impressed and pray their business continues to prosper.

Excellent. The technician did say that the $150.00 credit is for a repair of over 10 sq ft. and my area in question was barely 0.5 sq ft. (baseboard area) he inspected the area thoroughly plus a few other areas and stated that based on the area involved and my own comments regarding my "handyman experience" so far with the house, we decided that it would be more cost effective (as he stated that this was a weekend project of about 4/6 hours or less for the average homeowner) to do the repairs myself using the helpful suggestions and directions he gave me. Most of the materials in question I already had so it was no problem. total inspection time about 90 min. Thank you.

I have been living in Florida for less than 3 months and while removing wallpaper from our bathroom I found a little mold along the bottom near the floor. I panicked and researched on the internet that removing with bleach is not the way to go. My husband suggest finding someone from Angie's List since we had no contacts down here. I researched and found Home Angels, and everyone had good things to say about them. I called and Nick said he would come the next day. He arrived this morning, He had a cancellation so was able to come earlier than expected which I appreciated so I could get on with my day. He tested the wall and areas near it and thank goodness it turned out to be dry and nothing threatening, He metered around the room and everything looked good, to my relief. He answered questions we had, and educated us on mold. All I can say is what a nice guy. If I had to describe him in one word it would be "Honest". He didn't charge us which surprised me and when we tried to give him a tip he refused it. I hope I never have to call him again because nobody wants a mold situation, but I would not hesitate to recommend him. I feel you can trust what he is telling you and doesn't make more out of something than it really is to line his pockets. This is my second experience with Angie's List and I don't know what I would do without their recommendations. Home Angels gets a 5 star, A+ rating from me.

Justin came out with Frankie and they set up the Fans. They came to check on them and when it was dry they removed them. Very nice and very professional. Then we had Pete come out and explain everything the contracters and painters would do. Brittany in the office called us and told us if we need anything filled out for the insurance company she would help us. Pete also spoke to the adjuster all the time. He really stood up for us. They took care of everything. Pete said the insurance didnt pay us enough to cover everything so he got us more money to pay. The painters were great, They did an excellent job they were all neat and clean. Home angels stands up to thier name. They are all angels and did a great job. We would use them again. The technician arrived 10 minutes early which was a very good start. He took air quality samples and found the location of mold, that I suspected that I had. It was located around the air handler of my AC. He also took moisture readings by the kitchen and by the sliding doors out to the back yard, both of which were a concern. He provided an estimate of the cost to resolve the mold problems, which though expensive, was around the price I expected. Nick was very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this service.

All in all I was very relieved that it was not a significant leak. Nor did I need to replace the dishwasher. Everything was handled smoothly and as I new homeowner I am always interested in learning everything I can about how to fix things so I can handle them my self in the future. Both men were courteous and happy to let me watch and ask questions so I understand more about what to expect and how to check if I see what around any appliances in the future. Oh, another great thing was the owner is great with dogs. I have a very protective Australian Shepard that doesn't take to most people right away. However, in this case my dog was instantly attached to Nick and the only issue was that he wanted to play and would hardly let Nick work. For dog owners out there, I know you understand what a big plus it is to have a stranger in your house that your dog will accept enough to not constantly bark and let them get the job done. thanks, will call Home Angels again should something else come up.

When you have a serious leak or disaster in your home it can be very upsetting and stressful, the Home Angels team did everything in their power to help to alleviate the stress of the situation for me. From the moment they showed up at my house to the very end of construction the Home Angels were understanding, kind, and professional. With their assistance I was able to redesign my bathroom and I am ecstatic with my new bathroom and the final product. The whole team was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to everyone I know.
