He arrived very promptly and walked through my condo answering any questions I had and providing alot of feedback for me a well, I was concerned with certain upgrades I was considering and that I was indecisive as to whether it wa recommended to do. He was extremely helpful and patient regarding my concern and multiple inquiries. He returned my completed appraisal to me within his promised timeframe. Overall I was very pleased with his services.

The vendor assigned a resource working in our immediate area, Bruce Gubnitsky. The main provider, Fred, was very prompt and called the next day after I sent a request through Angie's List. He advised that Bruce would be calling, which he did, in the same prompt manner. Bruce called and set a date to conduct the inspection of the home for the appraisal, and Bruce showed up for the appointment at the time and date promised. A few days later, again as promised, I received the written appraisal.

Mr. Smith arrived on time at the site. He walked around the house and then walked through the house and inspected all of the rooms and garage. He took photographs of the interior and exterior and noted the condition of both. The property had a peculiar situation that impacted the appraisal and he had the experience to know how to deal with that. . He promptly answered all of my questions with clear explanations and was easy to communicate with. He was thorough, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The appraisal was ready ahead of the scheduled delivery date. We were very pleased with his service and I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone.

It worked out just fine. I don't know if the price was competitive because I don't know what anybody else charges. They were there when they were supposed to be.

Fred was polite, punctual, professional, and prepared. He initially gave me a two hour window for his arrival and said he would call the afternoon before, to narrow the timeframe. He did and he was even a few minutes early. He was friendly and polite and very informative about the current trends in the market. He was really fast with the final appraisal, and delivered it within the time frame he promised. He called to make sure I knew to look for it in email and further explained the factors that could influence the range of price, i.e. appeal, scarcity of other comparable homes in the area, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend him if you need an appraisal! I had an 'estimate' by a real estate professional in the area and her number was different from his by $150,000. Beware uninformed guesses! An impartial appraisal is far more likely to be accurate than a realtor's pie-in-the-sky guesstimate - remember the realtors just want your listing, and they'll say what they need to to get you to sign an exclusive listing agreement. It's worth the investment of a few hundred dollars to know where to price your home.

Kept appointment on time. Went over the house with me, photoing and measuring and remarking about it's particular assets in relation to a like kind home in my general area. Left and did a sales study of like homes in the area. Came back to me in a timely fashion, when he said he would, and discussed the reasons for his decision on the property value. I am satisfied with his explanation.

My date may be off, but previously I had called Mr. Smith to do an appraisal. The deal didn't work out and we had to cancel. He was very gracious and asked that we keep him in mind for the next time. We had a very last minute issue come up and needed him to go out literally the next day at a certain time AND return the appraisal very quickly. He not only did this, he called to explain the comp's, how he came up with his numbers and all the details we needed. Mr. Smith was very professional, very helpful and on a personal level understood where we were and did everything he could to help us out quickly and accurately. I would suggest to anyone needing an appraisal to give FTS Appraisals a call. The courtesy and professionalism are why I used Angie's List in the first place, and he exceeded our expectations. I called Fred to appraise my mother's apartment in a gated community in Boca Raton, FL. He set up a time within a day or two of my call, and arrived promptly. We discussed the purpose of the appraisal, and he was very personable as well as professional. It was quite obvious that he has been doing this a long time, and is very knowledgeable about real estate prices in the area. He charged $300, which is the going rate for this kind of work. He delivered his report via email the next day, and it was very thorough. In short, he produced what I needed very quickly.

He was very punctual. He was polite and personable. He asked pertainant questions and took photos of the house. He then told me when the appraisal would be ready and it was on that date. For my convenience, he emailed the results. I was very pleased and satisfied with the results. I highly recommend his services.

Fred returned my call the same day. Very professional, friendly, and punctual. An appointment was set for walk-through within the week. He prepared the appraisal in one day because we were meeting with the attorney 2 days later. We could not have asked for any better service. He e- mailed the appraisal to me the evening following the appointment date and called me to alert me to the e- mail.

Fred was quick to return mt call, and after a brief discussion, he quoted a price over the phone. He was responsive by phone or email. The appraisals were clear and thorough.
