Description of Work: Chuck did a great job. I had some issues and questions from when a different technician set up my computer a couple months prior. He corrected the problems he could, answered my questions and generally tweaked a few things. I would definitely ask for him specifically if/when I need further assistance.

Very courteous and professional as well as willing to explain the job as he was doing it. Job cost approximately $75, and I would hire them again.

Description of Work: I am not the sort of person who writes reviews often, but in this case I felt compelled to tell about the wondeful experience I had with Fast Teks. I have a new laptop (6 mos old). Worked just fine until 2 mos ago when it would start out fine and then slow down or freeze after 15-20 mins of use. I called the free tech support from the retailer (Costco), the free tech support from Toshiba (the mfg), and a recommended on-line service. All three checked to see if my computer had a virus and/or ran a PC diagnostic program and found nothing wrong... but the problem persisted. Then I called Fast Teks. I scheduled an appt within 2 hours of my call. The technician arrived on time, got right to work, and immediately discovered that a software program was eating up all the memory in my machine. He fixed the problem quickly and easily and I have had no more problems or issues since then. He also took the time and trouble to ask me if there was anything else he could do or any questions he could answer... and he did help me with a couple other minor issues. He charged me $96.85 and he was worth every penny. I will not use any service but Fast Teks... from my experience, they are the best!

Description of Work: Wireless network setup. Called Fast-teks to setup a wireless network in my home office. They connected my laptop, my printer and my smart phone to my wireless network and showed me how reset everything if I ever lost power.

+ -1 moreMy out-dated wireless network died, and I needed to get up and running ASAP. I contacted the company, and they were able to fit me in the same day. The tech showed up on time, and was done in two hours. The tech was efficient, professional customized the network to my needs. He even answered some non-networking related questions. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

+ -1 moreOut of the blue my wife's computer crashed, she was devastated at the thought that all her files and photos of our children and grandchild were lost. We're not the most tech savvy but thankfully our daughter had used Fast-Teks perviously and recommended them for their reliability, quick service and on-site repair. Having the work done in our home gave us the comfort and security that taking our system to other repairs centers do not offer. Our biggest fears being financial records falling into the wrong persons hands, this was no concern for us at all. The service man arrived dressed professionally, on time and ready to fix our problem. He was very efficient, set up the new system and removing from the old all needed files and yes the hundreds of photos. During the process the rep was more than happy to answer our many questions along the way.
