It was great. Derek cleans the vent from the dryer to the roof, including going on the roof and checking the vent cover etc. He is a complete professional and you can set your clock on him he's one time! I have used him twice so far. He is not the cheapest, but he is reasonable for the quality of his service. When you search on line his expertise and reliability is worth the few dollars more than the really lowest.

I have had my dryer vent cleaned by Derek in the past. When I used other services, I was not pleased in the methods used to clean my vent which goes practically two stories high. The job was done promptly, quickly, and professionally. I will definitely hire Dryer Specialist again.

Excellent JOB. I have not used the vent since the side of the house was repaired over a year ago and I could tell it I did not have proper air flow. Derek had a hard time getting the air flow and had to use special equipment he hasnt used in a long time. he did not charge me extra and pulled out some hardened lint. It took him over an hour but he got it done. He was very professional, courteous and I felt completely comfortable having him in the house. Its noce to be able to use my dryer properly again. He will also add me to his mailing list so I get reminders each year to have it done. Thank you angies list!! Why didnt I use you the time???

What was particularly impressive was that when the dryer stopped working, he came out free of charge to check and make sure there was nothing on the roof clogging the dryer. He was extremely professional, considerate, efficient and definitely cost-efficient.

Derek was amazing. He was punctual, pleasant and professional (the major 3 P's of service). He got in there and made sure all hoses were properly attached after he had to disconnect them to get into the vent. I would, and am, going to use this company again.

I hired this company to clean dryer vent. I explained the the dryer was not getting very hot. The dryer vent was vacuumed from first floor laundry room. Subsequent to the vent cleaning, the technician climbed up into the attic of the house. After a few minutes, he came down and told me it looked okay. I paid, and he left. My dryer wasn't noticeably warmer. I paid $126 for an appliance repair man to check out the dryer. He found the dryer to be just fine. He explained that the housing the vent pipe ties into at the roof can have either a screen or a flap. He suspected that either the screen was full of lint or the flap was sealed shut by lint. I hired a third technician to go back up into the attic. This technician disconnected the vent pipe (he is adamant it had never been disconnected previously) and found that there is a flap (not a screen) and that lint had sealed it shut. All he had to do was force the flap free with his hand! I paid another $50, but at least now my dryer is hot. I am not sure what the technician from Dryer Vent Specialists and More did in my attic, but he didn't check the full vent system,or even tell me to how it works and to hire some one else to check the screen/flap.

Due to the difficulties in accessing a built-in propane dryer, Derek had to go through the outside vent. He was very professional and took the time to explain all the steps that were taken in clearing the vent. My only issue, which is an extremely minor one, was that the hose was not replaced in its original spot. If you have vent issues, I would certainly recommend this company.

We had the dryer vents cleaned out and then it caught on fire. It didn't go over so well but it had nothing to do with them.

Not only did Dryer Vent Specialists clean and inspect the dryer vent, he checked the dryer too! Amazing! Also checked was the where the vent exits the house to make sure there was no obstructions that may cause an air flow problem. He didn't rush the job, but meticulously checked every possible reason for my dryer to not be working properly. This service I received was exemplary. I will absolutely make sure I pass along his company should any of my friends or neighbors need any work done like this.

The price was exceptionally good relative to other providers. My condo put "bird cages" on the outside of the dryer vents. The only down side was that the bird cage filled up with dirt during the course of the cleaning and I had to make other arrangements to clean it at additional expense.

Excellent job. Purchased deal from Angies List site. Derek arrived right on time and did an excellent job. Highly professional. Our appliance repair company recommended cleaning dryer vent as a way to maintain dryer and keep it running in top form. We had not cleaned vent in years and it was needed. Entire deal--price, professionalism, expertise, timeliness--was great.
