Their installers cracked two of the six windows that they were working on and badly scratched a third window. I called the same day and spoke to a gentleman named Mark who said he was the owner but would not give me his last name. He told me that he is not responsible for the cracks because "it was my glass and not his." I called PGT who recommended him and their Consumer Affairs Department called Mark and he told them that I was informed before they started that the windows had cracks in them and they would not be responsible. Obviously, if the windows had cracks in them, I would have replaced the glass rather than just having the gaskets around the windows replaced. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone unless it was someone who I did not like.

They were asked to change out the windows of a small condo in Ft. Lauderdale. The windows were special ordered, so that took some time. During installation they realized they had missed measuring a window. That happens, too, sometimes. However, they were asked to do minor other repairs and they agreed—new hot water heater, repaired leak in kitchen, take down a fan. None of this was done. They were asked to look at repairing a stain on the floor. A third party was called in. We got a price, then didn't hear anything for several weeks. When we finally asked what was happening, we were told that the installation of the last window had taken place more than a month before and that flooring was "on order." We canceled the order and made other arrangements. When we finally checked the condo, the window caulking was unprofessional. We had to ask three times for keys to be returned. All in all an expensive, unprofessional and poor quality experience.
