+ -1 moreMarc is a good guy from Brooklyn. He knows his stuff and he is punctual, focused and professional. He works efficiently and carefully, explains everything and cleans up nicely before he leaves. Wish I had found him when I first moved down here 12 years ago!
Description of Work: Marc corrected a couple of fairly serious mistakes made by a prior, careless electrician: double tapping and putting the surge protector after instead of before all the circuit breakers! my circuit box is now organized, logical and safe. He also fixed an outside outlet (that has never worked before) and installed a new outlet in a small hallway.

+ -1 moreSpoke with Marc, Wednesday afternoon. Made an appt for next day. He called, that he was running early, asked if it was okay to come early. (it was.) He gave me an estimate for the first item, the electrical outlet in the island, and did the work. He was quick, careful, extremely neat, and tested the outlet before proclaiming the job done. I was so pleased with the first outlet, that I asked him about the other items above. One of the outlets that needed to be replaced required a GFI because it was in the kitchen. He tested the bathroom outlets and they were OK. He explained that the breaker tripped because the outlets are on a 15 amp breaker and those appliances require more. He suggested using other outlets for vacuuming and a less powerful dryer. The breaker box had slots that needed covers, he covered them. Marc is the fifth person to do any electrical work for me in the 14 months that I have been in Florida. He is the only one I will have do any electric work again.
Description of Work: Needed a new outlet in island for a small freezer, but I liked the way he worked so much that I had a few other things done as well. He replaced the cover on the exterior outlet with one that covered the patio room outlet to accommodate an air conditioner. Some interior outlets in home were so worn that plugs kept falling out, needed replacement. Although the bathroom outlets were GFI, they blew the circuit breaker everytime a vacuum or hair dryer was uses on high. blew every time cleaners used vacuum.

He arrived when promised, and quickly re-replaced the ballasts, and he replaced my bulbs (which were also new, but we didn't want to take any chances).
Description of Work: Changed two ballasts and four fluorescent bulbs.

+ -1 moreMarc the owner explain what had to be done. Then explain the price for each of the projects he was going to do. He was very clean and he work performance was great also. I would use him again.
Description of Work: He installed 5 high hat lights in kitchen and installed 6 GFI out lets in kitchen. Also installed an out let for future micro wave. He also changed the switchs and outlets in two bathrooms. Also moved the electrical out for the dryer.

+ -1 moreI have been using this company for several months (I just moved to Florida in October). I had tried quite a few electricians and none have been as hardworking nor as nice as Mark. I was surprised that he wasn't on Angie's List. He definitely works with you and is very punctual. His prices are reasonable and if something goes wrong with his work, call him! He'll fix it! (Not that I've ever had to call him back to fix something he did, he just lets me know that if something ever does, he'll be there). He really is an excellent electrician and a wonderful human being.
Description of Work: Mark had to go over all the electrical work than an unlicensed contractor (that had been recommended by a friend) had done. Had to install and replace all GFI's in the home, install and wire a fan to the ceiling, check and rewire lights in bathroom (since lights did not turn on and "heating bulb" didn't work), checked the recessed lighting which contractor had done.
