Description of Work: Repaired broken tiles & rotten plywood

Description of Work: I called Bowers Roofing on 8/20/13 for an appt. and they advised that it would be a week before they could send anyone out. We scheduled the appt. for 8/27/13 at 2pm. A British fellow, Geoff Ward, called me the day before to reconfirm the 2pm appt. I took the afternoon of 8/27/13 off from work without pay to meet with this roofer. We live in South Broward County. At 1:45pm, Geoff called me to say that he was "stuck on a job site up in Palm Beach County", an hour's drive away, at the least, without traffic. I was not happy but asked him what time he wanted to change the appt. to. He said in two hours at 4pm and I told him that would be alright. I began to do some of my office work from home. At 3:40pm, I was on an important business call when my doorbell rang. I went to the door and it was Geoff from Bowers Roofing. I asked him if he could wait a few minutes since he was now early for his revised appt. He replied that he wanted to go up on the roof and have a look. I told him that would be fine. A few minutes later and now 3:50pm, I was still on my call and heard the door bell ring. I could not rush my client off the phone but went to my door within 5 minutes and found Geoff's card in the doorframe but no estimate. Geoff was gone but I called his cellphone and reached him right away. I started to tell Geoff that I had been on a call that I couldn't off and that this was still before his revised time but he shouted "I don't want to work with you" and immediately hung up the phone. Geoff obviously has no respect for anyone else's time or schedule but his own. Geoff obviously did not budget his time correctly on his earlier job site in Palm Beach nor did he respect anyone else's time. He further added insult to injury by his refusing to wait for me to get to the door when he came down from our roof. If he doesn't "want to work with me, then why did he bother to leave his card in the door prior to leaving? He was quite nasty about it. I called his company several times after this incident on both of their phone lines to discuss this matter with them but no one answered either line. It was before 5pm.

Description of Work: Needless to say, there are more than a few roofing companies in Palm Beach County. Bowers Roofing was referred to me by a family member who used them in an emergency roofing situation. In my case, it was no emergency, but you wouldn't know that with the quick response and scheduling of service when I contacted them. Bowers Roofing did an amazing job on my roof with professionalism and true craftsmanship. I would highly recommend Bowers Roofing to my family and friends alike. Thanks Randy!
