+ 2 moreThey work professionally and worked around my schedule also returned when the Gas company had problems with installing new pressure valve. The walked me through procedures and how it worked. Note: I attempted to have three other Generator companies come and give an estimate for installation of system and NOT ONE would come to determine what was needed or bid.
Description of Work: Ran Gas line from meter to generator location. Installation of 20KW Genrac generator and connect the electronic controls for automatic switch over when power fails.

+ 0 moreThe APS technician arrived on time, was very courteous, and performed the standard annual maintenance check which included changing the oil, checking the battery, and about 15 other things. I told him that I had to leave before he was finished, and he told me "no problem." He said he would close up the garage and clean up before he left. He did exactly what he said. I like that APS performs annual maintenance for $225 on my generator rather than semiannual maintenance for $400+ like most of the other local providers. "This Old House" recently featured a similar generator installation and said annual maintenance was usually adequate for good quality generators since they self-test themselves every week.

Description of Work: Service was extremely poor. No return calls,weeks of waiting , lost my part for a few days and said they would attempt to fix my generator part but eventually merely quoted a very high price for a replacement part quoted by someone at the location who was unfamiliar with my service request. Fortunately, I sought out another generator parts/service company and had a repair made for $20 versus Assurance's part quote of over $80 with install not included.

+ 0 moreTheir work was good and they had good professional people. I have no complaints with the installation. Later on I just felt like they took advantage of me and it was obvious they did. I just say that you'll have to get the contractual things in writing before you do anything with them. They were good in doing the work but I don't think I was treated fairly. Their quality was good and I don't have any complaints with that. They were little high on price.

+ 1 moreThey were pretty reasonable. When I called them they told me it was going to be $140 and when they gave me the bill it was $93. They changed the air filters and spark plug. I had contacted them regarding some roof work for my house. They said that they don't do that and one of the other services they provided was the generator service. I had them come out. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and when they said they were going to do it. I was pretty happy.
Description of Work: I had Assurance Power Systems come out and service the generator for me. They came about a week ago.
