I was in the Bahamas when my wife called to say the power was out. Our generator was running properly, but she smelled LP gas. She called APS and they were at our house within an hour. It turned out that the lightning that caused the power outage actually broke the control board on our tankless gas water heater and that was causing the gas smell. Since APS is also a licensed gas contractor, they were able to fix the problem even though it had nothing to do with the generator!

I was very pleased with this company from the beginning to the end. They aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them.

Responded to initial phone call; came by to inspect the non-functioning generator within 24 hours; did a complete workup; identified what would need to be done. On approval went ahead; ordered needed parts; installed them and got the generator running (for the first time in over 4 years); it now automatically starts itself every week (it hadn't done that since I had it installed over 4 years ago). Assurance Power Systems checks the system without my "bugging" them on schedule every 3 months. I am very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone having generator problems.

The natural gas pool heater installation APS did for us in January was the second time we'd done business with them. More than a year ago APS worked with Florida Power Utilities Company (FPUC) to get our gas line in and hook up our dryer and oven. We were happy then with their honesty, good service, responsiveness and overall professionalism and so asked them to hook up our new pool heater this year. We are very happy not only with the good job they did but also with the fact that they were able to get the heater up and running in time for our visiting relatives to enjoy it. We know we were a bit pushy about getting the heater in before our guests' arrival date, and APS was able to get it hooked up just in time, which is awesome. APS has also displayed an exceptionally high level of professionalism when dealing with the City of Boca in terms of getting permits and making sure that the work that is done passes all inspections, even if it meant redoing some of the installation. These are gas appliances we're talking about, and safety is a top priority. I'm not familiar with local building codes but I guess they are pretty complicated, and enforcement may depend upon an individual inspector's judgement or knowledge of the codes. For example, our pool heater was installed to replace an old one that had stood there for many decades, and therefore we asked that the new one be installed in the same location. The inspector initially failed the first installation because he said it was too close to one of our windows. APS moved the entire thing and reinstalled it a few inches further away from the window. They did not charge is any extra for that work. I am very impressed. I hope they were still able to make a profit on the job. Additionally, while their engineers were here they called in a gas leak on the meter to FPUC that we were not even aware of, which FPUC came out and fixed. (Thank you, Dan.) Tom, Charmin and Jessie did a great job of keeping us informed and answer all of our questions, and Dan and the other engineers did a wonderful job on the installations. I will be calling them again next year when we replace our hot water heater with an on-demand system.

APS arrived on time over several days as they had proposed. Did everything exactly as they had proposed. Restored sod so that everything looked as before. This was a large under talking that required coordination of individuals with various skills, and APS executed it perfectly and on time.

The person was professional and very well trained. He took the time to answer all my questions and shared a good deal of information about my machine.

Jarmain was polite, unobtrusive, efficient, courteous. Kept me fully informed re: work done. Kept site neat and clean when completed.

They were very persistent about getting the generator working properly. There was some rust on the outside of the generator and they were able replace the rusted piece with a new piece. They now come two to three times a year to perform maintenance on the generator. They are very professional and very friendly.

I signed a yearly contract for them to service it 2X a year which also gave me a discount on current service. Great deal.

They were very responsive. I felt that the quote was high because of the additions of my property. The placement of the propane tank was too far from the thing. I didn't use their service. I felt that they were responsive to me. They were good in that aspect. I didn't want to spend the money to do that. I think they're in the same ballpark as some of the other estimates. They came when they said. They followed-up because they had to work with the propane company to find out where they could place the tank. It just didn't work out because of the nature of my property and the distances that were involved. They had to dig up too much ground. I would recommend them. I think under different circumstances, I probably would have used them.

They were excellent. They did a super job. They were professional, followed up and they have been out here several times since then. It is a super company. They walked through the permit process and everything else. I could not beat them. Their price was very competitive. Their price did include the permits. I would use them again.

As part of the service contract the people did exactly what had to be done in a very courteous and professional manner.
