The worst part about dealing with them was they would never return our (several) phone calls questioning the service and amount charged. Custome service matters!

We have used them for several years and they do an excellent job. I am not sure on how much they charge.

I have used Air Ref for many years to maintain my central air conditioning unit. Actually, Air Ref purchased the company, and all its assets from Russell B. Jennings, the company that did the original installation. Air Ref even operated under both names for sometime. I had always had a warranty agreement from the manufacturer for parts, including an additional portion of labor that I extended, and paid for $750.00, that included additional years. From the beginning, it had always been a struggle with either the office staff, technicians, or the owner, Chris Ryan of Air Ref. Additionally, during every maintenance appointment, it was always something...then the next day...the system would stop, or even leak. I was always reluctant to make an appointment for anything, including maintenance, knowing that days later the system would most likely fail?and it usually did, in the middle of the night, and with a service charge attached. Of course, who wouldn't pay anything for service call, on a 90 degree summer night in Florida?I get that?it was after hours, but they ALWAYS wanted to blame the system, rather than the fact they were there just there the day before...wow what a coincidence...and NEVER once did they even apologize, it happened many times. I really could have used any company for service, but they had been maintaining my unit from the beginning, they had worked on the system for years, and the two companies had a relationship, so I thought it would be safe to stick with them. I stopped using Air Ref because they flat out said during the last maintenance, they would no longer honor the labor part of my warranty, even though I have a contract till 2017. The owner said that "it was my problem now", and to contact the previous owner, even though they had not charged me in the past for any warranty work...for years! I believe Air Ref is having a tuff time dealing with those contracts, and assets they purchased from the previous company, they even went to court over it?guess they didn't do there homework?and all over $50.00. They have always been inconsistent with their work, have unfriendly technicians, and have an extremely unprofessional OWNER. Save yourself the headache, and find another company!!

I feel that Air-Ref let me down.They are more interested in selling me a new unit during difficult economic times, than trying to help me with a short term repair.

Excellent service. Used Angie's List deal. Provider contacted promptly and was able to arrange date quickly. Employee that came out telephoned that morning to say he was on the way to me and job was done within the appointed time frame. John who came to do the job was very polite and courteous. Very happy with service.

Actual repair was great with no complaints.

Good product and good service...

Air-Ref salesperson was very courteous and professional. He was knowledgeable about the systems and put together a pricing sheet comparing the different SEER rated system and the rebates available for each. He was able to immediately schedule an installation date as they had the system in stock. The installation team and install manager arrived as scheduled and assessed the job at hand before starting. The installation when smoothly and the system was operating by the end of the day. A second team came a couple of days later to install additional return ducts. City inspection was arranged by Air-Ref and the installation manager was present during the inspection. The installation was approved on first inspection. The system has been operating flawlessly for two months.

Everything went very well. Excellent workers. They were punctual and on time.

Our sales rep. Mike Beemer spent 2 1/2 hours scoping out the work to be done. He looked at the outside unit, the inside unit, and all of the rooms to determine the returns as well as the vents that were already there. He listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions on how to attain and maintain the quality we were looking for. He was well prepared with his computer and printer and offered us several options to consider. These options were clearly defined on a well thought out format so that we were clearly able to see the difference of each unit discussed. Upon reviewing our options, we were able to call Mike to ask questions and he provided immediate responses to our inquiries. This professional service expedited our decision. Once we said yes, we'll go with your company, he did all of the set up work for our installation. We were provided with an exceptional installation team. They were courteous, clean and very informative. They made sure there were no questions unanswered about the new system and the new thermostat that went with the new unit. ( These new thermostats do everything but cook dinner)!! The second crew came out the next day to do the follow-up duct work and they too were very accommodating. All of the men were extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to be of service. Their workmanship was exemplary and I have to mention their sense of humor added enjoyment to this job well done.

I purchased a big deal for a one time tune up. It went excellent. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, on time and I will definitely use them again.

HVAC Tech arrived on time for our appt and got right to work. He conducted a full evaluation of our system and cleaned all necessary parts. I believe our tech was honest and efficient. I had a good experience and will use Air Ref again.

The replacement went fine. Tech showed up on time and was done in a couple of hours. The unit seems to work better than when it was new. Tech made sure the system worked correctly after installing the replacement part. Overall a good job.

The installers (2) arrived on time and were there practically all day. They explained everything they were going to do and got started. They were neat from beginning to end. When they were finished you would never know that work was being done all day. I was very pleased and would certainly recommend this company.

The company was very responsive, professional & thorough - highly recommend them! We left a message over the weekend, and they were there by 9am Monday morning!

My blower went out over night. I call Air Ref at 8 am and a service rep was at the house by 8:45. Air Ref calls the blower motor company and found out that the motor was still under warranty (saving us approx $900). By 10 am all was working again. I can't imagine better service anywhere!

Service tech arrived promptly, worked efficiently, installed new thermostat. Was professional in his manner.

I have special needs and this company did coropate with me with these special needs. I am chemically sensitive so they corporate as making the system as safe as possible so that when the air came through that it would be clear. However, when the salesmen came to the house I said my ac is loud and I want a system that is not going to be as loud. He said we will see to it that we will find something that cuts back on the noise. The system they installed is horrible. It keeps me up at night because it is so loud. I wrote letters to the company and I called and they never responded to me. As time went on I asked to speak to the owner and I still got no response.

They called right back. They arrived on time.
