About two years ago I had Affordable Kitchens refinish my kitchen. I was so pleased with the quality of the work that I had them refinish both of my bathrooms yesterday. The team of Mike and Lori did a beautiful job again! They are talented professional installers! I had requested them for the bathrooms based on the kitchen work! I'm very happy with the materials and the work.

The workers showed up even earlier than expected, which was wonderful. I'm so used to having to call companies to ask "where are your guys" because they're usually late, so this was great. We had Affordable Kitchen and Bath Refacing replace the doors and drawer fronts of our 2 vanities - totaling 8 doors and 6 drawer fronts. We went with thermofoil in the Wenga color, which looks like wenge wood. They did a great job - it really updated the master bath. We were very happy with the work. It was a pleasure to work with the installers as well as with Susan Valentin and the owner, Ken Sandvoss.

This company from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. Susan was very accommodating in coordinating a time to meet and provide an estimate. The owner, Ken, stayed in constant contact us throughout the entire process to make sure we were up to speed on timeline and any issues that needed to be resolved. The work was completely finished within 4 weeks and our kitchen looks amazing. Every single individual that we had the pleasure of working with was diligent, efficient and took great pride in their work. Ken (and his entire team) clearly care about the work they do and customer satisfaction. They made the entire process painless. I would definitely recommend them without hesitation to any looking to update their "outdated" kitchen!

Ken was professional from 1st phone call to job completion. He followed up to verify date time & satisfaction with job. He was onsite 3 separate times during 4 hours job. He was calm, detailed 2 quality conscious-awesome!

Ken was very professional on time worked with us on pricing his workmen were courteous & clean.

The boss, Ken Sandvoss, was quite easy to relate with and he gave us a price 30% less than Home Dpot. He also came to the site both days to check on the progress and to speak with us about any concerns we might have. The installers, Mike and Lori, did a superb job, not the least of which was correcting poor workmanship of the people who installed the original cabinets, even though they did not have to. Thy truly cared about making the job perfect, and they did. They also cleaned up the first night after work and when they left They were so nice to relate with and outstanding in their skills. We would use them again any time and highly recommend the company and the installers.

My wife and I met with 3 other Angie's List kitchen cabinet makers/refinishers before we were lucky enough to have Affordable Kitchen come to my home. Their estimator - Susan Valentin was extremely helpful. She visited twice and was courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. Once we agreed upon the needs and the price - the president of the firm Ken Sandvoss and Mike Sergio came to discuss any loose ends and measure everything - very carefully. Their time estimate about when the materials would arrive and the work would begin was almost perfect. Now I am saving the best for last - the folks that actually did the work are the husband and wife team of Mike Sergio and Lori Sergio. They were both perfectionists and craftsmen. Every detail was done professionally and beautifully. They arrived every time exactly on time and were extremely accommodating about any item. They did little extras for us and made sure that we were happy about their work. I cannot recommend this company too highly and would use them again. If you want you kitchen or bath handled by professionals - this is the company to contact. When the work is done - you will have a smile on your face.

I was very happy with the sales, planning, and execution of this job, including the granite and tile subcontract work. The company can handle work beyond refacing, so if your remodel job needs a new cabinet, granite, tile, or plumbing, they can get that done as part of the job. My job took three days. On the first day the granite was installed, then the plumber arrived to install the sink and faucet, and then the tile guy arrived to do the backsplash, all finished the same morning. Then carpenters worked two days on the cabinets and refacing, and the job was done. Everything was left in a clean and tidy fashion, and the finished product looks great. The company met me at their granite contractor and we picked out a remnant. I then ordered a sink/faucet form amazon and had it delivered to the granite shop. I purchased backsplash tile at home depot and had it ready when they arrived. The company orders doors and drawer fronts from a major provider and they look great, and are available in many styles and materials. Nothing left for me to do now except paint.

I was totally "wowed" by the completed project. I had saved, planned and dreamed for two years of how I wanted the kitchen to look when it was done. It was even better. From meeting with the planner, Susan Valentin (thank you Susan), to meeting with Ken (the owner) and his contractors (I was so impressed with all of them, especially the electrician, Gene, who went out of his way to finish his job the way I wanted it), I was very comfortable working with them. Even though Ken and I butted heads a couple of times, that was to be expected on any job. At the end of the job, Ken came over to see if I had any problems. Of the few that I did, Ken immediately jumped into action to resolve them. I would definitely recommend Affordable Kitchen and Bath and I plan on using them when I can renovate my bathrooms.

Excellent. Susan Valentin was the sales person that came to see me, very genuine, gave full attention to the order. I believe she cares about the customers and actually followed up after the installation. Ken, the owner is very responsible, answered to my concerns and fixed immediately a few things that did not go well with installation. He came in with Michael the day the project got measured, the first day of installation and after completion. Installer Michael and his wife were very clean, on time. The couple worked hard, they starts around 9:00 am with their day ending close to 6:00 pm with a very brief lunch hour (actually I did not even see them take a break!) I added a granite top to the bathroom cabinet the day before of the start of the project, Susan came in to see me in person. Bathroom granite, sink and fawcet is scheduled for this Wednesday.

We had used Affordable Kitchen and Bath 2 1/2 years ago at another property we owned to do a complete refacing job in the kitchen and two bathrooms. We were very happy with the job then and we decided to call them again when we moved to our new home. We decided to upgrade certain aspects of our aged kitchen. We needed additional cabinets which included installation of a corner cabinet containing a built-in turn table; replacing a menu (low) height counter to a normal height counter; installing a breakfast bar with cabinets underneath; replacing laminate counter tops with quartz; replacing an aged plain 6x6 white tile back splash with a 12x12 modern looking colored glass and stone mosaic tile back splash; new sink and faucet. We called Affordable Kitchen & Bath & left a message with the answering service. Within an hour Susan V., Sales Mgr. called. We made an appointment for her to come and discuss what we wanted and to show us samples and colors of doors, granite and quarts counter tops, and sinks. We met with Susan later the same afternoon and told her what we wanted; she took measurements; she showed us samples; two days later we met her at a stone yard to pick out a specific color of quartz; she came back a day later and gave us a quote for the job based on the quartz we had selected at the stone yard. The quote included fabrication and installation of the counter tops; all plumbing and necessary electrical work; fabrication and installation of the new cabinetry. We accepted the quote and signed the contract. Two days later Ken the owner called and wanted to bring his cabinet maker and the counter top fabricator to take exact measurements. They all came on time, took measurements, and gave us two dates when the job would be completed: day 1 for the installation of the cabinets; and day 2 for the installation of the counter tops, the plumbing work; and back splash. Ken came a couple of days before the electrician to remove several of the existing back splash tile, which he had difficulty with because they were not installed properly with the proper thin set. Eventually the entire wall had to be replaced with new sheet rock before the new back splash could be installed. Ken brought his electrician a week before the cabinets were installed so that boxes containing cable, telephone and an electrical outlet could be moved to the proper height. The cabinet maker arrived as scheduled and installed the new cabinets, doors and drawers. The next day the counter tops were installed with the new sink. The plumber also came to install the new faucet and garbage disposal unit. The back splash took two days to install because the sheet rock had to be replaced. Ken was on-site during all aspects of the job supervising the tradesmen. If there was a problem, an immediate correction was made. Overall, the kitchen looks great with the modern faucet and colored glass and stone mosaic tile back splash.

Price was very fair. Workmanship superb. Every task performed on time, neatly. Owner came to inspect the work when completed on time.

I was very nervous about starting this kitchen project. However, my sales rep, Susan Valentin, patiently walked me through the initial process of choosing the cabinets, granite, sink, and faucet for the kitchen. After taking measurements, she suggested putting the leftover granite, which would have been waste, into the guest bathroom. Made sense, and now I also have an updated guest bathroom! I very much appreciate her expertise and guidance. Once the work started, Ken, the contractor, came to our villa every day to check up on how the work was going and to make sure things were done correctly. He explained each step in the process and answered all my questions. His coordination of all the different workers participating in this renovation was perfect. At no time was anyone waiting for someone else to show up, thereby wasting time. The cabinet installers, Mike and his wife (sorry I don't remember her name!) were fantastic. They performed the entire demolition and installation of the cabinets in two days and did an excellent clean up each day. They worked all day each day, not even taking a break for lunch, and were very kind to my nosy, noisy dogs. They are true professionals. The granite installers did a very good job. It looks beautiful and the seams between the countertops and the backslashes are invisible. Lastly, the plumber, who connected the faucets, garbage disposal, and the dishwasher was punctual and did a fine job. The renovation was finished one day sooner than estimated, which was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely recommend Affordable Kitchens and Bath Refacing, Inc. to others.

My experience right from the first contact was impressive. I left a message on their website after I found them thru Angie's. Not only was the call returned by Susan Valentin within a half hour BUT it was July 4th...................I thought Monday would have been good..........BUT.......Saturday the 4th was impressive. Every step along the way was professional and performed within the tentative schedule we discussed. I had concerns in maintaining a tumbled marble backsplash that my husband installed just before he passed. From Susan to Ken to the granite installers they promised to do their best. The granite looks great because of the great care by Susan, Ken and the great installers. FYI I love the granite, the new sink and the tumbled marble backsplash looks even better next to the granite. Great Job everyone....................you make me smile every time I walk into the kitchen.

Amazing company to work with. From the very beginning to the very end, Affordable Kitchen and Bath delivered top notch service. Our first experience began with Nelson who came to our home. He provided multiple samples- colors, styles, hardware, options, etc. Nelson did not pressure us with any of our decisions and was honest, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Ken, the owner, coordinated with our schedule (Thank you!) and came out with Mike (cabinet installer) to complete and finalize the measurements. The cabinets, pantry doors and pull-out shelves were ordered from a warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale. Following receipt, Mike who was in charge of installing the cabinets contacted us to begin the installation. He arrived promptly and worked with his wonderful wife to complete the project as expected. They did a wonderful job and the refacing looks fantastic. The entire staff at Affordable Kitchen and Bath were a pleasure to work with. The added bonus is they are local and we were able to support a smaller establishment. We would undoubtedly recommend them and use them again.

The owner, Ken, responded to an e-mail I wrote, asking about a particular service that I was looking to have done. Although his company does not provide this type of service, he made the effort to call me TWICE, until he reached me, and then gave me his excellent professional advice. It really impressed me because this type of service is rare these days. I wish I could have used this company because with that level of customer service I know I would have been a very happy consumer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I had 2 appointments with Nelson Medina. The first appointment was for a bid to refinish my kitchen cabinets. Nelson was very professional and prompt. I made another appointment a week later to sign the contract for the work to commence. I had a problem with my kitchen cabinets where my expensive high end LG oven, which is vented on each side of my oven door, melted the Thermofoil covering that was on my cabinets either side of my oven door. PLEASE BEWARE OF USING THERMOFOIL WITH OVENS THAT ARE VENTED ON THE SIDE OF THE OVEN DOOR! LG did nothing for me with their design error on this oven. LG stated that they had never heard of this problem but Nelson stated that this was the 4 the time he has seen this problem with ovens that are side vented on the door. Because I am not refacing all of my cabinets and only the ones that have melted by my oven door, Nelson worked very hard and took a lot of time to match the color to my other cabinets. Once this has been finished, I am going to have to replace my oven, so this problem does not occur again. I will write another review once the work has been completed and complete this review.

It was a real pleasure working with the team at Affordable Kitchens! Everyone I dealt with seemed eager to please. They were on time for all appointments, they kept my place as clean as possible as they were working and they did everything they said they would do and got the job done quickly. There was one minor adjustment that needed to be done after the fact. As soon as I emailed them about the needed adjustment, I received an immediate call back and an offer to take care of it that same day. This is after they had received my payment in full - many contractors are less eager to be so responsive at that point. I would certainly recommend Affordable Kitchens and will use them again if I have future cabinet refacing needs!

From start to finish, the whole project went flawlessly. Everyone was very professional, courteous, and proficient at their job. The husband and wife team that put in our cabinets were so friendly and did a fantastic job with all the details. We have wonderful new pull out drawers, and a cabinet for the waste-paper basket. They also built a new cabinet for over our refrigerator. All the teams cleaned up after being at our home, and we were never left without the use of our kitchen. The owner, Ken, was present for all aspects of the project and provided valuable attention to detail, making sure everything was 100% correct. We couldn't be happier with the way our kitchen looks. I would recommend this company without hesitation for anyone wanting a new look in their kitchen.

The cabinets are beautiful. Nelson the estimator were great! They did exactly what they said they would do. Mike and his wife did the installation and did a wonder job. I will use them again and certainly will recommend them to anyone.

Ken, the owner, was prompt, professional, and responsive to concerns. The two installers were very professional and punctual. The installers came back and made adjustments as needed.

Affordable did a very nice job. They had to coordinate with mirror installers at wet bar, and that was a little bit of a challenge. Refacing is clearly their specialty, and that was very reasonable. On the cabinet work, the pricing was about on par with competitors. However, overall quality is very good.
