A & R Aluminum Gutters

They were on time and very professional.

A little history: I had another company install these gutters several years ago. They were not pitched correctly from the start. Unfortunately I did not realize this until after I paid in full. When I tried to get them back to correct the problem, my calls were not returned. I called A&R because they had a lot of good reviews on Angie's List. I received a call back from A&R the day after I left my message. They came by, on a Thursday to estimate the job & returned Friday (10 minutes early) and performed the work as stated. I asked if it would be OK to pay for the work AFTER I was able to verify that the water would, in fact, drain properly. Their response was "No Problem, we'll send you a bill to pay when you're satisfied." That weekend, we coincidentally got torrential rains and the gutters worked flawlessly! I am mailing in the check for the job right now. If every service company in South Florida stood by their work like A&R Gutters, I'm not sure how necessary Angie's List would be! However, most companies do not stand by their work and fortunately we have Angie's List to find the good ones and avoid the bad ones.

Andy from A & R Aluminum Gutters was responsive and completed the work in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend them. I expected to find the gutters an eye sore, however I was pleasantly surprised that they look quite nice and go well with the house. The best part of all is that we now do not have rain pouring all over.

They were very quick and efficient. Things have gone fine but what I've been waiting for hasn't happened since they installed them. I've been waiting for a really heavy downpour when I was home so I could check a couple of areas that I was concerned about. The price was fair. The workmanship seemed very professional. It is two brothers and one doesn't speak and the other speaks. They work together and one is the outside man and the other is the inside man. I would still like to check the gutters to visually see that they are working fine but I believe the quality is good and everything looks perfectly fine.

Called late in the day and left message to return call. The next morning Andy called back and said he would be out late morning. He arrived when he said and gave me an estimate. I felt it was reasonable and gave him the go ahead. He told me he would call me a day ahead of when he could do the work and it would be the next week. He did exactly that and arrived whithin the time he said he would be here. He compledted the work in a very short time, it looks good and he cleaned up everything. He is personable and professional. I highly recommend him.

Everything went fine. My only complaint is that it took awhile between offering the job and executing it. I had to initiate all contact.

I contact Andy after reading others Angie's reviews and they were right on. I first left a message and within 30 minutes he called me back. He was at my place 15 minutes from that call. I told him that I needed to know what he could repair and what needed to be replaced. After he checked all the gutters he said almost all of it was find, just needed to replace a L shape section that was already fully down. He also was going to add a diverter on my Florida room so the water will poor into the gutter instead of my hot tub area. I asked when did he think he could fix it and we agreed on the next day around 10 AM. At 9:02 he and a helper were here working on it. All I can say it looks outstanding and I would highly recommend him. Thanks Andy!

. He was great. He was excellent. Great price, he came down and did the work for me and I was satisfied with the work. I had no issues what so ever .His price were considerably better than the big companies that were there. But the problem was that the big companies never got back to me again. I was actually very satisfied with their work. I will use this provider in the future.

Andy came out to my site quickly, measured for the job, and suggested I consider seamless aluminum gutters. He provided an estimate on the spot. His pricing was reasonable and competitive with other quotes I received. He started the job before 8am in the morning and was finished before noon. Everything seems to drain perfectly and the job looks neat and clean - especially the downspouts. I've already recommended Andy to a friend.

I requested a job estimate from Andy. I received the estimate even though I could not be home for it. After a couple of phone conversations with Andy, we agreed on a start date. Andy showed up on the start day promptly and on time. The work was done very professionally and quickly. There was no trash left behind for me to pick up. I would hire and/or recommend this company to others.

Great. Arrived on time for estimate and work. Worked with me in setting up rain barrel and connection. Have had no trouble with the gutters or rain barrel connections. Will definitely call them back when we do the rest of the house.

Andy came out promptly to provide a written estimate a couple of months ago when I was first evaluating all the work to be done on my house. He provided the estimate and waited for my call. I had to wait until after other work was completed first - a new roof and paint job, before calling him back. He came back out this week to complete the work. He honored the amount originally quoted plus did a bit of additional work we had not originally discussed with no problem. Every phone call was returned promptly and he showed up exactly when he said he would. The work was completed very quickly and exactly as I expected. He made sure to ask where I wanted all the downspouts for the best effect with the least impact to the overall look of the house. He advised me without any pressure, even agreeing with me that in one area I was better off to not install a downspout but to think about maybe using a rain chain I could buy at a hardware store and subtracted that amount from the total estimate since we didn't use it. He was very honest and professional. The gutters look great, as nice as any of the pictures I found when I was searching through all the online websites. They do excellent work and I highly recommend them for any gutter needs.

They came out instantly to do a quote. They came back in a couple days to do the work and they did a great job. They also checked out the fascia and said it didn't need any work, just some paint.

I originally called a very large Gutter Installer which took serveral attempts to get an estimate. After the initial estimate they never called me back to do the job. A & R Gutter gave a much better price and did a professional job. I am very satisfied.

The job is not correct. It is unprofessional at best. This house is going up for sale and this gutter job will not pass inspection. UPDATE: I phoned A & R Gutters and spoke with Andy. He listened and on 10/29 he arrived to correct work that was not satisfactory. When old gutters and spikes were removed the spike holes were not caulked shot. Andy caulked, flashed, closed the spike holes. Well done. Also he installed three drop outlets, replaced two extensions; one being too short and the other damaged. In my opinion this new gutter system is perfect. I am 100% pleased and if you need superior gutter work please call Andy of A & R Aluminum Gutters.

They did an excellent job. I read about them online and they had good ratings. They didn?t have any bad comments and it worked out pretty well. My experience with them was very good. They came when they said they were going to be here. It?s a two story house. It was very hot and they got it done fast. The price was fair. I would recommend them to others and I would use their services in the future too.

Called and set the appointment. Showed up on time as agreed. Provided an estimate. Contracted to do the work. Showed up on time and completed the work completely as agreed. I've recommended A&R to others.

Called for estimate on small area close to pool. They arrived the next day earlier than expected. Even though they would have had to place gutters from roof, they were ready to put up gutters on the spot. We decided to do it ourselves, but I was very impressed with their fast response and preparedness. Will definitely hire in the future if needed.

Called Andy for estimate and he responded same day, even though the weather was absolutely horrible. Estimate was in my price range but I wanted one other just in case. The other company, who had great ratings on the list, was disconnected with no forwarding number. I called Andy back the next day, after reading up what contitutes a good gutter job, ie screws instead of nails, drainage placed approprately, etc. and all my questions were answered. We agreed, with the FL summer weather, on a time scale of this week or next. Second week, Andy called Tuesday, Appt made for Thursday at 8 AM. Andy and his helper (brother) came to the minute, started work, and were done within 3 hours. I must mention we have a TOUGH HOA who required matching colors. Andy matched it so close, I could just barely tell the difference between the shutters and the pain on the house. To conclude, the estimate was matched to the penny.

Replied to my initial phone call the same day. Punctual on arriving to look at/quote job. Arrived to complete job at time specified and completed quickly. The guys cleaned up the job site very well (no bits of sheared aluminum anywhere) and the gutters work perfectly. Excellent job.

Never received the estimate. Business must be good, if one does not come out to give an estimate. Woody should of called me if there was a problem, a phone call to reschedule the estimate would of helped. Like the old saying " You snooze, you lose"
