It went very well, the estimator came first, provided quote - 15minutes. then appointment was set. Now they are busy so expect to wait 3 weeks or so for installation. However the job was very well done, quality build, they customized everything from the truck and finish looks superb. I recommend them to others. Job well done. They also showed me their work and answered any questions I had.

well andy the installer was so promt and nice ..did more than a great job...even fixed something extra for me..on time good clean up and most of all honest ..please if you need gutters this is the company

The repairman came out when he said he would, he fixed the problem and even threw in a free downspout to make the system work better. There was no upselling or excuses. It was one of the best experiences I have had with repair work on my home.

I called Andy and asked to come by to give me an estimate on replacing a gutter on the back of my house. He made an appointment to stop by and arrived on time. He gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable to me. This was on a Monday. He told me he could come on Friday or the beginning of the next week, but in reality he ended up with a cancelation and was able to do the job early on Wednesday. They were very professional, worked fast, and definitely knew what they were doing. The gutter looks sooo much better now. Great quality work and material. I would highly recommend this company for anyone's gutter needs. I'd give them AAA+++

He was punctual. He finished quick and the quality was excellent. Price was reasonable.

I had an appointment for 8:00 am and he showed up at 7:15 am. It wasn't exactly what I wanted. He also gave me attitude about the check since I made it out to the company and not to him. I found it very unprofessional.

I was very happy with him. He was really good. I am a morning person. He came out early in the morning for me to give me an estimate. He was on time when he was supposed to come out the next week. He did the job real fast and he was very nice. I liked him. I had no problems at all. I was very pleased with the price. He responded very fast. I even asked if he could cut a couple of branches off away from the roof and he did that for me and asked if I needed anything else to be done.

He came quickly, did great work, and even did a little extra work for free.

I called on friday and within the hour I rec'd a call back to give me an estimate and on monday ,they started the job.Both guys showed up and the job was done ,fast friendly and I was completely satisfied .I waited to give my review waiting for a good windy rain which we got last week, everything worked great.

I called to schedule an estimate for installing new gutters all around the house. The lady that answered my call told me another person would call me to schedule the date for the estimate. Never called back and did not bother to call them since the lady was rude and unprofessional when I called to get a date. I do not recommend this company. I thought they would stand to the reviews I saw on angies list, but I was wrong. Apparently they don't need the job.

Andy was great. I called A & R to leave a message and he showed up the next day (Saturday) to give me an estimate. I found out at that time he had also done my neighbors gutters. The cost was lower than expected and when he left the debris had been cleaned up. The gutters look great and I have already recommended Andy to my paver installer.

Andy came out & gave us a very reasonable estimate for the work we required, however, after 3 attempts to schedule the work --it was on their schedule & confirmed --and no crew showed up, I gave up. If my job was too small, I would have preferred for him to say so and not give me the run around.

The company did a great job and even told us not to pay unless we were satisfied. Who trusts anyone that much these days. Of course, we paid him. The gutters are beautifully matched with the small existing piece the previous owner had on the front of the house. The results proved worth it when we had a ton of rain with the tropical storm Isaac in August 2012. The water that had caused a drainage problem and house settling in the front of the house had now moved out into the front yard away from our foundation (which was the goal based on our consultation with a structural engineer). Thanks again for a job well done!

Initially they were fine but they weren’t tested by water. I didn’t think to check to see if they leaked. I had gutters before for years and years and they only had a little leak where I had had the roof repaired. I wasn’t sure it was leaking from the roof or the gutter. The first time it rained, I called them and told him that the new gutters were still leaking at that same spot. He came out and nailed it in a little better and that was supposed to fix it. We had a long dry spell after that. The next time it rained, it poured through. I called his company and what I got was a voicemail answering. I called five times over a three week period, at different times of day. All I got was voicemail. I left my phone number every time and I told him I had a concern and that it was leaking very badly. I shouldn’t have given them all the information about what was wrong because he never called me back. I ended up going to the store and getting a sealant and sprayed black sealant on my white downspout. That worked well enough to keep it from looking like a fountain where it was spurting out. The new gutters are leaking like my old ones never did. They are very flimsy and I was very dissatisfied. The fact that he never called me back really ticked me off. I spent $250 for little short spaces of gutter. The back of my house still has the old gutters and they’re working fine, even after 28 years. My contract says that all their work is guaranteed for two years. I didn’t compare his prices with anyone else’s. He gave me a $150 quote and then I decided to let him do the extra piece along the front of the house that didn’t have old gutters. He charged me additional $100 for that. I was foolish. Now I see that it was way too much for the quality of the work and the quality of the gutter itself. I didn’t educate myself well enough before I had it done. Initially his responsiveness was an A; he came out right away. However, since he didn’t respond later, he gets an F. He obviously could give a crap because he never called me back. I absolutely would not use him again. I have even considered calling another company and having these gutters taken down and have them replaced with some that are worth something.

I called few companies to give me a qoute and I ended up choosing them. They came fast to give an estimate and the gentleman suggested a good solution for the problem I had with gutters. The water is draining properly and I am very satisfied with the job. The only thing I was not happy about was the communication. When I decided that I will give them the job I was informed that I will be contacted by the end of the week. As none called me I called them on Friday afternoon. My call was returned on Monday afternoon when I heard that the gentleman will come next day early in the morning to do the job. I asked what other options I have and heard that either that day, else he doesn't know when he will be able to come. I felt it was not nice and would appreciate having a longer notice. I still would use this company in the future, because the man knows what he is doing.

After I called A&R Aluminum Gutters and left a message, Andy returned my call the same day and agreed to come give me an estimate a day or so later. At our initial meeting, I was very impressed with Andy's expertise, the way he focused on addressing my problem, and the reasonableness of the price that he proposed. I accepted his proposal on the spot, and Andy said that he could do the work the next week and would give me 1 days notice. As promised, Andy called early the next week and said he could do the work the next day. The following day, Andy and an employee came at the agreed time and not only did an excellent job, but were a pleasure to deal with. I definitely would use them again and will be recommending Andy to anyone who tells me that they need someone for gutter work.

I left a message on thursday and received a call first thing friday morning to set up an appointment. Andy came out and measured even though I was not home. We discussed on he phone what I was looking for and he left the estimate in my front door. H e was very pleasant. Estimate seems fair. Have goten a few and have not decided who we are using yet.

I contacted A & R Aluminum Gutters by phone and Gary said he would stop by and leave an estimate in my mailbox to add downspouting to an existing gutter. He did as he said he would do and upon review of the estimate, I called him to do the work. He said he would do it on Monday. I asked him if he could try to avoid covering some brickwork on the front of the house. He indicated that he probably could not do that. I left a note to ask him again to try to avoid the bricks. Whe I came home, I was thrilled to see that he did EXACTLY what I wanted. It was perfect! I'm thoroughly happy with this company!

We are doing some remodeling and upgrades prior to selling our home. After replacing the roof, we needed new gutters and some missing soffits installed. Called A&R and Andy called me back within a couple of hours and came the very next day to do an estimate. Andy is professional yet amiable, noted everything including small repairs outside his usual scope, and was able to give me a very reasonable estimate on the spot. He called the next week, the day prior to the work, and showed up with his helper before 8 am to perform the work. They did everything we needed in good time, including the little picky things I had requested, and the workmanship is super. The gutters look great and are pitched properly to the downspouts. I can't recommend Andy highly enough.

The whole experience was fantastic! I called for a quote, and received a call back the next day. A estimate was scheduled immediately and I was provided an estimate within days. I agreed to the estimate and the job was scheduled right away. The work was completed as stated, and was quality work. The gutters matched my trim well and look great! The best part... I wasn't home when the work was completed and was told don't worry about paying until you are satisfied with the job, and then send the check. I was very impressed by this level of trust and service. Of course, I sent my payment right away. I would highly recommend the service, quality, and professionalism by A & R.
