The pre-sales process was excellent, their office staff was super helpful and informative all along the way and willing to answer any questions that came up. The install process was great as well. They organized the install around the need for an additional electrical installation, were here when they said they would be and did a great job with everything. They explained along the way and asked for input when anything came up that presented options for them.

Her arrived to fix it in the timeframe that was promised. The repair was completed and the heater was back in operation an hour later.

Matt has taken care of my pool for more than 20 years. They have kept it looking good and chemically in balance. Several years ago they replaced the plaster on my 35 year old pool and replaced the tile. I was very pleased. I heartily recommend Matt's for reliable and punctual service.

Owner came out on 6/16. Stated obvious problem, that the pool pump was broken. I reviewed options with him and he acknowledged there would be no service fee until he replaced the pump. I found a pump nearly $400 cheaper than he sells in store (same model), but he refused to install it since I did not buy from him. I had to hire another company to do the install since he refused. I have received 3 bills since, and one threat of collections and it hasn't even been 2 months since he came out. I have never signed or verbally agreed to any fees and the website clearly state that estimates are free. Since he refused to continue service and I had to hire someone else, I do not feel I should have to pay two companies for their services, considering one refused the business. Your Desired Resolution: Business needs to stop billing me and threatening collections since they refused to provide the service I requested since I did not buy the product through them. Also since the website advertises free estimates, there is no reason I should be receiving bills. If I receive mail or calls from collection agencies or damage to my credit report, I will be filing a lawsuit for damages.

I knew nothing about pools when I purchased my home. I have an inground vinyl lined pool without a screen cover. In an area with many oak trees. Matts Pool Service has been around so long Matt took one look at the pool and knew who installed it. He knew aproximatley how old it was and the possible problems that could arise. Matt, his Son and another employee worked in horrible sun and heat and replaced my liner. The finished result is so beautiful. They installed a new DE filter and taught me how to operate and clean it and continue to instruct me on proper maintenance. Matt came back a few months later to inspect the pool and filter at no charge. Their rates are very good. I feel you get way more then what you paid for. This is a family owned company that takes pride in providing quality service. They get to know all their repeat customers. I will never go anywhere else.

From water tests to chemicals, supplies to repairs they've been Great, and over the past 30 years there's always good advice, super service and fair prices. We've spent anywhere from $20 up to $600 for repairs and always the same great attitude and service. (Note: entered a cost above because the form requires it --- they really should have a range.)

Had the service for about a month. They would come over on every Monday. The work was average, they would only stay about 5 minutes and every time the would break something. Example my filter was new and they said I needed a new one because they said the rings where broken. The next thing was my automatic cleaner it stop working. He told me it was my diaphragm and would charge me about $80.00 dollars to fix it. I checked on line at Amazon for the part and found it only cost $4.I know he like to make a profit but that is to much. So I told him I didn't need his service any more.

Our pool motor burnt out last Sunday. In a frenzy to have it fixed quickly (3 children who swim hrs. a day) we called Matt's Pool Service. Matt and his team immediately recognized our sense of urgency and responded quickly to the best of their ability. They were out on our property the next business day to repair/replace the damage. Unfortunately a part was needed to fix the motor, but they were able to have it expedited and it arrived earlier than expected. They were out the next day, and fixed the motor within 30 mins. The tech. was knowledgeable and VERY professional. I highly recommend this company! Very HAPPY!

The technician thoroughly checked my system to ensure that everything was working correctly and added the appropriate chemicals. He returned several days to make sure everything was working correctly and cleaned the filter each time he visited. I cannot say enough on what a great job he did. I as so pleased with the service at Matt's Pool service that I signed up for weekly maintenance. If you are having a pool problem, save yourself a lot of frustration and money and go to Matt's.

I made a call and Matt's Pool service talked me through a few options to try on my own before I had to pay them for a service call. After those attempts worked, they came out the next day and was able to dislodge debris that had gotten into the pipes and restricted the flow. It was also determined that my salt cell has come toi the end of it's life expectancy and it needs to be replaced. I have not gone with their replacemnet until I have a chance to shop around and compare prices but I will use them again for service.

I have a 12,000 gallon spa & pool combination and the pump died. I purchased a pump from online but decided to replace the filter at the same time. The old filter was a cartridge type that I had to maintain weekly by removing and hosing off the inside paper cartridge. I contacted the store for help and recommendations on the type of filter that would best suite my needs. I had contacted a few other pool service companies and did not get very much information. They would only tell me what type of filter they thought was best but didn't really tell me the pros and cons of each type or specifically how I would have to maintain it in my pool configuration. When I contacted Matt's Pool Service, an associate named Chris took the time to tell me specifics on how often I would need to clean the filter, backwash, and even specifics on additives for every type of filter so I could actually make an informed decision. I also obtained a very reasonable quote for purchasing and installing the DE filter plus installing the pump which I had already purchased. The install was done while I was at work, but the area was reasonably clean. There was some powder around the skimmer access and quite a bit of dirt on the outside pad, but nothing we couldn't easily clean up. The pump had a leak at one of the connections. I contacted the service again to address the pump leak. I was also concerned about the power of the pump, since it was two speed and seemed too weak on low. I spoke with Matt and he said he would send someone to fix the pump right away. About the pump, he took the time to recommend an automation system that I could use to save money by having the pump switch from low to high automatically. He also told me about the convenience of having the automation to turn my spa and heater on and off without having to go outside and switch all the valves. It seemed like a great idea, so I scheduled them to fix the pump leak and install the automation this week. So far, they have been very helpful. I will update once the repair and automation install is complete.

Matt's has been doing my pool maintenance for many years - so of course I called them when it was time to upgrade my equipment for the new "green" law. As always - the job was done professionally - on time and the price quoted. Matt and Paul are wonderful.

Initial services were completed professionally and on time. Not the cheapest repairs but work was completed efficiently and as of 5/1, system works flawlessly. Proposed work was explained upfront, in detail. Refuse removed from property by installer. Matt's is providing weekly pool maintenance and during past 7 weeks, very satisfied. Pool never looked better.
