 + -1 moreThey did an excellent job. I had a concern after the roof was on and the owner himself came out and assured me that everything was good. They were very fared price. They were out in a day and a half and they did a great job and were very professional.

 + -1 moreJob was scheduled way in advance. They were right on schedule. Did a good job. Honest and professional. We has our roof done 5 years prior by company in orange city that has been in business forever they never got a permit and did a terrible job. Too late to do anything after the leaks started. Leonard Clark did things the right and honest way. Thank you! Very knowledgable, he went into great detail of what he would do because we had been taken from another local roofing company.They did everything they said they would.

 + -1 moreWe recently had our roof replaced by Leonard Clark roofing. We were very pleased with the job. The people were their early in the morning and worked until they were at a stopping point, not just when it turned 5:00. The area they worked in was cleaned every night before they left. My parents also used Leonard Clark roofing to replace their roof several years ago and were very happy. Also, their price was approximate $2,000 less than we received from a General Contractor we contacted for a comparison price. Thank you.

 + -1 moreIt went excellent. They completed the job within a day in a half. It was unbelievable. They cleaned up everything and there was no problems what so ever. They provided excellent service. It is a second generation company and they provided all kinds of samples for me to look at and were very accomodating. They also recommended a certain brand that I hadn't considered and the reason being is that they had less problems using the Certainteed Saint Cobain shingles. I had 5 different estimates and they were one of my lowest bids. Also, when I negotiated the contract with them I knew there was going to be some wood replacement. These guys gave me a flat price and they stayed to the price.

 + -1 moreI have used them before and they did great; but we lost our roof in 2004 because of a hurricane and because they were busy it took until 2005 to get a new roof. It was a bad time and no roofer was responding to our needs so I will use them again in the future.

 + -1 moreThe job went very well overall from the proposal to completion. Leonard Clark Roofing was very helpful in my selection of the shingle that was a quality product, looked good on the house and was not overly expensive. He even gave me the addresses of a few houses that he had installed the same shingle on, that I could look at. The job was started on time, actually a 1/2 day earlier than scheduled and was finished in (2) days, with Mr Clark on site himself supervising his men a good deal of the time. Mr Clark delivers all the supplies to the job site himself, which is important. This means there is no 3rd party involved that could put a lien on your property if not paid. Also he did not require any payment from me up front. He uses a scissor lift dump truck that goes up to the roof, so old shingles, underlayment, bad wood, nails, etc are not thrown into a trailer or dumpster in your driveway. Clean up of the property including the gutters was immaculate. I would highly recommend Leonard Clark Roofing, DeLand, FL to anyone looking for a roof replacement or repaiir.
Description of Work: I got (7) different estimates for a recent roof replacement, requiring 28 Squares of Architectural Shingles. Leonard Clark was the only roofer who quoted me that actually called back a few days later to see if I had any questions, but did not pressure me. His proposal was not the cheapest but he did include all replacement plywood & facia board with the labor to install lthe wood in his quote, A few others roofers quoted less but any replacement wood & labor to install was extra I knew there was a good possibility that significant wood replacement would be necessary and it was. Had I chosen the lower bidders with the replacement wood extra, I would have wound up paying considerably more. Also he quoted (2) layers of #15 lb felt underlayment instead of (1) layer of #30. When I questioned this he told me the pitch of my roof was slightly under the requirement to use only #30. No other roofer caught this. The (2) layers of #15 was more work to install but provides better protection. Leonard Clark Roofing is licensed and insured. Some other roofers were operating under a license from a 3rd party contractor or builder.

Description of Work: I CALLED FOR STORM DAMAGE ESTIMATE ON A 6 YEAR OLD ROOF. I HAD TWO LEAKS OVER MY PATIOS. WHEN HE SHOWED UP WITH A CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER. "HE (LEONARD CLARK WHILE ON MY ROOF )THIS IS NO RE-ROOF, THIS IS A REPAIR AND IT'S $65.00." JUST AS SNOTTY AS YOU CAN IMAGINE. I SAID TO HIM I WAS NOT TOLD THIS WAS GOING TO COST ME $65.00. HE THEN BARKED IT'S A $50.00 SERVICE CHARGE TO COME HERE..I DID NOT WANT ANY MORE LEAKS OR DAMAGE TO OCCUR SO I PAID HIM! THAT JUST COST HIM 4 TOTAL ROOF JOBS. MY RENTAL, MY IN-LAWS, MY PARENTS AND ONE OF MY FRIENDS. I HOPE HE ENJOYS THE $65.00 BECAUSE OF HIS NASTY ATTITUDE WE ARE HAVING OUR ROOF'S DONE BY SOMEONE ELSE. EVEN THOUGH THE SECOND GUY'S ESTIMATE IS A LITTLE HIGHER. I'D RATHER PAY MORE FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS MANNERS, AND IS A TRUE SOUTHERN GENTLEMEN THAN THIS GUY. A WORD TO THE WISE, IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT. YOU GET MORE WITH SUGAR THAN YOU DO WITH VINEGAR. I DO NOT RECOMMEND LEONARD CLARK ROOFING UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE VERBALLY ABUSED AND LIED TO ! YOUR CHOICE.
