 + -1 moreI delivered the chairs to Bob at his shop and he had ordered the fabric and was ready to go to work on them. I wasn't in a hurry because I was going to be out of town for a period. So when I got home, I called and he said he had them all ready for me and was excited for me to see them. The filler he used made you feel so comfortable sitting in them as well as looking at what you had wanted them to look like. I was extremely happy with his work and helpfulness and I am telling you now, I'm sure you have read many of my post on here, this guy is really a great upholster, let alone a very nice non-pressuring guy. If you don't give him a chance to look at your prize possessions or just a new look at something old you could keep and not have to replace new, you get what you deserve. Give him a call, don't play around with those colored pages in the books, save money and get the best job, just call Bob, you won't be sorry!
Description of Work: I had inherited a dining room table and 4 chairs in rattan, but they came with the most awful old upholstery I had ever seen. The set was so cherished by me I didn't want to just have anyone do it, but I wanted the bottom and back cushions replaced with something very nice and a pattern that would go well with the rattan. Bob, the owner, was great. He showed me many fabrics and explained the durable wear and cleaning that they would endure and it was great picking out such a good match for what I had in mind. He is so nice and reasonable and will work with you to suit your needs and make you happy with your choice and his ability. He has been doing this for years and knows his business and because he works out of his shop next to his home, he doesn't charge an arm and a leg as I had been experiencing. He made the decision to choose the right fabric and pattern so easy, I knew my sacred passed on dining set would great.
