Dust Bunnies Cleaning Service

I have never had anyone clean for me. I have had some medical problems and just could not do it myself anymore. They worked tirelessly for 9 hours. Very nice people.

Made appointment for estimate. After a couple of messages, Jodi finally returned call. She came by my house and after seeing what needed to be done we settled on price and schedule. I told her I would call back that evening to confirm date. I called but she never answered the phone so I left a message. I never received a return phone call. I left a couple of other messages but still received no return phone call from Jodi. This is very un-professional behavior. If the house is too big for them and they cannot do the job or it is too much for them to handle then they should say so. I would not recomend this company to anyone.

Wonderful, she is great and cleans everything

I contacted her by email in early May before we left on a trip. She didn't answer the email, so I called the next day, and she called back shortly. She came the next day and gave me a fair price of $225.00 for the cleaning that I wanted done and we set a date of May 30, 2013. I called her on the 28th to make sure that she remembered and would be here. She confirmed that she would, then never showed up on the 30th. I called several times, and she finally answered, telling me that she had had some problems but would be here. She never showed nor called or returned any message that I left. I would never trust my time nor my house to her service. I would like to point out that I contacted her before I joined Angie's List and saw the reviews.

They do a great job, they're hardworking, professional, and honest. They were very clean, and very considerate. They were excellent.

WONDERFUL. My first cleaning service. Got name from Angie's List and picked this business because of good reviews. THANK YOU! I called on Tuesday and she said she could come on Monday. I needed help before going to hospital next week and she made time to come on Wednesday ( the next day) . Jodi (the owner/worker) came early, gave me an estimate and started working. She had one other helper and worked for about 5 hours. Hope to have her at least once a month.

I don't live in Deland but my father does so I added the city to my Angie's List account. My father has had some health issues and has been unable to clean. None of us kids are close so we needed someone to help him. To say that the house needed a good scrubbing is an understatement. I contacted Jodi at Dust Bunnies after reading glowing reports. We played phone tag for a few days. When we connected, I gave her my Dad's contact info and she took it from there. They met and set up a date for the following week. As instructed, Jodi did not discuss money with my Dad because he would have nixed the help. Dust Bunnies does not take credit cards so I took a leap of faith and popped a check for $200 in the mail. My Dad unexpectedly went into the hospital so I called Jodi on Sunday at 11 am to see if I could get her to clean before he came home, maybe Monday or Tuesday. She said she could be there in an hour! I arranged for a neighbor to let her in. She cleaned for 8 1/2 hours! Everyone who has seen her work are amazed at what she accomplished. She reclaimed furniture from the dog hair and as my brother said, she made it brighter. Even the curtains are clean! Jodi is going to maintain his house with a monthly visit for $80. She ROCKS! Use Dust Bunnies!

Over the years in many different states and locales we have used various cleaning services. We have used Dust Bunnies here in Central florida for over a year, twice monthly. They are clearly number one in our book. The owner and principal worker, Jodi Warren, is always, always prompt. Knowing that she will be here every two weeks, she schedules some of the less often cleaning tasks (like ceiling fans) once a month. Her husband, Joe, often accompanies her and does a lot of the heavy-lifting including vacuuming in high places (like air vents - we have 10 foot ceilings). One day after they had cleaned, the doorbell rang at around 6 PM. It was Jodi with an electronic device in her hand. Apparently she had caught up a cord from one of my son's video games in her vacuum earlier in the day. She was replacing the broken controller even though we had no knowledge that there had even been any damage! The house literally sparkles after they are here. Bottom line? They are completely trustworthy, their cleaning is thorough and they are one of the rare business that under-promise and over-provide. The best ever!

They are incredible. I found them on Angie's List and I think all of the reviews that led me to them are accurate. I continue to use them as our regular cleaning service. They are incredibly trustworthy; I just leave a key under the mat and I'm not even here. The house looks great every time and I can leave a note with extra instructions but the price and quality never change.

I called her and she said she could be there in a day, she showed up on time, we also have 2 dogs that are like family, but she was wonderful with them. She started cleaning and 5 hours later the home was totally cleaned. I would never hesitate to refer her to anone.

My experience with them has been absolutely fantastic. The house is smaller, and they will really do like a nice cylinder clean and then what I usually do is I will leave a note on our chalkboard about the areas that I have specifically noticed. They will then pay particular attention to that. They will do what I need like if I really want the floors mopped or things like that in addition to a general cleaning, so it is very nice. It is kind of like each month I can tailor the type of cleaning that I want.

We used Dust Bunnies to clean for four hours every other week from Jun 2008 to April 15, 2010 which was the last time we heard from them. They cleaned our house over 46 times that I can account for in my checkbook. They were a great husband and wife team that moved the furniture and did a wonderful job cleaning using all their cleaning supplies for $90.00 for 4 hours. Then we never heard from them again! Called them. They never returned calls or gave any reason for their disappearance. I just joined Angie's List to find another housecleaner with a good reputation since I have not been able to replace Dust Bunnies with a good company that I can trust to do the heavy cleaning every other week for four hours. We always left a check for them for each cleaning and was on a regular schedule! Very disappointed and suprised to see them still advertised as in service since they didn't let us know why they stopped cleaning for us :(

They had done a great job in the past, so I scheduled another appointment with them. They were scheduled to clean, but never showed up for that appointment, never called, and I never heard from them again. They also never responded to my phone calls.

Their work is not good and they charge too much. The first time I used them they were excellent, the second time I used them they were absolutely terrible and damaged a couple antique pieces of furniture. I never had them come back. They over charged me and I have no idea what the second person in the group was doing, she scratched a mahogany table. I am not using them again and nor do I recommend them to anybody. When it was the husband and wife working together they were excellent but something happened to her husband so she started bringing her mother. Frankly she didn't do a good job at all herself, she charged me too much and did a terrible job. They charged 20 dollars per person per hour. They were a couple hours late to the job.

Team of 2 (husband and wife), completely organized and equipped, cleaned everything. They were able to clean around my audio tapes, papers, computers. Used appropriate cleaners and care for 17th and 18th century antiques. Even cleaned the outside of the front door, under the beds. Moved what had to be moved, then put it back. Replaced a diicult light bulb over the sink. They are really a team...never argued...and were very quiet as they went about their work. Took only one 5-10 minute break.

Jodi and her husband do a great job cleaning everything agreed upon in our home. She came over to tour our home first, listened to my needs, and then gave me a quote based on the frequency of their visits and the size of our home. They have also been flexible in finding a time that fits our schedule for their visits. They have no problem cleaning around our pets who like to keep watch on them. There is nothing like coming home to a clean house and I look forward to their arrival each time.

The DustBunnies did an outstanding job. The house was cleaner than I had ever seen and cleaner than I ever could have gotten it myself. I had told them they did not need to clean the wood floors (because my husband likes to handle them), but Joe vacuumed them so well that they did not need further cleaning. The kitchen appliances were gleaming with no streaks. They really out the time and effort in to do a comprehensive job. I would use them again in a heartbeat and hope to do so regularly in the fall.

Jodi and Joe worked very hard and did a great job shaping my house up. They were very respectful of my home and left it looking great. I am very satisfied with their work and look forward to using them again in the future.

I used the Warrens to clean my home twice on an as-needed basis, and because of the results and this couple's likability and attention to detail, have now converted to a regularly-scheduled monthly customer. Because they have worked for me more than half a dozen times, I know what to expect: respect for my schedule and property, thoroughness, and a "Can do!, go-the-extra-mile" attitude. I have used service people to clean my home for decades and could share many horror stories about some of those experiences. My experience with Dust Bunnies ranks at the top of the positive list; I am hoping to continue as a client for many years to come.

Excellent. They spend a lot of time doing a thourough job, including laundry. 100% better than the previous housecleaner. They are scheduled to come out every 2 weeks.

I sent them an email through their website with a choice of two specific days that would work best for me. They responded and were able to come the first day, which was ideal. They arrived right on time, unloaded their equipment and got right to work. The entire house needed cleaning and they were very thorough. Not only did they do a great job with the basics like cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming, but also did things like cleaning the slats on the window shades, removing smudges from around door handles and light switches, and vacuuming the couches to get cat hair completely off. The house really looked fantastic and I didn't have to do any of the detail cleaning I had planned to do prior to my guests arriving. They saved me a bunch of time and work. They were very conscious of vacuuming when I was on a conference call, and careful to make sure our 18 year old cat had time to move to another room before the vacuum came toward her. I found their prices extremely reasonable, the work was great, and they were both very nice and friendly.

We are having a bit of an issue with my Mom giving her a little bit of a problem. Overall experience was very good. The pricing is a little high in my opinion, but everyone said that it was a good price for what she did.

They are friendly, professional, efficient and thorough. The were prompt for their interview, gave us an estimate on the spot and have been true to their estimate. They show up as scheduled each month and reschedule around holidays. They are always willing to help in any way they can, usually at no extra charge for small things. And the nice thing is I have peace of mind knowing that my mother's needs are being met.

Jodi was great! I hardly ever saw her b/c she was in corners/bathrooms/kitchen scrubbing away! She did a great job and her husband joined in to help out! Great team work!
