This company did not fasten anything to the walls of the truck, nor did they pad the furniture. When asked why after seeing the damages, the movers said they didn't pad the furniture because they thought it was going to storage. I don't quite understand that reasoning. In total they damaged 11 pieces of my furniture including a big screen TV during the move, some severely. THEY TRIED TO GET ME TO PAY THE BALANCE IN CASH BEFORE UNLOADING THE DAMAGED FURNITURE SO I WOULDN'T SEE IT BEFORE PAYING. When I told them I planned to pay with card, they said not to worry that they would wait for me to go to the bank. I insisted on paying with a card as previously agreed. I have submitted the claim form they sent me over a month ago with before and after pictures and they still haven't responded, although the agreement says they will handle claims within 30 days. I moved in June and its August. The owner/claims manager, MARCENE, has not been available to speak with me, though my countless attempts. I was informed that she has another full-time job so is very busy and no one else can help. She has not respond to my follow-up emails either. I was recently informed that she was busy opening a new branch in Orlando for 1 month, apparently before handling the open matters with current clients. The only departments I've been able to speak with are the sales and scheduling departments. I HOPE THIS REVIEW CAN SAVE SOMEONE ELSE FROM HAVING THEIR FURNITURE DESTROYED.
Description of Work: They were hired to move most of our furniture from our old apartment to our new one, about 20 minutes away. I was told to sign their agreement after the furniture was in the truck and at the new location, but before they started to unload it. I was also asked to pay the balance, preferably in cash, at this time. When they unloaded the furniture into our new apartment, almost every piece was damaged in some way, some severely. It has been over 1 month, passed the deadline set forth in their agreement, and the claims manager has been unresponsive despite my many attempts. I have been told that no one else can help me in the company.

Be Careful. Be Careful. NOT TO BE TRUSTED. They are really nice and polite when they are setting up the move but if any goes bad you will get the run around and not get proper resolutions. I would like to go over the other issues I had during this moving process. 1. When the move was scheduled I was advised that the estimated start time would be between 8 am - 9 am (1st move of the day). I received a phone call the day before the move and the new estimated start time would be between 11 am to 1 pm (something came up was the reason I was given for the change of the start time). The day of the move I got a call (around 10 am) stating that the move prior to my move was under estimated and that they were still in the process of that other move. They stated that they would be able start between 2 pm and 3 pm. Chris, Jerry and Marc arrived at the townhouse at 3:30 pm to start this move. They stated that the move prior to mine was really underestimated and that they "got their butts kicked". They stated that they were "over worked, tired and a little hungry". Side note the gentlemen were very continuous and polite throughout this process. The estimated time that I got from your company was 5 hours. I also got 3 other quotes from other moving companies and they also estimated about 5 hours. The moving time that I was charged was 7 hours. I believe that if I was the first move of the day the moving time would have been reduced. The added expense for the two added hours was about $190.00. Another issue that extended the time for this move was that your team was not properly equipped to handle this move based on the fact that the only tools they had was an Allen wrench kit and 1 screw driver for the three movers. 2. The web site states that "We Blanket-Wrap Your Furniture at No Additional Cost". I have attached many photos of the furniture clearly not blanket wrapped. If the furniture were wrapped properly I may not have had to fill out the attached paper work. 3. When it was time to make payment, the amount owed was $573.00. I gave the gentlemen $600.00 in cash. He did not count the money or even ask the simple question of "sir do you need change". Courtesy to the paying customer would have been to confirm the amount given and asking if they wanted change. 4. Since the move end at 9 pm I was not able to inspect the old location to see the amount of damages they caused to the walls. The old location needed to have 4 walls speckled and painted due to the damages that was causing by the movers. Again going back to the fact that the furniture was not properly wrapped for the move. An added expense for me to have that work done. Since the move I have been given the run around. They are now not going to cover any of the items that they damaged. They made an offer but since I did not agree with their offer they totally shut down and will not even talk with me at this point. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

I had a few items - a queen bed, a full bed, a futon, and smaller items. Distance to move was less than 10 miles. When I spoke with the salesperson he agreed to flat price for moving. I made a big mistake of not checking his follow up email where he wrote a hourly contract! That was just the beginning. The moving team arrived without any boxes. After some discussion and agreeing to pay more they brought the boxes. The team had brought some clothes to wrap furniture, but I NEVER saw them to wrap anything! I even had to tell them to wrap the TV before putting int their van. Not only that they did not wrap the items, they dragged the white mattresses along dusty floor, corridor, and truck - leaving it all covered in black marks. This is a first for me. The also lost fasteners for furniture out of carelessness. So some of my furniture is still unusable - I have to go to buy the fasteners before I can complete the assembly. Probably the highlight of this experience was the fact that one of the things the moving team really stressed upon me is that they were working primarily for tips, and one of them was trying to establish a family with his girlfriend and needed more income. This was odd for a professional company. I complained to the supervisor who was always nice over the phone. She said she would follow up, but I am still waiting to hear from her after about a month.

was given a window of 12:00 to 1:00 they called me at 12:45 and said they would be a little late, at 3:45 I called them to see if they were still on there way and was told they were still on another job, at 4:30 I called and spoke to a manger and was assured they would still be there today finally at 5:45 when I called they said the were not coming today but would be there first thing 8:00 AM in the morning and would discount the move for my inconvenience. At 7;45 AM my phone rang and they said they were running a bit late finally they showed up at 8:30 AM but they didn't have any furniture blankets, bubble wrap or shrink wrap for the move so I had to run to the Home Depot and purchase these items. One of the movers was the owners son and he was dragging my furniture on the wood floors and dragging the furniture on it sides were they damaged quite a bit of furniture. would never use this company again. they offered a 10% discount for them not showing up on the day of the move. they agreed to a bit of a larger discount but i would of rather paid the price as agreed and had the move happen the day it was scheduled and had the items that were needed for the moveand professional movers not some kid that didn't want to be there.
