 + -1 moreMy entire house was low voltage wired by Custom Alarm. They did a great job of wiring the screens and getting smoke detector monitoring for us. Never again will I use a low cost up front installation coupled with a long term contract. Steve from Custom alarm quoted us far price for the installation with no monitoring contract required. In the end we did decide to contract with them for the monitoring. I would recommend them for security and low voltage work.

Description of Work: My home was built in 1990. I have had all of my doors and windows replaced with hurricane glass. Due to this - ALL of my window contacts, door contacts, and the existing alarm system needed to be replaced. The owner is courteous, professional, and honest. He explained what work was required and gave an estimate that included choices based on my current needs. I was never pushed into a sale and he seemed genuinely concerned that the purchase and install would make me happy in the long term. Considering the time spent before a sale was actually made - and then after, the value was outstanding. I will NEVER use a large firm like ADT again - and am sorry I did for years. I would be extremely comfortable using this vendor again. This is exactly why Angie's list was created.
