Description of Work: Amerispec was hired to do a full home inspection before I purchased the property. They missed 100% of the things that were wrong with the pool and the overall electrical system for the entire house. It was not until after I purchased the property and moved in that I found out that the pool pump and filter were not working and that there was an electrical overload on one side of the house that blew up and almost caused a fire when Dish Network was installing the network. The smoke in the house was out of control. It was coming from behind the wall and I had to turn off the breakers until a licensed electrical came and explained what happened. They also told me that if the home inspection was done properly, this should have been caught. I would never recommend them as they cannot be trusted. I also told the real estate agent that recommended them to stop recommending their services.

+ -1 more1) They stated having inspected the pool and the house electrical system and they did not. The pool pump was rusted and the filter cracked. They could not have turned it on as it was not operational. But they gave the pool a big thumbs up! 2) They stated in their report that the electrical system in the house was sound when none of the outlets were checked for grounding and the breaker box had too many rooms under one breaker, causing me to lose my new oven when I plugged it in? 3) I contacted them, explained the issue, requested a refund of about $1600 spent and they said they were not responsible.
Description of Work: Complete general home services inspection. Pool and spa inspection, Lead inspection.
