Dave's Fence

Great. We were reluctant to get a quote from Dave's because we had been told that they were much more expensive than other companies. That was not the case. They were comparable in price but when you factor in that they pulled permits as well as deal with the HOA, it was a much better deal. Mary was great to deal with and the salesperson was very helpful and not at all pushy. They installation was done in one day with no problems. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I chose to use another fence company; however, I am confident that Dave's would have built a very good fence. Everyone at the company was very professional. I made the appointment several days in advance and I like that they called me the day before to remind me of the appointment. Jeff came out, measured, and provided me with a written quote. They were neither the highest or the lowest quote that I received. He was completely prepared and even carried examples of each type of fencing in his car. He was able to answer all of my questions and, had the other company not been available, I would have been happy to have Dave's Fence install my fencing.

The professionalism of Dave's Fence is top notch. The estimator arrived when expected and explained the different fencing available. The office staff was very friendly and Mary was very helpful when we decided to add a second gate a week before our installation date. The crew was extremely efficient and polite. They reviewed exactly what was to be done before starting to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. They worked diligently all day and finished the entire job in one day. They did an excellent clean up job and even washed down the fence before leaving so it looked perfect and told us to call if we had any concerns. We are extremely pleased with our fence and the overall experience of dealing with Dave's Fence.

All was on time and completed in one day. Fence looks great and everything was as I wanted it. Workers did a great job and cleaned up after themselves and waterproofed the fence along with giving me instructions on how and when to do it again.Also gave lifetime warranty on any adjustments or board replacements. Great job and price.

I am completely satisfied with Dave's Fence. They respond to my phone call and message quickly and easy to communicate. The estimator Jeff is very nice and friendly. The estimate is very reasonable as well. The installers are also hard-working and efficient. My husband and I are very happy that we found Dave's Fence and will recommend it to anyone!

I used Angie's List to find two of the companies I called, including Dave's Fence. I compared my impressions of each company with the impressions of my renter, who met with representatives of each of the companies. We both agreed that Jeff, from Dave's Fence, had the best and most thorough sales presentation. The material samples he brought were of much higher quality than those of the other companies. The price estimate was detailed, and was neither the highest nor the lowest, and that was exactly what I paid. They have one person who handles all the permitting requirements, which made getting the required permit a simple process. All phone calls were responded to promptly, and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Once I signed the Commencement of Work agreement, everything was taken care of by them, which was very helpful to me since I live out of the area. The work was scheduled exactly when they said it would be - there were no unexpected holdups - so I was able to schedule a trip to be in town when they installed the fence. The workmen showed up on time and the quality of their work was outstanding. They were hardworking and polite. The yard was cleaned up perfectly when they left. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about the entire process. Thank you Dave's Fence, and thank you Angie's List for recommending them!

Absolutely the best! Highly professional staff, dedicated and diligent. All steps required were handled by Mary and other staff. They even replied to emails on a Sunday! :o) Could not be happier with the quality of the product and the efficiency of the staff involved.

Dave's fence is a great company, everyone I dealt with was helpful, prompt and courteous. The fence looks great and I would definitely use them again in the future. They finished the fence in less than a day and our yard slopes but they were able to make everything look good even with the large slope on both sides. Overall I am extremely pleased with our decision to use this company for our new fence.

Very professional and extremely courteous. Original visit from person who did measurements was great--he was helpful with ideas about how to solve some issues we had. Then crew showed up and was industrious and did a quality job. One piece turned out to not be the right color--they ordered a new one and came back promptly a week later to switch it out. Also, the person on the phone who does the scheduling and the permits is very knowledgeable and great to deal with. Overall a very positive experience (and I've used multiple other fence installers in the past who were not as good). I would most definitely recommend these guys.

If you are looking for a fence company that is truly professional and the most polite of any business around, thesem aren the guys you need to call. They were prompt and started to work right away. Dis a winderful job on taking down the old fence and putting up the new one. I would reccomend them to ANYONE that is in need of a new fence to replce the old one or just a new fence to install. They were friendly, fast, and professional. The gates now open well and appear to be secure. I did notice a loose section (just yesterday) and was a little disappointed to see that it wasn't discovered and taken care of in the inspection. Overall, I was pleased with the service.

I love this company!! From the time that I called to set up an estimate to the day they did the actual work, Dave's Fence has been an absolute joy to work with. I called to set up an estimate (based on their Angie's List reviews) and they had no trouble finding a day for Ryan to come out. I had set up a few other estimates, so I wasn?t set on using their company at first. I found a list of questions on the internet and wanted to compare each company?s answers before selecting who I was going to work with. The day of the estimate, Ryan showed up on time as promised. He was friendly and professional, but not pushy at all. He came prepared with samples and references and was able to answer my list of extensive questions. I really liked that they don't use subcontractors and they use metal reinforcements on all of the bottom rails (unlike a lot of the other companies). From what I?ve read, many companies leave these out or only use them in the gate because it?s a lot more expensive. After interviewing each company and getting their estimate, I definitely liked Dave?s Fence the best, but one of the other companies had a better price and was able to offer a comparable product. Ryan was able to match their price and was willing to let me pay in installments, so we moved forward! Mary at the office took care of me from that point on in the process. She is an absolute gem. Many times, a company may do quality work, but they stink at getting the details lined up or communicating with the client. Not Mary! She is completely on top of all of the paperwork and is super responsive, in addition to being a pleasure to work with. When I realized last minute that I wanted to extend the fence by 20 ft., I was really upset with myself and afraid that it would be an issue. Luckily, it was not a problem and they were very accommodating. She made the process easy and I felt really happy that I chose to work with this company. I was originally scheduled to have the fence built on 6/17 (about a month out), but I let Mary know that I would love to have it as soon as possible. When she called to let me know that they were able to squeeze me in on an earlier date due to a cancellation, I was ecstatic! The day of the work, I wasn?t able to be there until around noon. When I got home, three men were hard at work and the fence was already well underway. The men answered all of my questions and when I was concerned that the fence was a bit too high off the ground in some areas (my backyard isn?t completely level), they adjusted it, no questions asked. They pointed out where there would be small gaps between my neighbor?s existing fence and my fence, and showed me how they would fix that with extra planks. They worked extremely hard all day and were even nice to my dog! The finished product is beautiful, and I am extremely happy with it. I have nothing but good to say about this company and would use them for future projects with no hesitation. As a single girl and a new homeowner, I was a bit nervous about starting this project, but I?m thrilled that I did. Everybody at Dave?s Fence treated me as a valued customer and thanked me repeatedly throughout the process for choosing their company. They never made me feel ignorant, silly, or like I was a nuisance, and I really appreciate that.

Excellent! I had Dave's Fence out to replace my fence around the backyard. They did such a beautiful job I decided to get an estimate to replace a small inner fence that blocks my pond area and a gate to block my dogs from the meter readers. They did a wonderful job, were always prompt, courteous, friendly, and responsive to my needs. I highly recommend Dave's Fence.

Here is the emailed comment I sent to the contractor with the copy of the permit sign off: "The guys that did the install were awesome. I was impressed with how professional, accommodating, and respectful they were. They, and the gentleman that got them started (Dave?) are a credit to your company's reputation." I think that says it all. And, the initial contacts and sales process was pleasant as well.

I have about 180 feet of fence line in my back yard. My HOA mandates only 6-feet high, wooden shadow-box fencing. I got 4 estimates. During the estimation phase Dave's Fence was the most professional. Also, their price was the lowest. One other thing that attracted me was that they could have it done in one day. We have 3 small dogs and that was very important. I got on their schedule and they never had to reschedule. The day work was to commence 2 guys showed up at 9:15am. I talked with one gentleman and while the other got started removing my current fence. Soon two more guys showed up. They had my old fence out in about 2 hours and had already began installing the new. They finished by 6:30pm. The job was amazing and the fence looks great. They didn't use fencing panels. They built the entire fence, board by board, on-site. They even built the gates on-site. They did a great job.

From the initial contact with the company to the completion of the project, the people we dealt with were pleasant and professional. The crew even returned a second day to put finishing touches on our fence and the office followed up with a phone call to see if we were satisfied with the job. The cost was very reasonable as well. We would not hesitate to recommend Dave's to anyone.

This is a company that provides Workman's Compensation for it's employees. This also benefits the customer so that I could not be held responsible if the fence company's employee gets hurt doing his job or hurt due to my negligence (slip on something). I had no legal worries as this company does what it is suppose to do and has all required insurance and paperwork. This was very important to me. The entire job was done in approximately 7-8 hours and looks great. Each slat was put in individually so there is no "stepping" of the fence, yet my backyard is on a slope - they made it a nice smooth look. This is commercial grade PVC (heavy duty) so it may seem more expensive, but you do get what you pay for. The workmen also had to pull out wood posts that were cemented in (which should not have been as wood posts should not be cemented - can cause rot) and they were really cemented in and difficult to get out. They hauled off approximately 70 feet of wood fence and the old posts. Fence looks great and installers were very courteous and polite.

Awesome experience! Frank came out to give estimate, he was professional, not pushy at all. The ladies in the office were all polite and professional as well. The crew that installed the fence were patient when I asked questions. They did a beautiful job on my fence. I'm very happy with the results and would highly recommend Dave's Fence to anyone in this area.

I've used them before so I already knew how good they were. They were excellent. It was the third time I've used them. I liked everything about them. They were very professional, courteous, prompt and they did an exceptional job.
