Dave's Fence

They appeared disorganized at first. They were not prepared with gas/oil for a chain saw that was needed and I let them have what I had. I consistently asked for the fence to be level across the top and when the project was "done", I had to have them correct several obvious places that were running up and down. During the afternoon, I looked out at one point and one of the workers was napping on the trailer. Then he put on his sandals, as if he was done for the day around 3:30. The crew did not leave until 5:30 and were not happy with me because I kept finding places where they did not attach the fence to the posts. I just don't think they wanted to work that day.....hmmmmmmm.

Went great, The estimator was very professional, the installers knew what they were doing and did a great job installing the fence.

Excellent! They reminded me of the continued service that they provide for the fences that they install, (no cost for adjustments of their installed gates) and of maintenance that I still need to have done. Pressure washing and sealing. Ill have them do that done soon.

Technicians were skilled and well organized. Competitive pricing on what appears to be high-quality fencing and installation that is holding up after almost 2 years. Dave's was very responsive when I suddenly could not latch the wood fence after almost 1 year of installation. They came by asap and readjusted with no charge.

When I originally reached out to Dave's for an estimate, I was impressed with the responsiveness of the office staff and the estimator, who came out within a day or two and gave me an estimate of $3,058 to replace my old wood fence with PVC. I called the estimator back about a week later, and told him that I wanted to move forward with the project, and that my neighbors also wanted to replace their gate at the same time. The estimator told me to have my neighbor call the office to let them know, which they did on 8/25. I provided the survey the estimator needed, and submitted approval to my HOA. On 8/29, I called the estimator back and told him again I was ready to move forward. On 8/30, I emailed him with the same information. Having still not heard anything, I texted him on 9/01. Finally, on 9/02 I called the office, and was told "someone - probably the estimator" would call me back that day. I did not receive a call. Later, I found that someone had sent an email saying the estimator could not get by to initiate the contract until 9/13 (3 weeks after I initially told the estimator I wanted to move ahead!) As a final attempt to contact someone to help, I called the office on 9/08 and asked to speak to the manager. The person answering the phone told me that he was not available. When I asked for the manager's name, I was told that "I'm not allowed to give you his name, because then everyone who called would ask for him." While I am always skeptical of people who leave reviews when the work has not been completed, my interaction with this company has really been frustrating. Worst customer service experience I have ever had with an Angie's List provider. Very disappointing.

We didn't use them simply because it was such an ordeal to even get someone out for an estimate. They were pretty good about responding back to the initial message that j needed an estimate and stated someone would call me back next day. The gentleman that called me back asked about our needs and materials and informed me a member is scheduling would reach out to me in the next couple days. When scheduling called me she offered me one time, which didn't work with my schedule so she said she'd call back. She called back several hours later with another time 2 weeks away. At this point we decided to just skip the company all together since it seemed like they wouldn't have time for us anytime soon. Everyone I spoke with seemed nice enough but the scheduling department needs some serious work.

Called them a few months ago for a quote for a new fence. Said they would meet my request for an appointment date. When they called back offered a different date. Made plans to take off work and the day before they canceled to move it again. The office manager called back when I said I was going to mention this on Angie's list; felt that was the only reason they cared.

Estimator Nick, knowledgeable and friendly, no pressure. Team of four men, lead by Scott did a great job. They really know their business and work unbelievably hard in very hot and humid conditions. Couldn't be happier with our new fence and gates. Nice folks in office to work with. Would recommend to others!

Overall at the end of the day every thing turned alright. But on the day of Install, I did not see anybody show up by 10 AM, I called their office & the Company Representative inquiring about what is going on. No return call from the Company Representative who came home & gave the estimate. The lady at the office did not have a clue where the installer was & did not know why he has not showed up at the site. I waited for another hour or so & hoping some body would know more by now, I called the office and a gentleman said he is trying to get hold of the installer. I gave up & started making other plans for the day, at 3 PM Installer showed up & along with his helper completed the install till 7 PM. A month or so the Fence looks good, hope it passes the Test of time. The installation day started full of chaos with nobody knowing where the installer was & if the Fence was going to be done that day ended just fine with the Fence installed. Another bid for the Fence was lower, but wanted half the money upfront. Dave's Fence was paid the day after the installation.

This review is a follow up of the review dated April 7, 2015. Ryan gave us a follow up call, was very professional and helped resolve the issue smoothly. We were impressed by the way he handled the whole incident. This company surely keeps customer satisfaction as its priority. Appreciate doing business with them.

We love the fence! It looks wonderful! The crew who came and installed it were very professional and did an excellent job. I have never been more impressed then with this crew. They answered all my questions (which I had many) during the installation. The only thing that I would of changed was the office staff could not give me a time that the crew would show up, and I found that disappointing. I called in the AM and they would not even give me an estimate of any time. Other then that I am 110% satisfied.

Since I posted my comments on this blog, they contacted me and fixed the fence today at their cost. I was told my issues were not addressed properly due to a company move. I hope they get things in order and continue the customer service we expect form Dave's Fence. I'm glad they did finally resolve my issues and hope this doesn't happen again! Thanks for getting things done!

The sales and installation was fine. All went well with the installation, they did a great job. Fence looks great. The issue is service after the sale. One of the gates needed to be adjusted since it didn't latch anymore. I contacted them several times to get it fixed and it took weeks before they came out to fix it. I had to keep calling them back and complaining. Recently, my lawn guy damaged two sections of the fence and when Dave came out to repair the gate I showed him the damaged sections and to get me a quote to fix it. Well, here we go again, I'm hunting them down to get a quote! SO, overall, the quality of the fence is good, installation was good, service after the sales is extremely poor!! After you purchase the fence they don't care!! If I known that, I wouldn't have gone with them!! Customer service is important!!

Damion and his crew did a fast and great job installing our new white vinyl fence. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Dave's Fence provided a superior product and customer service. Also, Mike, our sales representative, kept us informed and up to date on the job and permitting.

This provider did a great job. They were efficient but did not rush the job. I had a problem with one of the workers. The owner called to see how things were going and when I told them about this issue, they immediately sent out a new worker.

Brandon, the estimator, was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The fences were installed on the day specified and they look great. There was a slight misunderstanding as to the size of the layout, but they made good on that at no extra charge. I would use them again and will recommend them to others.

The provider was very professional, their estimator came out and measured our property, even noticed our builder missed about 3 feet of sod they owed us. We got the builder to fix it, but without Dave's fence measuring to our property survey we would have missed it. We hired them and work was done in less than 4 hours, we have a huge yard. Workers were on time and professional, they worked very fast but we could tell the quality and process, they communicate well with each other. We are very happy with our fence. They made sure to walk the entire perimeter of the fence with us before the install and after completion. We will definitely recommend Daves Fence to family and friends.

They did a great job, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Dave gave me a quote for fencing in early August 2015. His pricing was a little lower than I expected but he gave me the Angie's List discount. Dave said the permits and HOA approval would take about 4 weeks or more before he could schedule the fencing to be installed. Dave managed to fit me a couple of weeks later which was much sooner than anticipated. Dave's guys showed up on time on the day they were scheduled...there were about 5 of them in total. They finished installing the fencing itself in a few hours time but the gates would not fit as they did not have the right hardware and it had to be ordered. Two workers returned about 4 days later with the correct hardware and installed the gates. The workers were all fast, courteous and did an excellent job. The fencing is just beautiful. I would recommend Dave's Fence all day long!

When I first called they had a long waiting list, so I tried some other providers. None of them came through with anything. So I went back to Dave's and said put me on the waiting list. They booked me for the estimate and a very professional estimator came out. They then scheduled the date, showed up and within a few hours the fence was done. They handled the permitting and everything. I am going to book them for the next part of the fence next month. They were a very professional company.

It worked out very well. Out of all the companies I received estimates from, he was the most reasonable in terms of price.

We have used Dave's Fence for multiple projects but I was initially unsure if they would be able to assist me on my latest needs. I have a rental property that needed some work done. It was not a big project, just some minor things and a repair. I called and discussed my needs and they treated me and my project just as if it were a new, large project. They sent someone out to review the site, gave me an onsite estimate, and processed the project efficiently just as previous projects. The crew was very courteous and went above and beyond. I was so happy they were able and willing to help me with my needs. They take care of their customers and value the business relationships they acquire. I do not look for other companies because I could not be happier with the service, products, and professionalism I have received over and over again.

I have to admit after I called these folks on a Friday and didn't hear back from them immediately, I gave them a poor rating for not returning my phone call. I COULD NOT HaVE BEEN MORE WRONG ABOUT THEM. Ryan contacted me on Wednesday and said he was sorry it had taken someone a few days to get back in touch with me he immediately came out and gave me a favorable estimate and got to work pretty quickly after I'd approved the price. They were professional, courteous and I am so happy with my new white vinyl fence. These guys are simply the best, the absolute best.

The fence and gates install went like clock work. A five man crew showed up on time and took down the old wood fence and gates and installed the new Tan Vinyl and it looks fantastic. The estimate was right on and not one hiccup. Dave's took care of the permitting and everything needed and hauled away the old wood fence. They did all the take down and installation in one day. The crew was very polite and worked very hard at getting everything perfect. They left my place cleaner than it was than when they got there. I could not be more pleased with the job they did and the quality of the work. My neighbors really like it also. I highly recommend Dave's Fence.
