The parts and labor together cost less than the price for a screen plus shipping from an online supplier. They were recommended by a nearby appliance dealer and performed excellently.

Overall it went Magnificient! In addition to service repairs, Winchester's also sells and will builds pc's to your liking for very reasonable cost. The service department staff is superior. And I mean from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave, to include telecommunications. Actually, the entire staff that I dealt with was extremely professional, courteous and provided the utmost customer service. Just so you know, I'd like to share my working knowledge of doing business with a variety of computer companies. I retired from 28 years of service with the US Federal Government. I served in several capacities for varying agencies as I loved the mobility and variety of task, (i.e...Contracting Officer, Office Manager, Property Manager, LAN Administrator, and Secretary). In each job I was responsible for purchasing, monitoring, repairing, identifying the agency pc needs as well as justifying the purchase and reliability of the purchased goods. The Federal Government has contracts with many companies, and at times I was purchasing large quantities of computers. Regarding service updates and adding new software, the volume was also small to large quantities of computer needs. I can say that I have personally dealt with approximately 75 computer vendors dealing with sales, awarding contracts, and service. As you can imagine my working knowledge is quite extensive. Over those years, I never had a computer company treat me as well as Winchester computers. They stand by their service and they did not proceed with any work without keeping me involved and obtained my approval as was necessary. Also, while my working pc knowledge is quite extensive technology has made major leaps and bounds, albeit, Winchester service staff did not hesitate in explaining my job at hand in layman's terms in order for me to comprehend. I have referred friends, family and neighbors. Winchester Computer is simply awesome! I commend them for their service and honesty, and I truely recommend them.

Put laptop in after fell off a car top to be check to see what worked. Monitor did not work, and did not switch to external wanted to know if hard drive, memory, and cd was good. in there a weak and no one called, had to call them, then my sister picked it up without my knowledge and they just gave it to her without even calling me to see if it was Ok. Did not know that tell I went to pick it up myself and they said motherboard did not work and did not check anything else case would not switch to external monitor. Paid 4 dollars for them to tell me what I already knew and for them to give my laptop to someone who walked in off the street

Technicians checked my computer and found the problem. Which was not economical to repair. Commissioned a new computer to be built to my specifications, using some parts I already owned such as a current operating system and a high performance graphics card. I was able to receive the new computer about one week later. I have been very satisfied with my purchase.
