They are very knowledgeable about the system. And when they could figure out the problem they brought in a company rep from the manufacturer for free.

Installed heat pump, the cost was included in the quote from the builder of my house. They were very knowledgeable. When I talked to the designer of the engineer who laid out the system, I told him everything I was looking for and he provided everything I wanted.

We had the outside unit and the unit in the garage installed. We are very pleased with the job. The unit is much quieter.

Called one day, there the next. They schedule a time frame but when tech is on the way to my house they call me again and give me an ETA. They perform my annual inspections also and the same approach used on that. First rate. Techs are professional and well qualified.

They provided a competitive quote and I had confidence from that start that they would do a good job at a good price. The installers were professional and when they ran into a problem during the installation, they worked hard to get over the hurdle and complete the installation without having to do a and quot; work around.and quot;

We contacted Von-Aire when we purchased our house in July. It did take them a while to get back to us, but when they did, their price was very competitive. We accepted their bid to replace the ductwork in the attic - not something you do in FL in summer, so we set a tentative date as and quot;when it cools off.and quot; They contacted us as a reminder and we set a date for the Monday after Thanksgiving. That day, they showed up on time and worked all day. They finished the second day and we had all the right ducts and vents and returns, just where they were supposed to be. They cleaned up after themselves and even repaired a nick they made in the ceiling installing one of the returns. We would and will certainly use them again for heat and air conditioning repairs and replacement when the time comes.

I won't EVER use them again. It is true that I purchased a programable thermostat from Home Depot and it is true it probably did take about 2 months to make a followup call because I had more pressing issues in my life. However I am taking time now to make sure I change their rating to an and quot;Fand quot; in all areas. The 'Dosand quot; - do use another AC business and the and quot;Don'tsand quot; - Don't bother to use Von Aire. When I had an opportunity to contact them I did ask if they would install the programable thermostat I purchased, the tech on the original service call had no problem using my tools and materials before, so that way I knew I would get a programable thermostat installed instead of replacing the current non programable one with the same thing I had for a second time! What I call unreasonable is the need to even purchase a thermostat from Home Depot at all or make a followup call at all. VON AIRE should have installed a programable thermostat that I had requested on the original service call. The provider still misses that point even in their response. Yes they offered to install another thermostat but I would have to pay for it again. Wow no mention of the shoddy repair? Oh right they blamed that on the technician who and quot; no longer works' there. I should not be surprised that they are now blaming the customer too. That is always a tried and true way to win back customers, good business practice! There are plenty of other AC businesses available and I will continue to use them.

In the past four years, we have purchased two full heating/AC systems from Von Aire--one for our primary home and one for a rental property. While the installations were adequate, I am not at all happy with their warranty service. Over Memorial Day weekend, the AC went out at our primary residence. We paid $120 for a Saturday service call, and they couldn't fix AC because they don't carry the part. Then today (Tuesday after Memorial Day), they charged a $263 labor charge for ONE HOUR labor to replace a part that was under warranty. Plus they scheduled me last in the day after a full weekend of no AC. And this after we recently purchased two full systems from them. Needless to say, I'm not a happy camper.

.They are reasonable.. We found him through a friend of ours thats a local builder, he does what he says he is going to do. He really does a good job.

Called Von-Aire to service our AC units which they installed when the house was built in 2005. We purchased the home in 2008 and never had service on the units. When I called they just happened to have a service tech in the area and was able to come out that afternoon. The service technician did an excellent job checking all of the components of our AC units and performed the necessary maintenance to keep them running efficiently. I had some questions about our system and he answered them completely and competently. The job was finished in a little over 1 hour and I feel confident that our AC unit will run perfectly this summer.

He came out on time, he did what he had to do and he left. I would recommend him to friends and family. He cleaned up after his work, and he was very nice.

The service was good. They cleaned up after themselves. They did what they said they were going to do. I was satisfied with them.

I bought a house in need of TLC and the heat pump had to be replaced. I got several estimates and decided on Von Aire. The gentleman who came and gave me an estimate was on time and very professional. Due to time constraints (I needed this done by Dec. 31 for a tax credit), they started the job very quickly and were done in two days. The work was excellent and i have had no problems with the unit. I was very happy with the job they did and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. This was another example of finding a good provider on Angie' List.

They had to make several trips for the work. They show up on time and they seem to do good work. Their prices seem to be reasonable.

I called this company, as well as seveal others, for an estimate after finding them on Angie's List. Mr. David Quinn came to make the estimate, and he was on time and very friendly and courteous. We were working on a fairly short time frame, and he arranged to get the job done when I needed it. The job was very well done and professional. Their crew showed up as agreed and completed the job in one day, and left the site very clean. This was my first time using Angie's List and it came out better than expected. I would definitely use this company (and Angie's List) again. Thanks Von-Aire!

I like the installation. Von-Aire was quick and was here when they said they would be. I would say to ask for Mike, he is terrific. Mike thrives on installations from scratch.
