+ -1 moreI did work for this company and they screwed me out of $6,000 dollars the work i performed was above and beyond and they cant deny that but because of his bad financial investments with his partner they are bankrupting the other company he owned and not going to pay his vendors he blames on his partner but its his responsibility also

+ -1 moreMy tenant and I were very concerned because it was going to be going into the 30's that evening. I called Chris and he was very responsive. Even though he was very busy because of the frigid temps, he made it to my rental property and fixed the different issues. He had the parts with him to fix it. He left the place clean and made sure not to let out the dog or cats too. He is a very considerate and conscientious professional in his field.

+ -1 moreIf there was a negative star rating I would give it. These gentleman are the furthest thing form profffesional that I have ever seen! The owner doesnt seem to care about customer service. Doesnt return calls or texts. The biggest problem is an employee named "Dave". This guy is angry, rude, and obnoxious! He slammed my front door everytime he went through it. He also complained about the fact that they shouldnt be doing an attic install in July! Next time your air goes out try and tell the A.C. unit to hold out till November! He muttered profanity about me and my attic all day long. I had met him once before and had the same experience with him. I brought this to the owners attention and felt blew off. If you dont like hot attics don't become and A.C. repair man! If I did'nt like the water I wouldn't become and boat captain! Do your self a favor and hire someone who is proffessional and also has at least an understanding of what customer service is!

+ -1 moreChris and his technician/installer Dave arrived at the agreed time with my new system in tow. They speedily but carefully removed the old system and installed the new one. Once finished with the installation, Dave wiped the unit to a clean shine and tidied the worksite by removing all packaging material and even raking the immediate area around the system. Dave also installed a new user-friendly Honeywell thermostat that Chris included in the original quote. Lastly, Chris came into our home to perform a demo on using the thermostat and to provide helpful suggestions on the use of the thermostat settings to maximize the efficiency of the system. Before leaving, Chris provided us with a file containing all the specific data related to our new system as well as the warrantee information. I will not hesitate to recommend Sylvester's Air to my friends and neighbours. We asked Chris for extra business cards for that purpose. Many thanks to Chris and Dave for an important job well done!
Description of Work: Our old heating and a/c package suddenly died on us and we needed a replacement ASAP. I immediately began researching the internet for local HVAC companies. I called six companies and requested a quote and the name of the manufacturer of the system that would be installed. I called Sylvester's Air last and I was most impressed with Chris Sylvester's eagerness to help us. He answered all our questions thoroughly and without hesitation, unlike the five other companies I contacted (it was like pulling teeth in some cases). He even volunteered to visit our home to verify the package we will need and to answer any other questions we may have - Chris was on my property within a half hour. We chose Sylvester's Air that same evening because 1) Chris quoted the second lowest price of the six companies who provided quotes, 2) Chris will install a better quality system than the majority of his competitors, and 3) We were most impressed with Chris Sylvester's professionalism and eagerness to answer all our questions clearly and concisely.
