Spanos Motors

Steve Radican is the best. Knows his stuff. Engine noise with our BMW X5 (we bought it from Steve and Spanos). Mechanics recommended rebuild - $$$$. Steve sent us to a local BMW Master Mechanic (Mike Wilson @ Wilson BMW Repair). Turned out to be a $500 cam adjustment problem. Whew! Thanks Steve.

Too bad there is not less than 1 star.I did check with a local independent mechanic. He said they were good and honest. We must have different definitions of those words. They had a car listed that I was interested in. I wanted to have it checked by a mechanic. They said that if I put down a $500 dollar deposit they would deliver the car to my mechanic. I did that. 3 business days later I after calling several times to see if the car was delivered to the mechanic then Stephen said "Didn't I get his message? The car did not pass Spanos inspection. Transmission problem and a rear-end problem. They were going to sell it at auction." I said fine just issue me a refund. He said no problem that would be taken care of by noon that day. After days of un-returned calls and emails the status is as follows. 1) No refund issued. 2) The car I was interested in is still listed on their site. Bottomline, in my opinion they are selling snake oil. They have cars listed they have no intention of selling. They collect deposits they have no intention of returning. They have the worst customer service in the world. Go else where.

Very disappointed I was looking forward to them fixing my car and no one ever called me back

Every vehicle was significantly below retail. Their showroom is awesome and they have a huge selection. I have referred them to all of my friends and family. Whatever minor issues we have had over the years, their service dept has taken care of promptly. Their sales associates are knowledgeable and best of all not in the least bit pushy. I have bought tires, had them preform oil changes, even remove dings, each time with no complaints whatsoever. Their website is very user friendly and updated daily.

The water pump blew on my '96 Miata - in Orlando. I was driving to St. Pete. Called AAA - they towed the car to Spanos. Called Adam, runs Service Dept at Spanos, and set everything up for repairs. Got a rental car to continue my trip. They replaced the water pump and gave me the option of replacing belts in the areas they were working - a very good idea. No pressure to do additional work, simply talked about the benefit of replacing things while the labor costs are already on the board for the water pump. I was on a business trip - returned to town and my car was ready and waiting for me. This Service Department never lets me down. They do my routine maintenance and any critical repair that pops up. I recommend Spanos to anyone who asks about auto repairs.

It went well when we bought the cars but now that issues have arrived they are refusing to help me and not returning phone calls. Two lug nots are messed up, the lug nuts are cross spread, and the have to break the lugs in order to get the tire off, and I'm stuck because they will not help me. The owner and the store mgr wont return phone calls either.

They are very friendly. They are professional. They have good prices.
