I inquired about replacing a belt on a splendide dryer. I was told they cannot get parts and might have to call the manufacturer. The guy Idid not have a clue what the dryer was? I asked if they had any idea of any one else that might be able to repair it. It is a smaller dryer that the large house models and you would think that having a large service department it would be an easy job.

As a long-time customer of Pioneer Appliance Company, it saddens me to be writing this review. I have purchased multiple appliances from this company and was previously happy with the products and installations. My recent purchase of a refrigerator could not have been worse. Everything was fine, until it came time to deliver and install the new fridge. At the time of the sale, the salesman Terry Dean asked me what floor my condo was on, I told him it was the second floor. A single installer showed up, quickly determined he couldn’t possibly handle this installation himself, and left immediately. After calling back into Terry, I was informed that it would be an additional $200 for them to send out 2 installers the following day. This company claims to be professional and has been in business long enough to know that they would need 2 installers. After much back and forth they sent out 2 installers, not budging on charging me FOR THEIR INCOMPETENCE. The 2 installers showed up and not only damaged the refrigerator, but my walls and floor also. After speaking to Patrick about this, they were supposed to send someone out on 11/28/22 to look at the damage. They of course didn’t show up, and STILL offer no form of customer service, and have nothing but excuses to try to get out of repairing what THEY DAMAGED. I have now demanded that they file a claim with their insurance and send an adjuster out to correct the damage caused by the incompetent installers. As I stated I’m a long-time customer, and do NOT appreciate this company so blatantly screwing its elderly customers and not keeping their word. I have already informed all my friends and family in the area to steer clear of this joke of a business. They are more than happy to take your money and continue charging you for their own issues while consistently demonstrating their lack of morals and integrity. This has been the worst experience purchasing an appliance I have ever had, and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, and if this isn’t resolved, I will seriously consider lodging a complaint with the Florida Attorney General. Do yourself a favor, don’t give these dishonest people a dollar. Update: FOUR weeks later Pioneer Appliance still can't be bothered to provide any level of decent customer service, let alone to a return customer and senior citizen, not even so much as a call back. This speaks volumes to the kind of business this is, and how management truly feels about its customers.

David at the Edgewater store was very patient, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Wayne delivered and set up my refrigerator. He was professional and courteous. Wayne is a full time employee of Pioneer Appliance which is a plus rather working with " some iffy third party" service people. It is a pleasant to do business with a local family business rather the big box stores.

I constantly called and spoke to several people from 8/10 until yesterday a woman called yesterday 8/17and stated the owner told he to call. She stated it was no longer their problem I should contact the warranty people and the store I brought it from. In the meantime I am left with no hot water no dishwasher and mold. I was also told that that mold was already there which is totally untrue. These people are totally unresponsive and have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Also I am 74 and have copd and I am the caregiver for my 94 year old mother. BEWARE of these people and their family owned business. They have no intention of doing anything I am stuck because of the total incompetents and their lack of responsibility. I also have pictures that I will post on social media
Description of Work: they were supposed to repair my dishwasher that is under warranty. After 4 trips and 8 weeks it is not only not repaired but the technicians Alex and Paul pulled it out of the space and placed it in the garage. They claimed it would take 2 weeks to get the parts . Alex said he turned off the hot water not true the line was leaking into the dishwasher space. I only discovered the water when it began to come through onto the back porch. I called and was asked why I didn't find it sooner. When I told him I have animals and a small child and I blocked it off the partition between the sink cabinet and the dishwasher was wet and moldy and someone needed to come look at it . All communication was cut off.

We purchased a Speed Queen Washer from Pioneer. Their price was lower than his competitor. Sales person (Cody) was very nice, gave us a good price. They delivered the machine a bit later than promised but still on same day. Installed the unit and it is working fine. Can't ask for anything more!

My microwave was not heating. It is approximately seven years old and part of a wall unit. I had originally intended to replace the entire microwave. Unfortunately, this was not possible due to the fact I would have had to replace the oven as well as they both function off the same electrical panel. After much research and frustration, I called Pioneer Appliances where I first purchased the wall unit. They sent a repair man who analyzed the problem and gave me an approximate price for repairing the microwave. I felt the price of $395.00 which included the labor, the part, and the analysis, was far more reasonable since the $3,000.00 it would have cost me to replace the entire unit. My oven is it works beautifully and looks new, so it seemed ridiculous to replace it as well. Therefore, I feel I made the right decision to just repair the microwave instead of replacing it and now, it should last me for about seven years, if all goes well. The repair men were very professional, worked diligently, and left everything as clean as they found it. I would recommend Pioneer Appliances without hesitation.
