McAlister Flooring has been our go to flooring Company in the Daytona area for 20 years. Every five years we have a hurricane whether "we need it or not" that destroys our beachfront Condominium. Ian which was supposed to be merely a tropical storm deposited several hundred gallons of seawater into our place. Butch McAlister and his team led by Doug Jones went to work and replaced our carpet in a very efficient, professional and quick way. I would give them a highest rating without hesitation or reservation. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best and you get what you pay for.

Very punctual for the initial estimate. Told me he would call me back with the price. Then Drew never did. I had to call him back only for someone else to answer and say you'll have to call his personal cell to get a hold of him which I did and I got no response from that.

Everyone was very professional from the sales person to the installers.. The installers were very professional and did a great job with little mess. They were always concerned about our needs. I would hire them again. They would rip up a section of the old carpet and padding, roll it up and put it in their truck. Because of the size of some rooms, they needed to piece pieces together. Each piece was used and there was little left over.

Beautiful carpet. Showed up on time and completed job on time. They had to return to correct an error that was not their fault, tile was laid wrong which screwed up the carpet location in doorways.

McAlister Flooring is the best in my book! Steve the sales rep went above and beyond many many times in getting our flooring needs met. He worked with me long distance in purchasing and arranging installation. He was attentive during the installation ensuring we were satisfied at every turn. He followed up several times to provide additional requested services as well as to be sure we were knowledgeable on how to properly care for our new flooring. Steve is a gem!!!! The installers, Steve and Herman, are fantastic. They were professional and informative throughout the install process; they took extra care on the few times that personal items had to be moved during the install; they took time to explain what they were doing during the installation and made suggestions on how best to handle situations that were peculiar to our situation. They returned to our home promptly when phoned to take care of a few minor issues with the install. Totally satisfied with their service so much so, that we have requested them for a future tile installation job for a project in the kitchen. McAlister Flooring is A1!!!!!!!

The tile is just beautiful and the installer did it exactly the way we wanted it - on the diagonal. The carpet is wonderful and the installation flawless. But here's what made McAlisters stand out. We have a condo and when the installers removed the old carpet, they found a water leak in one of the closets. It would have been ages before we found it and they could have easily installed the new carpet and we would have never known the difference. We were out of town, but they called us immediately and told us what they found. Without being prompted, they notified the condo maintenance people who discovered a roof leak. The leak was fixed, and the closet repaired before we returned. They finished the installation a few weeks later. I used this company previously and I can promise you, this is the ONLY company I will use in the future.
