+ 2 moreWe've lived here since October 2011 so we've been using them since then. We pay a monthly bill for everything but my wife takes care of the finances. I would recommend them to others.
Description of Work: I used Massey Services Inc for lawn and yard work. They do mowing, edging, weeding, irrigation and pest control. I got the whole package from them. Their last visit was Friday to mow, edge and weed. Then they come back to spray the yard and shrubs.

+ -1 moreTerrible! Massey blamed the problems on lack of water causing "drought stress" to the lawn as the only problem. At the time we fired the lawn service, we still had a Massey Pest contract. The pest control person stated that she had noticed how bad the lawn was and, knowing we had their lawn service (a separate division), wondered why the problems hadn't been addressed. She was not surprised when we told her we had canceled the lawn service.
Description of Work: When we moved to Florida in 2004, we contracted with Massey for lawn care (weed, feed, bugs) based on the recommendation of a relative in the area. At the time we contracted with them, the lawn was green and weed free. After less than a year of service, the lawn was full of weeds and bugs even though we called for service. The company responded, but the problem was never corrected. We fired them, and on our own restored the lawn to its former weed and bug free state. In 2009, again with the same recommendation of the local family member who still had Massey service and a beautiful weed and bug free lawn, we again engaged them for lawn service. Again, the lawn went quickly downhill - full of weeds and bugs, and, as we were working and not at home, all we had were the written reports left on our door to confirm Massey had come out. In 2010, the lawn was basically all weeds. Massey said it was a watering problem, but increased watering did not resolve the problem. We again fired them. At this point, our lawn is still all weeds and bugs. Massey did come by and left a note that the lawn was in terrible shape and asked for us to call them to restart the service. Our relative's lawn is still beautiful and weed and bug free. Could it be because the family member is a PGA professional? Perhaps that's what it takes to receive good service from this company.

+ -1 moreTerrible! After 2 months weeds were worse. Service that cuts and trims lawn said it looked like they were feeding the weeds instead of killing the weeds. Got lots of talks from them but weeds are much worse now than before treatments. Canceled service and got refund from credit card. Avoid Massey like the plague!
