Went to Best Buy (20 minutes). Stood in line (10 minutes) Was told I needed appointment. Made appointment. Went home (20 minutes) Came back during appointment time (20 minutes) Told to wait (10 minutes) Was told they were going to send computer to Kentucky. Went home (20 minutes) Got automated phone call next day saying job was finished and pick up the computer. Went to store (20 minutes) Was told I needed appointment. Waited until someone talked to me. Was told robocall was a mistake. Someone had marked the job complete. Said they would open new ticket. Called national Geek Squad the next day. Was told the job was complete and pick up computer. Was then told there was no ticket and job had not been started. Asked for appointment to pick up computer to take it somewhere competent people worked. Went to pick it up (20 minutes) Asked to wait...again (10 minutes) Manager explained that they had forgotten to open new ticket and apologized. Went home with computer after 3 wasted days. Called Samsung. Was on hold for five minutes. Was given free shipping label in less than a minute. Vowed never to deal with these people again.

They did an excellent job, arrived timely, cleaned up, personable, professional and very patient. Spent a great deal of time. Service well worth the cost.
Description of Work: Installed TV bracket on wall, completely re-wired my TV and all components, programmed remotes, answered all questions on operation.

30 damaintenance contract before the service is performed.ys after I had it serviced, the same problem returned. I took it back in and they wouldn't stand by their work without a maintenance contract. In other words, they don't gurantee their work unless you buy a

l bought two cell phones last month from Best Buy with 2/years service. I had them put on a screen cover to protect the phones. All went well. They told me to bring my apple I Pad in to get a screen cover on it. I was told it would be 14.95-21.95. I went in Jan. 8th and was sent to two different sales associates. Each one stated they could not put a screen cover on anymore. I was then told I would need one of their Geeks and had to fill out paper work. Which I did. Then they told me it would be $51.00. I told them what the phone sales person told me. It did not matter that is now the price. I told them to forget it. I told the person at the front that greets (information desk) what had happened. He could not believe how much they were going to charge me. Instead of getting a Manager everyone just did nothing. I was very disappointed in how I was treated.

I wasted almost two months waiting for a part they did not have and were never going to get! This is not the first problem I have had with Best Buy but it is my first complaint on Angie's List. It useless to complain to the company, they JUST DON'T CARE!
Description of Work: Haier WD-2800-01 Lint Filter $3.12 Availability: Currently out of stock but available as a Special order, Order Now Condition: New This is what I found on there web-site that the part was out of stock, but could be "Special Ordered". I went ahead an ordered and payed for the part online. I received a email next day that said the part was out of stock and the expected arrival date for shipment was going to be the next Thursday. When that day came I received another email stating that the part was on back order and it would be ready to ship the next Thursday. This repeated it's self 5 more times, so I called the company "The Parts Store.com" part of Best Buy, and was given the number for Haier USA in California. I called them and they said it was out of stock in the US, but may be on a boat coming from China. He said he would look into it and email me a response, which he did, that the model I had was not being manufactored anymore, and there were no parts for it! What you see at the top of the page is from there web-site that I copyed on 3/19/2012. On that same day I found 49 items that shower OUT OF STOCK, BUT COULD BE SPECIAL ORDERED.

Best Buy in Daytona Beach was hired to install three TVs that were purchase and pre-order a phone. I am loyal to the Best Buy in Brentwood, TN, thinking they were all the same. Daytona Beach Best Buy has the worst customer service and are rude to the client. We bought five televisions sets to be installed at our condo, the brackets were placed but the TVs were not installed. I had to pa an electrician to come and finish the work. When I called to speak with customer service the guy was so rude, he wanted to tell me what was done instead of coming out to see what was left undone. Had he taken the time to come out instead of arguing, he would have seen what wasn't done. Today, I went in and had an encounter with Nik a supervisor in the mobile department. Another example of poor training of an employee. Do not purchase anything that has to be installed from this Best Buy. I question the Florida Best Buys.
