+ 6 moreIt went great. This company is extremely reliable. John is very knowledgeable about his craft, techniques, and materials. He often has creative and helpful ideas about design or solving a problem. They are also professional and were very respectful of my home. And, excellent about cleaning up as they worked. They did an amazing job keeping the dust out of the house when they had to cut a doorway through my concrete block wall. I have used them repeatedly. My house was built in 1954 and certainly needed some updates. I am thrilled to have found a company that does such a great job at a reasonable price and actually shows up when they say they will. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I have used this provider on multiple occasions. John did a total remodel of my main bathroom. He removed the tub, installed a shower pan, tile in the shower and on the floor, hung drywall and put a beautiful finish on it, then painted. He also did a major overhaul of the half bath. It was originally an outside bathroom. He cut through the interior wall, raised it to the same level as the interior floor, ran an A/C vent into the bathroom, installed a new toilet and vanity, installed a fan/light. In addition, he painted the exterior of the house. He did an excellent job. He power washed, sealed cracks in the concrete block and applied some type of primer/base coat. The next day he applied the paint. He even pulled back the dirt and mulch to make sure no old paint would show along the bottom edge of the house. John also replaced my kitchen counter-top. He also did some smaller handyman types tasks - added a fan vent to the bathroom and kitchen since I had none, replaced some damaged laminate wood flooring.

+ 0 moreWe went and got all new shower title and for the bedroom wall. John took the all of the old title out of the shower and found out the other guy that did it didn't do it right at all. I asked a lot this time and how he was going to do it. John took out time to tell me any thing and showed me the right way it should have been done the first time. They cleaned up after they where done. I never had that before. I would have John back again. Before John came this is the 3rd time I had to get it fix and John find the problem and fixed it. John had to replace the whole wall from water damage from the shower pipe that wasn't glued.
Description of Work: Repair the Shower title seat and floor and repair the bedroom wall where the leak from the shower.

+ 2 moreEBG is very professional, skilled, punctual and responsive to the homeowners request. All of the work done by the provider has met all expectations for quality and completion time. The provider has done a variety of jobs requiring various skills and competency. Our interior painting job required use of numerous colors and the meeting of different colors in the same room and painting rooms with vaulted and extra high ceilings. All rooms met homeowners satisfaction and provider also shared an idea for the wall by the jetted tub creating a marbleized appearance. EBG is exceptionally neat and cleans up as if they were never in the home. I highly recommend EBG without reservation.
Description of Work: On the most recent encounter, EBG installed large patio door blind and smaller blind and power washed driveway and sidewalk. A week earlier the provider installed pavers in a 16Ft x12 Ft courtyard. In 2015/2016, the provider painted the entire interior of our home. He also installed tile backsplash in the kitchen and did minor carpentry work.

+ 11 moreAs I was able to have it done, John Cox completely renovated the interior of my home. He started by re-doing a bathroom project where I had been ripped off. I had not done my due diligence. John saved the day. The bathroom now looks like a spa. I called him back to do various projects. Ultimately, he gutted and changed the footprint of the kitchen. It is gorgeous. He gutted another bathroom and built crown molding throughout the house. The latest project was replacing carpeting, old slate, old tile and damaged laminate. I now have beautiful barn board tile planks throughout. The workmanship is impeccable and the cost was very reasonable. Not only is John a talented craftsman, he is a principled person. He always made sure any leftover materials were returned to the vendor, so I would receive a credit. Who does that?
Description of Work: The latest job by John Cox was completely replacing all of my flooring and trim.

+ 1 moreJohn gave a price and a time to start and finish up front and he did exactly what he said. He was good to work around our time table we are not early risers . He was helpful in all selections that had to be made ( tile and paint color ).
