Working with Scott Wilson and his team was great. Scott is very detailed and patient. Before signing up with Professional Windows, I obtained 3 other estimates and after each one I would follow up with Scott with more questions or details and he quickly and honestly provided answers. He and his team took great care while working in our home and accomplished a very large installation with in the time promised. We had a couple of mix-ups in the process, but Scott was a true professional and we were able to reach a positive solution. We enjoyed our experience and would most certainly use Professional Windows again and have already recommended him to our family and friends.

I met with Scott regarding impact doors/windows and shutters a month ago. Scott was professional and knowledgable. He told me I would have a proposal within a week. He called me a week later to advise me he had a family emergency and told me it would be several days before he could get me the quote which was fine by me. It has now been over 3 weeks and I have never heard from Scott again. It's very unfortunate since I had every intention of hiring him for the job.

Scott was a the most professional contractor I've worked with since moving to Florida ten years ago. He went out of his way to find the exact windows I wanted. His crew was polite, efficient and left clean surfaces when done. He promptly sent someone to fix a minor problem (not even of his doing). I would recommend him and his crew without reservation.

So pleased with the service we received from Professional Window. When the rep came out to our house my husband and I were unsure as to whether we wanted to install regular or impact windows and doors. He was very informative and with no pressure pointed out the different options and the price differences between several products. In the end we went with all impact, and couldn't be happier. The installers showed up promptly and were very professional. The house was immaculate when they left!!! Every time I had to contact them I got calls back quickly and was assured if we should have any problems or questions don't hesitate to call. My husband and I would highly recommend this company for anyone interested in replacing their windows or doors!!!!

Professional Window is completely UNPROFESSIONAL! The ad for this company in the June edition of the Angie's List magaine does not contain the company's full street address. Furthermore, the 888-402-1246 number does not work. I was able to obtain another number for this company and called and spoke with a male who made an appointment with me for Wednesday at 5 p.m. My husband was in the hospital on the day of the appointment, and I raced home by 4:30 in order to be there on time. Not only did no one from this company ever show up, but no one ever called to cancel/reschedule the appointment!

I interviewed 5 providers, and Professional Window was the only one where the owner of the company came out to do the estimate and discuss the work. Two of the providers wouldn't provide me with a written estimate, but wanted to schedule an appointment to waste an hour "discussing my options", even though I asked for the lowest cost. They refused to give me any information about the thickness of the glass or manufacturers because they had so many options. Scott immediately gave me a brochure on the company who manufacturers the windows that he installs, provided suggestions for noise abatement (I live on a busy road), and had a written estimate detailing all the windows, specs and prices with 24 hours, both with and without the noise abatement option. I had to wait several weeks to get an estimate from the other two companies willing to provide an estimate without another sales pitch. Not only are 3/16 inch window standard with Professional Windows (the other two were 1/8 inch), but the estimate was also the best, so I went with them. I so glad that I did - all the Angie's list reviews I read about this company were spot on. The installation took two days, because I had 3 sliding glass doors (one was a pocket door, which another company said they didn't do and would replace with a regular door - Scott's work crew had no problems putting in a new pocket door), a bay windows, 4 impact and 2 regular windows. Each day when I came home, all the debris had been removed/swept up - there was no indication that they'd been there except that I had some lovely new windows. After everything was installed, Scott came by the check on the installation, found that one window wasn't gliding smoothly, and had his workman come back the next day to fix it. He even has a window cleaner come in to clean all the windows once they're all installed! Although I have accordion shutters on all my windows, I asked about windows that might cut down on street noise a bit, as all of my bedrooms face the street, and Scott suggested impact windows. The cost wasn't that much more ($400), and I find that they're worth their weight in gold - I don't hear any traffic noise anymore!. The windows are beautiful - they look and feel solid (not flimsy like some of those you buy at the hardware store), the installation was excellent, and having the owner of the company coming out to check and make sure the installation was up to his standards is pretty much unheard of. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

The compnay owner made contact with us the week of installation to discuss the day that the work would be done, What was great is a suggestion was made to actually install them a day sooner..........this was very good news as we wanted them to be a part of our house as soon as possible. The installation crew showed up bright and early and began the work promptly. They even aided in making sure that all the items that need to be moved to give them room where taken care of. They were very clean and made sure items were covered so that any dust and objects would not be damaged. This was hard to maintain due to windy conditions, but they never gave up trying to keep things in place, it was very respectful. The crew was very good to work right through to lunch not breaking at all..........they continuously kept track of trash and did a great job in the clean up.

We interviewed a number of window installation companies before choosing Professional Window. The owner was prompt and courteous and answered all our questions (of which we had many). He went thru the entire process with us from beginning to end as to what we should expect. We discussed prices and installation times. The windows & doors arrived on time as promised and were installed promptly in just one day. The installation crew was timely and courteous and were very conscious of keeping our home as clean as was possible during installation. All debris was cleared and taken with them when the job was completed. The owner arrived as the job began and was back to inspect everything when the job was complete. I have already recommended this company to a number of my neighbors.

My experience using Florida contractors prior to using Angie's List first was not satisfactory. I have used Angie's List since and Professional Windows was one of the companies I got off of Angie's List due to their excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. Scott was the absolute professional, from beginning to the final inspection. Chris and Clifford, the installers, were also very professional and enjoyable. They finished the work in less than a day. My neighbors have said how nice they look. I would recommend them and have done so to my neighbors and friends. The price was reasonable and the quality of the windows and the work done installing them was A+.

We got a few estimates and liked the price and the fact that we were dealing with the owner of the company. Scott came out a few times to discuss our window options and to take measurements. Scott was always prompt in getting back to us either by phone or email. We had told Scott that we were flexible on the install date and we ended up getting our windows sooner then we had originally thought. The installation team (led by Chris) was friendly and efficient. They moved furniture and took down window blinds (and put them back when they were done!). They covered things in plastic and hung plastic curtains around their work areas. They showed up when promised and worked very hard, since many of our windows were stuccoed in. It took two full days and then a quick caulk touch up on the third morning. Scott came by a few times to check on the installation process. Any concerns we brought up were handled professionally. We are very pleased with our new windows!

It was a great experience. Scott Wilson and his team were very professional and hard working. We felt that the price was fair and they were very efficient and completed the work in the 4-5 day estimated time. They have a quality business and we have already recommended them to a few people. We only wish there were more businesses like them, it was a big project and it was not as stressful as we thought it would be because we were comfortable with them, and they did such a great job.

Professional Window and I go "way back" to the days when they replaced screening around my pool. When I decided to get hurricane shutters and called a company in Pompano who went out of business, and I learned they were doing shutters, I called Scott. His company installed shutters on all 21 openings in the house. I loved that because I could open and close them myself. So, a few months later when I had an attempted robbery and my sliding glass door was broken, naturally I called Scott. His company installed an impact sliding glass door and I really loved that (cooler, quieter, and safer). A few months later when I was on vacation, my other sliding glass door was shattered and again Scott and company to the rescue. I got another impact door in the back of the house. After reviewing my situation, I decided that the next point of entry might be the kitchen and so I called and requested impact windows in the kitchen. They were installed by Cliff and that was no easy job. He had to go through the inside of the house because of some brick work on the front of the house. The job was completed quickly, neatly, and efficiently. After yet another review I decided to go ahead and replace the awning windows with energy efficient windows and so of course, I called Scott. The remainder of my windows were replaced and what a difference in noise levels and electric bills. Additionally, through all of this one of Professional Windows employees, Joe, came out and installed bars on my sliding glass doors and locks on all my windows as I still felt a little unsafe. Now, I have recently purchased a home which still has the awning windows and shutters, neither of which meets current code. Since Scott and Professional Window rescued me so many times in my previous home, I called him to get impact windows in this home. I have worked with him for the past five years on the installation of shutters, energy-efficient windows, and impact windows and doors and have found him and his crews to be very knowledgeable, professional, competent, and courteous. Scott has always met with me personally to give me an estimate and explain in detail what will be done and how the job will be completed. All of the jobs have been completed quickly, neatly, and on time. I am pleased to be working with him again on my new home and look forward to another positive experience. I will write another review upon completion of this job and can almost assure all it will be a good one also.

Being new to Florida I had no experience with the various windows available not only for hurricanes but heat reduction and code compliance. My home had original windows with aluminum shutters that had to be screwed in with each hurricane warning. After a few experiences we decided to explore impact windows. Total of 16 windows, two sliding glass and two entry doors. I met with 8 companies - seems excessive but each company provided very different information. It came down to two companies who were consistent with info so it then came to price. By far, Professional came it with not only best price but able to do a complete job since I was doing some demolition with removing an old door and window replacing with a sliding glass door. Scott and his supervisor Chris Sullivan were very patient, responsive, made great suggestions, and I felt comfortable they were giving me accurate information. I've found that rare in my dealings with other contractors in Florida. Despite this being part of a entire home remodel, the crew treated the property as if it was a high end furnished home by protecting items in the house and installing dust barriers. Job started and finished as planned. I couldn't be happier. Their suggestions for windows and doors in the front look great and my neighbors all agree. I have been in touch with Scott with some questions that I have had since job completion and he not only returns calls but came to my house personally to discuss. Seems to have great follow-up too. I am now replacing windows in another property and have signed with Professional to do the job!

I CALLED SCOTT WILSON FROM PROFESSIONAL WINDOW INQUIRING ABOUT STORM SHUTTERS AFTER WILMA DEVISTATED OUR BUILDING. JUST MOVING HERE , DID,NT KNOW ANY CONTRACTORS. SCOTT MADE AN APPOINTMENT THAT SAME DAY , MEASURED AND GAVE ME A PRICE. I AGREED AND WITHIN 7 DAYS OR SO MY SHUTTERS INSTALLED AND READY FOR THE NEXT STORM. THE INSTALLERS "CHRIS' THEY CALL 'SPIDER MAN" INSTALLED THE 3RD FLOOR BEDROOM WINDOW SHUTTERS ON A LADDER ,WITCH I WAS SURE THEY WOULD HAVE NEEDED A MAN LIFT. THE SHUTTERS WORK GREAT . EASY TO CLOSE AND OPEN WITHIN A MATTER OF SECONDS. AND THEY STILL LOOK LIKE NEW.SCOTT WAS VERY HONEST AND HIS COMPANY PROFORMED TO HIGHEST OF MY STANDARDS . Initial meeting was very informative. Scott made several visits until we selected the products. Once we gave the green light, everything moved quickly and on schedule. Very happy with the crews and their workmanship. Very satisfied with the products we selected. This is a first class operation. Highly recommended.

Over the past few years Professional Window has installed windows, sliding glass doors and french doors in approximately 10 condo units located on the upper floors of our 20 story condo building. The work involves handling very heavy floor-to-cieling windows and doors, and the use of outside lift equipment for installing these windows. We have 2 condo units both installations were started and completed within the time frame we were given. Daily and final inspections were passed without any problems. We are very pleased with the products, workmanship and manner in which the project was handled. The crew took a great deal of care to protect our furniture, minimize the dust, and keep the work area clean and free of building material. Scott Wilson, the owner, updated us on regular basis and made several visits to the project. On a few occassions, the crew was confronted with problems involving elevator access and roof top access. Scott dealt with those problems in a very polite and effective manner. Professional Window met our best expectations and we believe that the other condo owners who used them are equally satisfied.

Everything as promised. Started work within 3 weeks of contract date. Installed 13 windows in 1 day with minor touch-up 2nd day. Worked very clean. Everything covered/protected and all debri removed. Execllent communication before start and after completion. Owner showed up multiple times. Passed inspection without problem. Courteous and professional from beginning to end. Not the lowest quote, but well worth the price. Highly recommended to family friends.

Scott Wilson gave us a lowish estimate which we accepted, and then he returned to explain he had forgotten a couple of windows (which he had) and gave us a good price on those. The work was completed exactly as stated by a competent and courteous staff. The finish is very good, and we are insulated against heat, sound and hurricanes - we can throw away the plywood shutters at last! The windows were part of a larger re-modelling operation, and Scott co-ordinated well with the general contractor.
