Hired David to help with some issues with my home security system. He came and charged a lot for the first visit. "Fixed " the problem but it kept happening. He would try to "fix" it over the phone or come over and charge me again for the same problem and it was not cheap. He then told me it was the IP address so I got a static IP address didn't work. He told me to buy a monitor to connect directly to the cameras....another $100 later...same problem. Finally got ring cameras where they are 24/7 there to help you. David does not work weekends and doesn't always like to work during the week. A security camera repair person should come over when needed. I paid a lot and never got the problems solved. He also made a disparaging remark about coming to the US to work eluding that "we" were not as smart I was super offended by that. He also when I tried to write down how to run through the check list of problem solving techniques he was quick to run through them so as to not help me...so I didn't have to call him and pay him each time the same problem occurred. He will probably respond about how I don't understand this and that but bottom line...he got paid a lot....my cameras don't work...no matter what he told me to buy or get and "it will fix the problem"

The owner is very nice. The man who came to fix the camera was nicely dressed/profession/fast/knowledgeable. The price for a first time/come out today and fix the problem, was very reasonable. My old camera company was the worst and never picked up the phone. I now have a new camera company and I am happy

Unacceptable. The Ethernet line in the contract was left out of the original permit and was then omitted from the contract and omitted from the revised permit without my knowledge by (POGO). When i asked for the permit to be on the job site I was told the City had a copy and their company had a copy and i did not need one! I never saw the permit or site plan until approx. 45 minutes before the inspector arrived. The Ethernet line was then attempted without the permit I paid $250. for and then installation abandoned and a hole left in my wall. I was then billed twice for the Ethernet line that was not done and the wall not repaired. When the invoice was finally updated they then increased the labor charge another $100. The company (POGO} claimed they thru away the Camera boxes, Documentation, Serial Numbers and 5 adjusting tools. This company (Pogo) now wants another $200. to come back and retrieve the Camera Serial numbers from the cameras, The Camera Manufacturer asks for the serial Numbers when I call for questions and I can not verity that the Cameras are authentic. 25% of the two rear Cameras are blocked by obstructions and visibility at night is poor. When I discovered that the $250. UPS I purchased to be installed was not here they switched with a $49.00 unit and incorrectly installed it and billed me for the original $250. unit. The Camera Power supply was originally installed where the vent and keyed door was blocked by a appox. 400pound desk! and the replacement UPS was installed without connecting the internal battery, daisy chained to another UPS, all of this needed to be redone in order to work properly and not void warranties. The owner of (Pogo) informed that I was not permitted to contact the actual holder of the Electrical Contractors Lic for this company before filing a complaint with the " State of Florida of Dept of Business and Professional Regulation" against their Lic. There appears to be NO guarantee on the installation that the equipment will work as promised and and all my unresolved issue do not fall under their warranty,

Pogo has excellent customer service. They are knowledgeable, friendly & responsive. I give them the highest recommendation.

Extremely professional company - they did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend Pogo. The technician that installed our security cameras, Carlos, was amazing - he was super professional, extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our satisfaction!

Arrived on time, completed the install as agreed upon. The best part is the support after the install is completed. I can call with questions and problems and get fast courteous help right over the phone. They make you feel like they still care about you long after they cashed your check. That's what I call great customer service.

The phone was answered professionally from the very 1st call. I told the rep what I wanted and within a couple minutes I was given a price. I was able to set an appointment for a time convenient to my schedule and it was within a couple days of my call. The service man arrived on time, appeared professional and kept to the job the whole time. There was no upsell, the price that was quoted was the final price. Very good job

Ronnie thoroughly checked all the fire alarm units. I explained to him that we had a false fire alarm some days ago and I wanted to make sure all the units are functioning. He checked all the 7 alarms in the house and replaced the batteries on the ones that were low. He was also helpful in explaining the do's and don't of the system and the signs to look for incase I needed to change the battery in the future.

David and his team was very responsive. Gave estimate quickly and work was done in couple of days.

This was a difficult job because of the low attic space and trying to run wires inside all the air ducts. Also the back building is a two-story and they had to run wires very high up in the air under the eve. We had hoped we could link up the two buildings to view on our dedicated TV, but that was not possible. We can however, view it on a laptop or iPhone. We can also hook up a TV in the back building to view if we wanted to. We had to call them back to move the front cameras which they did, no problem. They've been very responsive in making sure that everything is working properly to our liking and in showing us how to record, set up, etc.

David (owner} was very professional. He arrived on time and made sure the system worked perfect. .He cleaned up unnecessary cables that were creating issues and programmed the system over three days. I highly recommend his services for home automation or camera installation .

Be very wary when dealing with David Shnaider of Pogo Security operating out of Miami / Davie Florida. I have been dealing with Pogo for the past year and I feel like I should warn others of his questionable business practices and ethics. Firstly, I ordered a complete Control 4 home automation and system from Pogo, which he showed and continues to show little competence in understanding the basics of a system he states he's expertly trained in. The system, which I've paid tens of thousands of dollars has been flawed from the onset. Not knocking Control 4, as I do believe the system can work properly if properly configured. This is not the case for me and my experience thus far. The worst part of this story is when I ordered the system, I was sold 2 high end wireless access points on David's recommendation, costing me $600 each ($1200 in total) When he installed the system, that I unfortunately paid for in advance, I realized he switched the routers for a different set. He told me they were better than the ones I purchased so I thought I'd investigate the model numbers online and to my surprise the ones he gave me were from a cheap boxed set you can get anywhere costing a mere $200 in total. When I complained, he told me that he would replace them and has since not come through so I've been left with patchy internet. Further, he sold me a $6000 HDMI switch that has yet to be installed and sitting in it's original packaging. When he sold me the unit, he said it was plug and play with the rest of the system and I would be able to use it to control all of my TV's from one central location. When the time came to install, David realized that it required a bunch of other components that would cost me about another $10K. This wasn't mentioned when I purchased the box. I further found out that he paid about $1350 for this HDMI box and made me feel like he not only over charged me but he misrepresented the product. And lastly, I purchased 2 Wireless music bridges to operate my music on control 4. One of the music bridges was defective from the time of install and to this day, not replaced, repaired or serviced. Every time I call, David keeps stating that he's on it but like the other things he states, they are far from truthful. So after strike three, I've stopped trusting David's word. I have kept asking him to come and repair the items noted and just the other day, he has stated that he now wants me to pay him to come and fix the items. Enough is Enough, so I fired him and now I'm left stranded. Moral of the story, if you choose to ever use Pogo Security for any future work, be extremely cautious if you decide to provide any upfront money and I would wait until the work is complete and functioning properly before disbursing funds. I know it sounds basic, but he will promise the world and under deliver at the end. Also, don't be misled when David states he'll be back to fix any loose ends and lastly take note of each model and serial number ordered as David may switch hardware without telling you like he did with me.

My house was not easy but the technician did a really good job to make it work and was really polite and friendly. He installed the cameras and passed all the wires to the system. Installed the whole system in a good time frame and make sure that I was happy with the settings of the cameras. He cleaned everything before he left. We had some issue to setup the system with my router but the owner ( David) came to my house and find out that was my personal router that was the problem. We were a little bit skeptical but he told me to go get a other one and he will come back the next day to set it up for me. I did get a new router and he came back. He was right because now everything works perfectly and I'm really happy with it. I will recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a good service and reliable people. They will answer all your questions and worries.

Owner David Shnader personally came out to our house and took a look at what we wanted to do - then he emailed us a quote (which was very reasonable) and we set up an installation date. Unfortunate, due to inclement weather we had to reschedule - but that wasn't a problem - he just worked us in on the following Sat - which was amazing !! Ronny was our tech (and I can't say enough good things about him) he was awesome ! He put the cameras exactly where we wanted them - ran the extra wires in the attic - and had everything hooked up and working in no time at all ! We highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering installing any kind of a security system - they are professional, honest and complete the job in a timely manner !!

Terry (tech) arrived promptly, carefully listen to my security needs for my residence then looked my old system. Once he got started he was meticulous, re-wired the old system, installed several cameras and was very patient with me and answered all questions without hesitation and with a great attitude. This company was a quantum leap better than the last company that I used, they were professional, knowledgeable, patient, guarantee their work for 3 years, cheaper and the results surpassed all my expectations. I am a skeptic by nature but POGO Security was outstanding and I highly recommend them without hesitation. Two thumbs up!!!!!!

Fast professional good quality

I have purchased a security system for my home at a local store. Upon reading the instructions, I knew that I needed help with this installation. Not knowing where to go, I went on Angie's List and came across Pogo Intelligent Systems. I called and spoke to the owner David. He came right out and provided me a quote. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and expertise so I decided to go ahead and schedule the install. His team came out the following weekend and installed the cameras on a hot, humid Saturday afternoon. They were very professional and great to work with!! I am very pleased with my new security system and HIGHLY recommend them. If I ever decide to upgrade my cameras, I will definitely call them again. It scary spending a lot of money, and not knowing if the will do a good job or not. Pogo far exceeded my expectations and I give them an A++!!!

install went terrific. Did not get enough instructions on how to use system . the system works fime, but was not installed with secure access so the person I am trying to catch got into the system and hooked it up in his house. Not good. this was not Pogo's fult, necessarily, but they did throw the system specs, manual and details into the trash by mistake and the "bad person" got hold of them. The cameras work fine at home, but never worked on my tablet away. I have not gotten this fixed yet,because that someone is now a hold of my entire computer system and I cannot use it at home. All in all Pogo did do a fine job. These problems are not Pogo's fault., But they did contribute to them somewhat, because of the initial lack of security, which they did fix, but a little too late.

I sent a request via Angie List message, and they called back with in a couple of hours even thought it was around 7pm. We set a time for the next day. David showed up right on time and did call as I had request before he was on his way. I was very impressed with their punctuality! Did a great job, so I will for sure use them again!!

Project went very well. Provider is knowledgeable, reasonably priced, competent and stayed with the job until complete. No hidden charges, no attempt to expand cost.

Small scheduling issue. Very helpful, knowledgable and professional. Highly recommended.

They were great, they came out when they said they were coming out.

The installation was very good. The installers were on time and did a great job. They installed the cameras, the DVR and a remote viewer on my laptop. Unfortunately, they gave very little explanation of how to operate and program the DVR. The same is true of the remote viewer program for my laptop. They indicated that I should read the manuals for each and it would explain everything I needed to know. It turns out the manuals appear to be for a different version of the DVR and remote program - they simply don't agree.I have tried for over 2 months to get current manuals or an explanation from their service department as to how I can program the DVR and use the remote viewer program. To date, no success. In short, POGO has stopped communicating with me.The cameras still work fine. I just can't set or reset any preferences or views to my own liking. No current manuals and no service!!!!! **UPDATE - The company came out and installed new software and everything works perfectly.

They provide a great service, the personal was very responsible and professional. They did all the installation with no mess, they were organize and clean. by the time they were installing I was doing business and they never interrupt my operation. They answer all my questions and tech me how to work with the system. I will recommended for every body house or commercial purpose they know what they are doing and they do it very well, Congrats for your good job.

I set up a date and time to meet with David the owner and go over the different types of cameras, which there are many out there. I did all my research about the cameras sold at the Big Box Stores, HD, Lowe's, Costco, etc. David came out to my home and we sat together for approximately 5 hours going over everything, the type of Cameras, Wires, Camera Monitor, DVR, Etc. lots of different things. I settled on the type of Cameras, DVR and HDMI wires. We then went outside and looked where all the cameras would be placed and on how all of the wires would be run and where the DVR would be installed. Like I said all in all David was here for 5 hours the first day. Everything went smooth. We set up a time for the installers to start the job and was told it would take two (2) installers two (2) full days to complete my job. The installers showed up the first day, a few minutes late, not bad at all, first day, got a little lost, ok, no biggie. They introduced themselves to me, David also showed up to ensure all the equipment was here and to go over where all the equipment would be installed. I liked that the owner came out to check on things. I also walked with the installers and told them what I expected, we keep our property very clean and I did not want trash, cigarette butts, etc all over our yard. All the installers said was yes sir, we will make sure everything is cleaned up each day, and they did. It took them the entire 2 full days, as a matter of fact the second day, they did not leave until 700PM. We are very particular when it comes to work being done at our home. I am very particular with how companies respond to our calls and questions. You can see that in my other reviews. Pogo is a TOP NOTCH company. I would highly recommend using this company if you are looking for a Camera System or any other type of Security System. I have referred Pogo to a friend for their home alarm and cameras and they are very pleased. David will always answer your phone calls and text messages if you need anything, which is a huge plus.
