Description of Work: Change old fans for new in 2 rooms. Install fan wall switches.

Description of Work: Installed a ceiling fan on the outside porch and installed an outlet for the electric awning. It was slow and they used grey putty to seal the open areas following the installation. I gave them white caulking for the fan installation but they should have had that already for working on a white wall and white ceiling.

Description of Work: Not well. They sent out someone to "look at the problem and to quote the price". I have the most standard in home generator and the first thing the young man asked was if I had the manufacturer's booklet. He knew nothing about home generators. He was not sufisticated or trained eenough. It was clear they were looking to just collect the travel and quotation fee and not to do the work that day. When there was a battery issue so that they could not even do a diagnostic check they wanted to charge twice rather then return to diagnose the problem later in the day. I sent them on their way.

Description of Work: He setup GFI's in a bathroom. I like to learn and during the process he showed my how to properly wire two GFI's on the same line. He also fixed a simple problem with a 3 way switch.

Description of Work: This is the second time using Mr. Wireman. Their serviceman is very professional and even went the extra step to wait for me to go down to the local hardware to buy the correct ceiling fan that could be installed.

Description of Work: They installed a ceiling fan and dimmer switches. They guy was on time, courteous, clean, and very polite. However, the "big deal" is a bit deceptive. When I called to make the appointment I explained what I wanted and was told the big deal would cover it all. When the guy showed up he opened up a notebook and then told me it was going to be an extra! I was surprised and he explained that they had a set pricing list and showed it to me. So the big deal only subsidized the job. I explained my displeasure and he apologized and directed me to someone in the office to talk to. I called them and explained my displeasure and they listened but didn't budge. The work was high quality but I feel like I am victim of a bit of bait and switch.

Description of Work: Mr. Wireman's service was good, but the price seemed to be a little steep for the services performed. I have bought another Angie's list big deal from a competing electrician, and they would not have charged a cent over the initial $99. Good service, suspect price.

Description of Work: I purchased the $99 coupon in January, and decided to call this morning for the appointment to have a motion detection light installed on the side of my house. After introducing myself, and explaining why I was calling, I was met with a cool reception, and he explained to me that for the $99 it was only one visit, so I needed to have all the lights etc that he would need purchased and at my house when he arrived. When I questioned him about was how could I know what I needed, he then warmed up a bit, and offered to bring some lights with him. We have established a time between 1-3 on Friday. After reading all the variety of reviews, I feel skeptical if he would show. He did, and installed my light. At the end, when he asked me to sign the final paperwork, he gave me a lecture about how this Angie's List special should have a disclaimer on it about exactly what electrical services are provided (which there was no disclaimer so I had no idea), and he went on an on repeating himself a few times making me wonder if he was expecting to be paid more for the job. After about the fourth go around, I thanked him and edged him towards the door. I have no idea what their regular prices are, but while he did a good job with this special, he made it clear that the job did not fit into their "special" roster of jobs available, and I was feeling pressured that he wanted more money.

Description of Work: I have called the company serveral times and all I get is an answering machine. I have left at least three messages and this was during normal business hours. Them not returning calls makes me worry about the quality of work that they would provide. When my call went unreturned, I looked at their service record and notice that other consummers were having the same problem and thought that they did not provide adequate service for what was paid for.

Description of Work: Provider took my money via Big Deal coupon but refused to honor it. Not only did i lose money on the coupon, but also wasted a vacation day so i could be available for the service call. I will not do any future business with a company that steals money and does not honor committments.
