The company was reliable, professional, and did a good job.

They arrived late (after the window of time had passed) but I had the installation anyway because I didn't have to leave. The job was booked based on an Angie's List coupon for the install at $200. I have no idea how that compares to other prices. The techs noticed that I didn't have a cable outlet in that area and offered to install one for $225 but I declined. They were clean, neat, professional and pleasant to deal with. I had the cable company come out to install the new outlet and it cost $96.50. I got the feeling that maybe they are a little expensive, but I don't know for sure.

The grade given is for the outrageous estimate, which was over $1000. We then used a neighbors electrician who performed the work outlined as well as installed outside lighting in new landscaping. All the work was done for just under $1000. Something is wrong here-

I did get a discount to use Mister Sparky from Angie's List and it worked out well for me.

I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY! they are a rip-off and send out a totally clueless rep that then sends a sub out....if you are foolish enough to pay 5 times what the normal job would cost!

I give him an A rating because he was very good.

Lamay was great, professional, personable and punctual. 99.00 per light is so far off the planet, this guy makes 200.00 per hour then?? REALLY? I had an entire list of things to do (at least a full days work) as I just moved into a new home that I will find someone that is affordable. What you get with Mr Sparky is a high price that affords them all their flashy full page, full color magazine advertising and NO VALUE for the consumer. He wanted another 400.00 to hang and out door pendant light to go with my coach lights LOL... NO WAY, what kind of idiot in the big house do you think I am Mr. Sparky?

Had arranged for them to show up and quote on and install a light and two ceiling fans on Monday 4/9/12. They neither showed up nor called. When we called them after their appt time window they said they had us on their schedule for today (Tues). That was not the appointment we agreed to- clearly they missed our appointment and used the excuse they had us down for Tues to throw us off. When we mentioned their ad said Mr Sparky is on time or the "repair" is free, they told us the word is "repair" not install- but that they would try to come by Mon night and offer us a discount. At that point we didn't trust them and declined.

I saw the Angie's List special for exterior lighting which I was thinking of doing for almost 2 years. Pricing from previous electrical companies were prohibitive and I kept putting it off. Special pricing from Angie's List got my attention. After deciding to go through with the offer, I was contacted by a friendly representative named Deena from Mr. Sparky's office to set up the appointment. Electrician JC Rodriguez called me on the morning of the appointment 15 minutes before the appointment time to say he was on his way. JC arrived on time and was extremely friendly, easy to speak with and proceeded to explain different ways to install the motion sensor.JC needed to go to a supplier for an exterior weatherproof electrical box and he did so with no complaints. JC returned promptly and proceeded to install the fixture exactly how I wanted it installed. I could not be any happier with the work that JC did. I will definitely use Mr. Sparky again when I want to have garage coach lights installed and I will ask if JC can be sent again. He was truly professional in how he presented himself and is an asset to the company. Just waiting for another special!

As mentioned, I had a chandelier which had not worked for many years. Mister Sparky's electrician got it to work after other electricians failed. I would call them again and recommend them to Angie's List subscribers.

Nice, professional service. Miguel was right on time for appointment, very courteous gentlemen. He explained all options for me in details and give me a very detailed estimate down to penny. He was wearing disposable boot covers and cleaned all mess after job was done. I am very pleased with results and experience, but should mention that service was expensive. It turned to be Ok since I bought a “special deal” on Angie’s list, but without it it would be too high…

They did a satisfactory job.

The gentleman that came seemed very nice, gave me an estimate that was fair, and we arranged for service. On the day he was to return he didn't show up, nor did he call. I called to cancel the job, (if he doesn't even call he is not dependable.), was told the materials had not come in yet and that was why he was a no show. Was foolishly talked into giving him another chance. He was very late a week later, but had called to explain he was waiting for the materials. I would guess he hadn't ordered them the first time, He and a helper finally showed and did a fair job of installing the track lighting in the kitchen, but did it over the considerably large holes left by the old lighting, they left that for me to do which was difficult as I had to work around the new tracks, The dressing area was another problem. He had ordered the wrong lights for the dressing area, but promised to exchange them. I foolishly paid him, and he was to exchange the wrong lights for the right ones the following week. After many calls and promises, I am still waiting. It is now December 6th, and this has been going on since October 20. Throughout this experience the people at Mr Sparky were very nice , agreed to fix the problem, and proceeded to ignore it. Oh! if only I had canceled when I wanted to.

I would recommend them. They are very good. I got them through Angie’s List. They had a Big Deal on Angie’s List. The people that did an excellent job were named Harold and JC. They were excellent. They were very respectful and very knowledgeable. They worked very hard. The price was a lot because they had a lot of work done. It was fair for what they had to do.

Everything went perfect. I have no complaints.

My first concern was the fact that Anglin Electric is located in Lauderhill, which is 45 minutes away from where I live, but Lonny decided to help. They came the next day to learn more about the work, and left me with the estimate. Although the prices were high they were very straight forward and the way they price is standarized. They honored the $25 coupon they give Angie's list members. They scheduled me the next day and finished the work in one day. Everything works the way it is supposed to.

They found out what was wrong quickly. They fixed the problem. They are an omega company. They do very good work. They are very friendly people and they like to help. They are not second-hand personnel.

Very professional group. Came on time. Delivered all as promised. Noticed a small problem with the job a few days after they left and they came back immediately to fix the problem. I would definitely use them again. I really don't know anything about what the price should have been, but my satisfaction with the overall job eliminated my doubt about the price.

I reached Anglin Electric through a website called Service Magic. Anglin called me within an hour of submitting the request. Arrived at my home at 5PM the same day, provided me with a professional written estimate, gave me a date within a few days to perform the work, and showed up on time the day they said they would. They had nice equipment, uniformed employees, cleaned-up at the end of the day, and the employees were very pleasant. This was a pretty big job and they were here all day. I highly recommend this company. I am sure they are not the cheapest, but I believe you get what you pay for. This company is worth a few extra bucks!
