Description of Work: The provider initially scheduled service for 2/20 between 11:00AM and 1:00PM. No one showed up, so when I called they said the person scheduled was working on an emergency and couldn't make it. They rescheduled for today (2/22). They called this morning to tell me Jupiter was too far from their Hub and I should call Angie's List for a refund.

Description of Work: When I called the Mr. Wireman, they gave me the local number for their local provider for my area. The number they gave me was for another company who apparently was an affiliate of theirs in the past. THey do not honor this coupon, but I did end up using them because they offered me a discount.

Description of Work: I am so glad that I bought this deal. I needed some minor electric work done and saw this deal and purchased it. I called and made my appointment the lady who answered the phone and made my appointment was super nice. The company even came down here to Homestead even though it is out of their area because I had made my purchase through Angie's List. The electrician was early, took care of all my projects and asked if there was anything else I needed done. He was super nice and very professional, I was very impressed and will recommend them to others. Thanks for everything

Description of Work: I had called Mr. Sparky to hook up the electrical outlet for my dryer and to get an estimate to hook up the electrical outlet for my stove. They have an arrive on time or it's free guarantee. Well, not only did the tech not arrive on time, after being late he also didnt have the tools to do the job, left, and didnt come back until the next day. They tried to give me just a 15% discount because of it. I laughed and told the office manager (who was actually nice) that I knew about their guarantee and the service they were contracted for (hooking up my electrical outlet for my dryer) had to be free and that I would only pay for them hooking up the electrical outlet for my stove (and only because I had only scheduled them to give me an estimate for this, not actually do the service). After a lot of back and forth they did finally live up to their agreement, but I should not have had to argue with them over their own guarantee, and the tech should have been on time and got the service done the day he was hired for, not the next day.

Description of Work: I took advantage of the Angies list bargain for a house surge protector.( $199.00). Two technicians came within the time they said they would and inspected my electric panel. They informed me of a few problems with my outdated panel and noticed that one of the breakers were 2x's bigger than it should be,and that's dangerous. They had to buy a compatible breaker and replace the wire in the wall too. They were knowledgeable and quick, cleaned up after and explained the surge protector before leaving. I really need a whole new panel but I thought their price was slightly expensive and for the moment ,it will have to do. It's been doing ok since 1978. I will upgrade eventually and will call them again.
