WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! THEY DESERVE NO STARS! Signed contract last year, install was in February and still my job is not finished. I have leaking windows, distorted glass, missing parts and the caulking job is HORRIFYINGLY BAD (even after redoing). They left holes and cracks in the drywall. 2 windows were installed incorrectly and had to be reinstalled. An exterior door they installed leaked water into my garage and master bedroom closet as it was not sealed properly. They left they job site for the night during the install and left gapping holes open to the outside. The list goes on! They were no shows for a few appointments including the inspection where the inspector left because of missing paper work and no one was there to meet him. I lost so much time from work. My last communication with them when I was checking on when the replacement glass and parts would be in (which were ordered in March) I informed them that a seal at the top of the glass in one of my sliding glass doors is leaking water and another of our windows has badly distorted glass (looks like a fun house mirror when looking through it and 3 windows in total have this defect). They were going to schedule someone to come out to check on these two new issues but I have yet to hear back. This is why I am leaving this review. It is my opinion that you stay far away from this company. Once they have your money they don't care. Yes their pricing was good but you get what you pay for here.

This is the first time I have had to install windows in a home. Everything from the sales team to the installation was perfect. The team was on time, professional, covered everything to protect my stuff. The windows look amazing too. They were truly great to work with!

My instillation crew was the best. they worked through the rain and also made sure no rain got in the house while working. They stayed late on the last day to ensure they were done in the time we were told it would be done. I would highly recommend LockTight for any of your window and door needs.

Great Job!!! and a professional smooth process, from the beginning to the end. I hired LockTight Impact Windows and Doors to install my impact windows, and I am so grateful for their service! Since day one, they sent a knowledgeable guy who explained the whole process and alternatives, from a product perspective as well as the financial aspects of my investment. From start to finish, there was a constant follow up about my windows, from the production in the factory until the installation. This was performed very professionally and incredibly fast!! The crew was fantastic, they knew what they were doing, as well as the management staff and supervisors. They were always willing to help. Little discrepancies were settled fast and easy, as happens in any construction job, and they always looked for my satisfaction. I recommend LockTight 100%. I love my Impact windows, they look fantastic!!! --

Lock-Tight Windows exceeded our expectations! We initially thought the job would take longer; however, they finished 10 out of 13 windows on the first day. Our window installation was smooth and efficient. The team was very courteous and respectful of the property. They made sure to clean up after they completed the work each day. Lock-Tight Windows provided the best customer service and answered all our questions and concerns.

Estimation/Sales: Came out quickly. Walked us through the construction of the windows. Original overpriced estimate was updated (30% lower) and put us top of priority if we'd be in promotional photos (sales gimmick since the photos were never taken and we definitely were not a priority). Contracting: 3 payments due 1) initial deposit, 2) first day of installation, 3) installation completion. Note, the final payment is due before inspections are done. There is a contract term that requires LTIWD to fulfill inspection and punch list items, but only if you take the finance option. If you pay cash, you'll need to do a change request, otherwise you are not covered. Sizing: One slider was ordered and installed in the wrong direction (we're okay with this unexpected change, but others may not be). All windows were slightly larger than their openings and installation crew verbally complained about having to grind every opening to fit. Project Management: Non existent. There is no consistent person throughout your project as LTIWD shuffles your project between different departments based on the phase it is in. LTIWD only proactively called me 3 times. Scheduling start of installation, requesting final payment, and most recently to have me sign a no negative statements addendum in return for them fixing a curtain they damaged. I had to call them more than 40 times over the year and a half to get project status or follow up on next steps. Be prepared to do your own HOA application/approval. LTIWD's HOA department contacted our HOA, got no response, and didn't do any follow up for a month. LTIWD does not place the order until HOA approval is obtained, so this delayed the entire project. When I called their HOA department to check status, I got personally got our HOA approval that day. Quality: Okay. Definitely better than the old windows and accordions we used to have. Fits are all good, aside from slider installed the wrong direction. Sill inset for our french doors was installed incorrectly, so they had to punch new holes for the locking pins which are still misaligned and the door doesn't always latch properly. In final completion of punch list items, LTIWD painted over one of our curtains which is still pending replacement. Final thoughts: Was going to rate them 2 stars since the product was okay and it's their management that's ineffective, but their last follow up forces me to warn everyone away from this company. It's been 1.5 years since we signed the contract and our damaged curtain still has not been replaced. There was 3 months to order the curtain through a different vendor (outside of their control), but now the curtain is ready to be installed and LTIWD will only install it if I sign an addendum prohibiting me from making any negative statements, remarks, or reviews. After the experience I've had, please save yourself the headache and go with anyone else.

Are you looking for a company that does great work, returns phone calls, and delivers on a signed contract and verbal promises? How about one which only needs to measure once; therefore, not keeping you hanging for 15 months for the job to be completed? Do you want them to apologize for mistakes they make, corrects their errors, and demand payment before the job is complete? Have you considered working with a company that has all documents ready for inspection so that the inspector is not required to come out twice? If you are then LockTight Impact Windows and Doors is not the hurricane impact windows company you should work with. We were deceived and lied to. It was not because of a supply chain issue that our project went way over the requested time frame. It was because of errors on their end. They measured incorrectly and then partially completed the job. They did not have all paperwork ready for the inspector once the final item was completed, causing their installers to revisit our home, remove already installed items, take photos and then reinstall. The inspector made two trips which is something he’s not done before. My neighbor who used LTIWD, on a recommendation I regret providing, was told by LTIWD that if she provided a 5-star rating they would take $250 off her final bill. Do not make the same mistake we made. They have 3.5 stars and an A+ rating with the BBB is deceiving. This is a company that I recommend running far away from and one that does not deserve their rating with the BBB.
