The office informed us of our appt time and let us know they were on the way. Dan was also informative of everything also. I [lan to use them on the front of the house next month.

Description of Work: After reading some excellent reviews on this company, I called them for a complete gutter installation following reroofing our home. Because of the angle of the flashing below our mansard roof over the garage, I had a very detailed talk with the estimator about the need for wood braces to be attached below the flashing in order to affix the metal gutter braces to it (so as not to cut into the metal flashing). The estimator went back to Gutter It Up and provided me with an estimate showing wood bracing. When the crew came to install the gutters, they had no wood bracing and assured me they did not know how to install any type of wood bracing. I advised the crew to leave. The crew called the owner to report the problem. With me standing right there, the owner did not even ask to speak with me. Dealing with this company was a complete waste of my time.

Mr. [Member name removed], We apologize that we could not meet your expectations for your gutter project, but lets be fair here, your gutters could have been installed the day we showed up had YOU not been difficult and allowed our technicians to do their job. Our installation team showed up to your home to inspect the fascia and determine what materials will be needed to build the wedges for your gutter system. You criticized our operation and our competence based on not having the material already on the truck. How did you come to that bold conclusion? And why did you LIE in your review that I (the owner), PERSONALLY reached out to you by phone while my men were still there in your driveway to assure you that we would be able to take care of the installation for you without any issues. You were VERY rude and obnoxious when I was only trying to help and address any concerns that you had. At that point you left me wondering what was the REAL problem here, was it that you had no faith in our competence to do the work or did you just have second thoughts on getting your gutters installed? If there was anyone's “time wasted” here, it was OURS…… Have a great day!

Description of Work: Bait and switch. Told me I needed 50ft more of piping at $8 per square foot. If I wanted a cheaper piping of $4 a square foot I would not be able to use the Angie's List Coupon. Not someone I want to do business with. Please refund ASAP.

Dear (removed member name), "Bait and switch" is quite an inflammatory and erroneous accusation. The Angie's List promo is very STRAIGHTFORWARD, which has been running successfully for over a year without any conflict or confusion from many of our SATISFIED customers. The back of your home over your pool deck required 75 feet (SEVENTY FIVE FEET) of gutters with 26 feet (TWENTY SIX FEET) of downspouts, a total of 101 feet (ONE HUNDRED and ONE FEET.) The promo is for 50 feet (FIFTY FEET) @$249.00 which is at a DISCOUNTED rate of $5 per foot. Like any certified coupon or promo, anything outside the scope of the promo will be charged at the REGULAR price. Clearly, you did not read the DETAILS of the promo which is as clear as day. Incidentally, it is the marketing agents of Angie's List that construct and generate these deals, so I suggest you take it up with them. I work very hard to ensure that I meet customer satisfaction and this reluctantly included having to put YOU ahead of a customer on Saturday to meet YOUR sour demand. A THANK YOU would have been nice because my other customers had things to do too! It is your prerogative to take advantage of the Angie's promo or NOT. However, receiving your "F" review and accusing me of this "bait and switch" is UNACCEPTABLE simply because it did not meet your limited budget. You are free to pursue other estimates from other companies but I shall not be abused by your irate and un-constructive criticism. My company, is a TOP rated company in this category with over 161 favorable reviews attesting to the quality of our services. We didn't get this far by engaging in unethical practices nor shall I ever tolerate what you accused us with your, "bait and switch." Perhaps, it would have been less painful had you just decided to SWITCH companies rather than throw in your bad BAIT of misleading LIES. For that I give YOU an "F"!! Good luck with your project!
