DAVIE GLASS & MIRROR

Took the table top to the company on 12-02-2020 to be measured so a second top could be replicated. Had to leave the original there as we were told no one was available to measure at that time. We picked up the original top a few days later. They gave us a timeline of 7 - 10 days and asked for payment up front. We paid by credit card and waited. Called numerous time when we did not hear back. Each time we were told either they were short staffed or we got a message saying they were closed. When we were able to actually talk to someone, it was excuse after excuse. My husband even went by the place of business and got nothing but excuses as to why the glass was not ready. Got a call this morning saying the glass was finally ready. My husband went to pick it up and it was the wrong size. They tried to tell him those were the measurements "he" gave them but he pulled out our invoice with the correct measurements and had to remind them they took the measurements. Apparently because it is tempered glass, they had to send it out (which we were originally never told) and now blame it on the company they farmed the work out to. Now we have to wait again to see if our order will come in from the other company. I have rarely had to deal with such incompetence and lack of concern for the customer. I will NEVER use this company again!

I called about having a mirror reinstalled that had been removed after a remediation job. They weren't able to do the work because the materials didn't originate from them (totally understandable), but I wanted to leave a review anyway because they were very quick to call me back after I left a message and super helpful and friendly, by recommending another company for the job. I've been having a lot of work done on my house this year and you'd be shocked by how many unreturned calls I have. From just their professionalism alone, I would call them again for my mirror or glass needs.

It went very well. They were very responsive and set an appointment to measure for the mirror the same week. Unfortunately I had to cancel when Hurricane Irma was headed our way. After the storm I called to reschedule and, again, got an appointment for measurement right away. He was very prompt and worked quickly. He was a little late for the installation appointment but was very efficient, professional and clean.

Everything was perfect. I called about 10am and was given a same day appointment that afternoon. Jeff called on time and as agreed when he was leaving the job before me. He was courteous and professional. He cleaned up as much of the broken glass as he could have and the work took a bit over an hour. I highly recommend this company. And they were about 15% less expensive than the other estimates I obtained.

Called them in the morning. Their man came that very afternoon & replaced the pane with a new one he cut to the correct size. That's what I call good fast quality service right on time

An efficient place however I was quoted over the phone $300 to remove 2 large mirrors from the wall and dispose of a broken one. The quote was over priced as the job took less than 1 hour; I found another service provider in the area to do the same job for $200.

Davie Glass was very quick to respond to my emails, get the details about my project, to give me a quote for the services, and to schedule the appointment for the work. The serviceman called me within the appointment window and showed up as promised. The work was done quickly and professionally I am very happy with their service. I would highly recommend Davie Glass to anyone.

my 1st indication they were not a reputable company is when they refused to take a credit card!!!!! cash or check only!!! I called asking if they changed mirror medicine cabinet doors... reply only if you bring them in. I'm 74 years young ...fortunately I had some work being done in my home and had them removed placed in my car and brought them to Davie Glass and Mirror.. They removed them from my trunk (after I asked them to) and gave me a price. A week or so later they called saying they were done...I picked them up had my contractor hang them and we almost fell over from how misfitted they were and 1 door was actually black in a corner. I immediately called and the reply was measure where they need to be cut and bring them in. I replied "you had the original mirror on the door...now you expect me to measure what you need to cut this way when it does not fit you can reply "well you measured it"!! You are a despicable company ..should never be in business and wish you would get out of my town!!! as I would hate anyone else getting ripped off by you.!!!!!! Shame on you!!! You should have driven the 3 miles to my home and measured yourself to see what was screwed up in you application!! Shame shame shame on you!!!!!!!

The mirrors are overlapping. When addressed they advised me to mark it and bring it in. I stated I wanted them to come to my home and measure themselves but they declined. They are awful.

He arrived promptly and measured the shower door opening. I showed him the specific style I was interested in from the website as well as a style that was not shown on the company website. He assured me that someone from the office would contact me with an estimate and information on the other possible style. I have yet to hear from the company.

I called Davie Glass on Monday when the first company I called got let us down. They quoted me over the phone, and came out the next day. Mirror was gone in 20 minutes. We had them look at our showers for future replacement. Would definitely use them again

Ordered it. They made it. I picked it up. It fit perfect.

Very courteous took the time to find a solution for my problem. With his expert advice, my problem is gone.

Emailed pictures and measurements, asked for a quote. Return email quoted $400, but informed must have their guy measure. Measured and had to call the office/manager (like a used car dealer). New quote was $585. Told the measuring man "no thank you". They then called back and said it was all a mistake, the wife misunderstood something (?). Complete waste of everyone's time.

The person who came to measure the job was prompt and polite. After we paid the deposit we were informed that there would be a one week delay on installation due to the Christmas holidays. After hearing nothing from them for 3 weeks we called and were set up for installation the following day and were told that installation would take one hour. The 2 men who arrived to install the shower surround arrived on time and were polite. Once they started working they said that they had never seen that model enclosure before and couldn't figure out how to put it together, they also made the excuse that it had been measured wrong, resulting in multiple cuts and poor fits. The total job took well over 3 hours. The final result was less than impressive; there were chipped and scratched tiles and the caulking around the frame was not done well. The first time I used the shower, water ran all over the bathroom floor, the bottom of the frame had not been caulked and was leaking underneath. I caulked it myself since I know I can do a better job at caulking than they could and I would rather not have them come back.

I wasn't really thrilled with them to be honest. On the first time they delivered the doors, they brought the wrong size and yet they had come and measured. For the doors that they ultimately delivered, there was a flaw in one of them but we didn't make them change it. It is what it is. I have had a lot of voice mails and I have to follow-up. They were not that responsive unfortunately.

They arrived on time, repaired the broken window. Job was quick and professional.
