Description of Work: We had them do the porch, and the bathroom tile. That person that they subcontracted did an excellent job. When we had the whole condo done they sent out substandard contractors. Their work was poor and they couldn't fix it without taking the whole floor up. The owner couldn't fix the problems so he just walked away with our money. No recourse for us. Do not use him. You never know who he will send to do the work.

Description of Work: All excellent. I felt at first owner was bit skeptical. He is a nice hard working person. He later became aware there was no need but too many dishonorable clients, I think he only is not naive. Excellent working crew and Daniel very efficient. Work was accomplished very quickly, floor is beautiful.

Description of Work: I called 2 days before Christmas and they agreed to come and fix my floors on Christmas Eve. When the gentleman arrived he told me that the job was bigger than a patch job. He evaluated the situation for me and advised on next steps. He was extremely courteous and helpful. The experience with them from the first call was professional and unusually courteous. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Description of Work: Took out carpet and tiled a 265 sf room. Daniel gave me a great price, a quick install date and kept in touch throughout the process. His installer, Fernando, showed up on time , cleaned up each day and was extremely polite. I would use them on every job in the future.

Description of Work: They installed bedroom carpeting. Prior to that they installed hardwood flooring in the living area. The installers were very professional and the quality of work was topnotch. + 0 moreOf all the companies that gave us quotes, Daniel Flooring was by far the cheapest. He was very willing to negotiate, and although he was the cheapest, the work was not cheap. His staff did a fantastic job. It took them a week to remove the old flooring, install the new and replace the baseboards. They worked non-stop from the time they got to my house every morning until they left in the afternoon. They only stopped for a half hour lunch. The workers were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Also, they spoke English, which was important to me since I don't speak Spanish. We absolutely love the results and would definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: Daniel Flooring removed our old wood floors, installed the new flooring that they helped us pick out, and replaced our baseboards.

+ 0 moreDaniel the owner picked out a beautiful tile for me and I chose it. He was very gracious about accomodating my schedule and his installer (Fabian) kept in touch with me as they made their way to pick up supplies, then to my home. The tiles were in stock, no waiting. The job took a total of about 10 hours. I was consulted all along the way about my wishes for the transition piece, the grout color, and the caulking. The workers were gracious, even with me hovering. The job turned out beautiful. Look at the pictures of before and after.
Description of Work: Crew was Fabian and a helper. The helper was not very careful with my walls and I had to repaint several areas. They moved my furniture out of the bedroom and replaced it at the end. Removed old carpet from bedroom and closet. Installed ceramic tile in both and added 4.25" painted to match my walls baseboards in both. The baseboards got very beat up from installation and I had to touch up most of them.

After they left I noticed a remaining odor of pet urine (which is why the old, nasty carpet was being removed), and loose areas where the carpet was lifting. I checked and realized they had reused the old, soiled, tacking strips. The owner did not return my calls for a couple days, until I said I would be filing a report with Angie's List. He returned my call within minutes. He explained that strips last 10-15 years. I countered that these were over 30 years old. He said they still use them if they are in good condition. I said they were not holding in spots, and had been soaked in pet urine. He wanted $75 for the workers to come back out. I refused. A worker came out just to re-tack the loose spots. While lifting the carpet to sprinkle baking powder for the odor, I discover that THEY HAD LEFT THE OLD,SOILED,URINE-SOAKED PADDING UNDER THE NEW CARPET IN THE CLOSETS!
Description of Work: Removed carpet and padding in two small bedrooms and closets. Installed new carpet.
